If you have any questions lmk I suppose, hf.

Long post ahead. I did some building this pl but mostly I wanna show off my funny green badge so here's every single finished team I made this tour in chronological order. Any alternate versions are linked in the paste with the finalized versions.

:spectrier: :diancie: :registeel:
This was the very first finalized team I made for PL6, a squad I whipped up for Nalei because specs Diancie matched really well into Blanched's builds. I experimented by first pairing it with Dragapult, but ultimately decided on Spectrier for its superior stallbreaking ability. I needed something to beat faries (especially Fini) and that would have a decent matchup vs Magnezone, so I decided on AV Regi. Later in the tour I experimented with Metagross>Registeel but it just wasn't as good. Matchups for this are really solid, probably the worst one is subseed Venu but Spectrier and Regi can both scare it out.

:volcarona: :dracovish: :ninetales-alola:
I made this because my roommate (who had never played pokemon) told me to put Volc and Vish together on a team and I obliged. This one was also for Nalei; even though the building process was kinda odd it ended up being solid. I originally made it with a magnezone for the Volcanion matchup, but decided Ninetales would be better for some fairy coverage I was missing out on. The team ended up losing to Naganadel, Regieleki, Volcanion, Aggron, and Togekiss so it was pretty shit but I was building for the person who brought Togedemaru+Mence game 7

:necrozma: :dracovish: :volcanion:
I think this was the first and only time I built with Necrozma for pl, and the team never got used. I believe they were made for pults week 1 and Tenzhii brought their own stuff, but it was a solid idea. Porygon-z and Necro were both getting insane usage, as well as Tapu Fini, so I decided to take advantage with that using AV Necro ev'ed for Pz with band Vish for opposing Necrozma. AV Meteor Beam is actually for Zapdos odds which is pretty funny; overall the team was solid but Necro's ban made it worthless.

:corviknight: :togekiss: :garchomp:
Made this for Pults week 1 and it ended up being the only game tenzhii won vs Zio week 1 after haxing his charizard (sorry fam). I described it in detail here when I submitted it as a sample and it's incredibly solid, probably my favorite team I made all tour.

:archeops: :tapu-koko: :Landorus:
I tried to follow the same principles I did in the prior team with flying-type+anti-bs+scarfed but this team is obviously a little more cursed. Archeops+Charge Koko meant a good zapdos matchup but with a glaring weakness to fat offensive mons like Aggron and Ferro. I decided to ignore it and gave it to dogknees anyway, who ended up winning with it. This team was pretty important this pl because it marked the turning point where I realized dogknees could and would win with anything. Had this team lost ever, I probably would've decided to tone down the nonsense.

:kyurem: :tapu-bulu: :heatran:
I remember I had played RTM recently leading up to this game, I thought Toxic Kyurem would be good to catch him unaware. I had noticed he suffered from wishful thinking in matchups, so this was a bit of a lure for Necrozma. I then paired it with two DFS mons I hadn't tried yet. It ended up being something solid enough to use but definitely far from standard.

:Tapu-fini: :celesteela: :nidoking:
Week 3 for dogknees vs. ncalath. I wasn't worried about RTM bringing Necrozma so I tried out scarfed Tapu Fini to catch all the Entei and Volcarona builders trying to beat it. While the set is bad, it ended up being a team I really liked that strongly resembled a Bopher team he made me w1 of PL5. I threw Leech Cele on there to optimize fairy matchups and cover Aggron for once, and then I added a Nidoking to beat electrics like Koko and Zone.

:Urshifu: :Tapu-koko: :entei:
This one was also for week 3; I felt like abusing scarfed pokemon this week ig. Scarfed Urshifu was great for Landos, ensured the Pult/Spec matchup, and carried Fire Punch for ID Chople Ferro. I pretty much just made this to beat all the Italian mons I had been seeing the prior weeks, and it ended up well. Threw on Charge Koko because I still thought that set was good and then put an Entei for extra insurance against Faries. The ground check is scarfed Urshifu-S, so it takes some bluffing vs grounds to pull out wins with but overall I was happy with my performance of this team on ladder and in tests.

:Dracozolt: :Darmanitan-Galar: :Ferrothorn:
This one's dedicated to Quaritchz, just 3 physical and manly-ass mons all together. I hadn't given any of these mons a shot until this team and I realized that Dracozolt just straight up ohko'ed Arcanine at -1 attack, so I thought it'd be just like the Vish I had been spamming but with counterplay to fairies. I thought Chople Ferro was a blanket check to all Urshifus (it's technically not, still a pretty good one though) which is why I paired it here. It also took care of the Magnezone matchup so I could have Darm-G beating all the scarfers I'd encounter.

:whimsicott: :Urshifu: :arcanine:
I built this Coba Whimsi + Shifu core for Nalei week 4 and suggested Arcanine last, she ended up putting Volcanion or something on it and got 3-0 ed by Naganadel so I threw on Arcanine and fixed it up. I don't think anyone ever ended up using it but Coba Whimsi + Arcanine is a really good pairing because you don't need Babiri with an Arcanine and every single Zapdos-Galar thinks they 3-0 you with the Defiant boost. Urshifu sucks though and this was the first time I realized that.

:Venusaur: :togekiss: :urshifu:
Another team I made for Nalei from a core that I don't think she ended up using at all, I wanted to give Venu a shot and Togekiss pairs well because it handles a lot of stall Venu can't beat. The fairy matchup between these two is really good so I tossed an Urshifu on; I think the team loses to Ferrothorn but it's fine for ladder and probably not something I'd bring in tour.

:primarina: :crustle: :volcarona:
I made this for bea which he ended up winning with twice after picking nonsense pokemon each time. The team is completely smashed by Tapu Fini with basically no counterplay to ID+CM but they never brought a Fini. I use it a lot on the ladder, Life Orb Volcarona is really underrated because it's both more powerful and more bulky than people are expecting. A lot of people at this point were running random shit like Sitrus, Kee, Custap, WP on their Volcs and I hated it so I decided to make something that'd smash through most Kokos at the time.

:darmanitan-galar: :venusaur: :grimmsnarl:
There's a story to be told with this Grimmsnarl. I had wanted to try Custap Venu for awhile, and Scarfed Darm helped vs the flying types I was struggling with. It also appreciated the coverage for Rillaboom, fairies, and waters. I needed to be able to beat a crazy hitlist of like Metagross, Arcanine, Registeel, Necrozma, and Urshifu-Single with the third but couldn't think of anything. I ended up with a Grimmsnarl carrying Rest for stall Arcanine and decided I'd rather sack a reliable Meta matchup than a reliable Necro matchup.

:Celesteela: :Tapu-koko: :Crustle:
At this point I had also decided to try building for the Heatrans and I made them this sauce which I later submitted as a sample. I remember telling frag to test it before I built him any more teams and he waited until the day before he played to tell me he wouldn't be testing it so I decided I wouldn't make anything else for the series. Luckily this team was awesome; I had been wanting to try out Celesteela at XSC's beckoning after Necrozma got banned and it did not disappoint. You can read more about the teambuilding process here.

:Corviknight: :togekiss: :rhyperior:
I ended up caving and felt bad so I whipped up this infamous team by referencing my Garchomp one. This one suffered from a much worse zone matchup but at the benefit of beating Zapdos, which ended up being fruitless in the actual game LOL. Anyway, not much to say here. The team is basically the same as the other one, but I ev'ed Rhyp with only spdf to give the best odds vs Darm-G by enduring t1.

:aggron: :Spectrier: :aromatisse:
Decided I was through losing to banded Aggron and used it myself. This one was for dogknees the next week-Aggron paired well with Spectrier because it handled Sturdy mons like Steelix and Zone while Aromatisse capped the team off with 3 pokemon who kinda beat Fini to get them not to click it. Anyway, this is one of my favorite teams of the tour and I've gotten tons of use out of it on ladder, even though I can't remember how it did in PL.

AV Goodra was a mon I really wanted to use to sneak up on some of the water-fairies as well as Aromatisse and it did not disappoint. Double choiced mons in specs Fini and scarfed Arcanine let Arc cover stuff like Zera, Darm, Venu, Celesteela while Fini is just great coverage so it didn't look like I was explicitly luring all that I was. I also realized that ambiguous teams like this work well, because this tour it seemed like people in ss1 or Bo7 were scarfed to click the 3-0. Usually in changing metas you can get away with losing to some mons as long as your sets are ambiguous enough, and this was evidence of that. I use this team all the time on ladder, so if you want a free win feel free to bring Crustle or Aggron.

:Aromatisse: :rotom-wash: :crustle:
Further spamming crustle, I made this team for one of Blanched or Murman during the semis. Initally I made an Imprison+Rest Kasib Hatterene to beat Pult and Regi while still maintaining fairy coverage and a good matchup against Taunt users, but then I realized Aromatisse existed. Rotom-Wash was a cool mon I'd see Charm using to beat Celesteela that I decided to try out for the Steel matchup. Mostly I was thinking it walled Metagross completely, and that I'd run wisp + 2 attacks for Aggron and Rhyperior. Rounding out the team with banded Crustle for fairies, this has been one of the most technically unsolid but high-performing teams I've made. It loses to Magnezone, Kartana, offensive Koko, mixed def Fini, and Ferro. Use it though, it's fire.

Something I made with Trashuny in playoffs, this team is very technically solid but the matchup is never that great. Stall azu was pretty underrated at the time, and pairing it with Eleki to take care of non-grounds was a cool idea. This is kinda matchup stacking for some mons like Meta, Shifu, etc but it ended up being good against a lot of the pl meta. Mental herb Volc was a Trashuny idea for Koko and for Zera that worked really well with the two others. I don't think it ever got used but definitely a solid one.

:archeops: :magnezone: :torkoal:
Semis for Blanched, I didn't end up giving this team the go-ahead because I just couldn't find the right third. Arch + specs Zone is a monster core, but the hitlist for the last mon was like every Urshifu, Regidrago, Metagross, Zeraora, etc. It was just too much so I made a Counter-Clef version which loses to a well-played band Meta and a Torkoal version (my preferred one) which only loses to a faster Zone and the right Regidrago set. Super cool team and you don't really realize how great not having to worry about crits are until you try out a Shell Armor mon.

Anyway, that's the end of my dump. Thanks Mubs Here Comes Team Charm! Trashuny Kentari DenisTheMenace Elo Bandit for letting me help out your teams by building this tour, I really regretted missing out on playing but I had a great time making teams.
