Message: I want to trade for a Pokemon that is strong in battles.
Answer: There's enough types in the game right now. I won't bring anythinhg new in the game because game doesn't need it. Anyway I can imagine a new type. Something like glue/gooey type, which is effective against flying, fighting and fairy types, not very effective against water and ground, resists fighting, fire and fairy (why not) and is weak to water, ice and poison types.

Thanks in advance!

A: Null type. Typeless.
A: Well, we have energy (electric) and all four fundamental states of matter... liquid (water) and solid (ice, rock, steel) gas (flying i guess) plasma (fire)... as well as complex formations of matter like life (grass, bug) and its derivatives (poison) consciousness (psychic) and mythical (dragon) even mystical (fairy, ghost) and the opposite of energy (dark). So that pretty much leaves other more exotic states of matter. But instead of being entirely NEW types, why not just make it an emergent property of a new double typing. Example: A pokemon with the type Water Water. A double water type which is given the property "Superfluid" one of the more exotic states of matter. Or a double ice type would be a Supersolid or Bose-Einstein Condensate. A double ground or rock type could be a Superglass. A double electric could be a Quantum Hall state. A double dark type could be Dark Matter. A double fire could be Quark Gluon Plasma. Basically most if not all the more exotic states of matter can correlate to the various pokemon base types, but are just way more extreme 'analogs' of those things. I mean they don't have to use all those fancy scientific terms in the game itself if it's too confusing to people, but the concept itself can remain. I think that would be an interesting new mechanic.

Answer : The type I would introduce is a « City » type. I really liked how Rotom can change shape and invest things we find in the daily life. That would be an extension somehow to Spectrum but adapted to objects we find in the city.

Thanks !

Question: If you could add a new type to Pokemon, what would it be, and why?
Answer: Maybe a type similar to steel or rock, maybe something in between. I’m thinking a different metal (iron) or maybe silicon to represent technology. It could be weak to fire but resistant to grass or some interesting combination!

Answer: I would make a type that would counter Fairies. In usual mythology, the polar opposite of Fairies is demon, so I think a type along the line would make sense. Though demon should be weak against steel as well, kinda like how demons can get killed by silver bullets
