don't think I've listened to AIC with DuVall as of yet. Something on my to-do list... and yeah the band wasn't as good after the bassist left after I think S.C.I.E.N.C.E. ... not sure if that's when he left but whatever that bass was just awesome. Fungus Amungus is pretty interesting, they have a lot of funk in that.... on that note, Sublime? lol

on that note, ska is a pretty big thing in my town, with like two major bands in my high school.... Look up Skatch On the Rocks, Solon. That might be something you like :P it's ska though, idk if you're into that

Honestly I've never really liked them or even listened to them for that matter. And yeah rush is pretty good since you can almost geek out with it lol (crazy time signatures and percussion etc). Oh that reminds me, what are your thoughts on incubus and the foo fighters? Again a bit newer, but still solid quality. Incubus used to be mostly metal, but nowadays they're more of a light rock band. Solid stuff regardless. As for the foo fighters, I'm sure you know Dave grohl's stuff lol

I've listened to all of that. Never really got into Smashing Pumpkins for whatever reasons - Mellon Colly is a really good album though, it is really varied. I've recently gotten into Alice In Chains, some of their stuff is actually really good. Before, I would just stop any Jar of Flies album song because i was kinda scared by the album cover LOL, but now I mean the harmonies that you can hear in each of the singer's voices can be so funky that it's awesome. Overall yeah AIC is a good group that I've been getting into. Also, this is kinda related but Cake? Cake and Beastie Boys are also pretty good (a bit new to but w/e I like them!)
