Concerning Substitutions: At any point in time during the week, a team may make a substitution for an inactive player. In order to do this, a manager must post in the thread, tagging the hosts, the opposing managers and the opposing player stating which player is substituting out, and which player is substituting in. A player that has substituted out for a week cannot be substituted back in. In addition, in order to catch any attempts at garnering favorable matchups (where the lineup you choose affects pairings), all substitutions are subject to veto by the hosts if the substitution is suspected to be attempting to “game” the system.

Monopoke additionally does not count for Weekly Standings, its purely a for-fun slot. I'll update the players for slots when they get chosen, for those without players immediately.

SM Bo5: TheShadowClaw vs Kentari - (HL) MMMMMMMM this could easily go either way. Both some of SM 1v1's greatest in multiple eras. I think TSC should take this one as long as he takes note of Kentari's love of Choice Scarves
SM Bo5: Lancer Fr vs XSTATIC COLD - (HL) extremely tight series. If I weren't forced to do so by predict rules, I wouldn't bold either here. I think the winner will be decided by the prep core, which both sides have in ample supply.
ORAS Bo5: Joker 1v1 vs Mubs - rhyps are safe safe at this point so joker rly isn't obliged to tryhard much at all until playoffs now, to which I feel that a joker with nothing to lose is arguably joker at his most dangerous
BW Bo5: eblurb vs philisteen - (HL) blurb's going in with something to prove and his opponent's someone with very strong picks on a team looking to claw their way into playoffs. This'll be an uphill battle for him, but nothing is off the table in bw.
DPP Bo5: 187 Fan vs Trashuny - (HL) while Trashuny was a bit of a sleeper threat without much of a history in 1v1 prior, he's certainly made a name for himself with some big wins in one of the most knowledge-heavy formats of 1v1. While he hasn't rly had a strong win just yet, I can very well see this going to g5.

SS Bo5: Waylaid vs zio - (HL) just a gut feeling. I feel like a stressed tryhard zio plays worse than he does casually, and suffice to say he's def under a lot of pressure given current standings and how much building he has to aid in.
SS Bo5: lvl100Blaziken vs DenisTheMenace - I underestimated the frag man. It's still Denis so anything can happen, but momentum as of late shows a clear preference.
SM Bo5: LBDC vs Freddy Kyogre - (HL) Freddy had a really nice reverse 3-0 vs squirtell last week and I'm really glad to see the innovation with stuff like that dragonium zygarde. Good prep goes a long way, and if they keep it up, I wouldn't be surprised to see another win against another strong opponent.
SM Bo5: Bopher vs Satanic Beast - (HL) both winners of different SM tours. Momentum is definitely on the side of Bopher, but some of that building from the Freddy win would go a long way.
ORAS Bo5: Scraftionite vs DezShizzels - Scraft's great, but I feel like his motivation's been low thus far. ORAS can always go either way, but in this case I feel like Dez wants the win more than Scraft.
BW Bo5: Sanshokuinsumireko vs Ryenix - another one that can really go either way. My gut says this one will boil down to whoever can out-matchup the other, to which you gotta give the edge to the side with three BW builders. That said, I feel like Sansho is still a better picker than Ryenix, so as long as he preps with teams that don't really have a lot of weaknesses, I can see this going in his favor.
DPP Bo5: Synonimous vs STABLE - I think syn's starting to find his groove again, though this could very well still go either way.

SS Bo7: Murman0064 vs crucify - (HL) Murman's def shown he's more of a threat than I would have thought, though I feel in a bo7 setting he may get in his own head too much. I would actually give the edge to him if he can keep a cool head during the series, but that's tough to say.

I'm thinking this one will boil down to who can out-heat each other, to which I'm feeling somewhat inclined to give the edge to OM due to his experience and having other people on the team to help with building, though LRXC has been picking up the jankier side of ORAS at a rapid pace, so anything is possible.

SS Bo7: Nalei vs tears bomb gave tears a humbling check last week; while I still think he's strong, his strength lies into being able to cteam and outprep his opponents in spectacular fashion but then Nalei pulls up with fucking tyrunt and bellossom fuck you Nalei how the fuck do you win with this shit I hate you I hope you lose 4-0 this week next week your team accidentally makes playoffs so you can get 4-0 again both in semis, semis tiebreakers, finals and then in finals tiebreakers Rosa makes the nonsensical decision to slot you again in Bo7 and you end up being the last decisive game and you go up 3-0 and GET REVERSE 4-0D then permabanned from Smogon for absolute unviability.
SS Bo5: Rellia vs smely socks damn this is a nice match-up to see, but it would've been even nicer if both weren't 1-4. Whatever happens one of the two goes 1-5, and I hope its smely cause Rellia would cry irl but my gut tells me otherwise
