Alright pals we've finally hit the finals. I want to take this final moment to finally thank everyone for playing this tour, I hope to see you all back for the first ever CAP Majors soon!

Rules:
  • This is a standard SS CAP tournament.
  • The format is best of three, double elimination.
  • Changing teams in between matches is allowed.
  • You are required to post your replays.
  • All Smogon tournament rules apply.
  • Any change in tiering will not take effect until the following round.
  • Matches must be played on Pokemon Showdown or Smogtours.

First, congrats to both players for making it this far!! Before predicts though, let's take a look at each player's bracket this tournament.

velvet > Heaven Jay & reachzero > fakee > lezzy cuttlefish > SunMYSER > Lasen
luisin > Heaven Jay & reachzero > Heaven Jay > adem > DetroitLolcat > Fakee > SHSP > spoo > shnowshner > Zephyri > weakermaker

As you can see, luisin was knocked into loser's in R1 and had an insane run towards finals. While he definitely got lucky in a few sets, I believe he's done very well to get this far and objectively had a harder bracket than velvet. I also think his team choices have been more solid overall, though velvet's ability to win with unusual or somewhat dated teams is quite telling of player ability, too.

Ultimately, I'm predicting luisin here. Good luck to both players, hoping for a clean set :-)

Btw can someone let me know when these games get scheduled to happen, that would be awesome ty
