Its great typing and decent overall bulk give it ample opportunity to keep itself and its teammates healthy while checking threats like Gabite and Alolan Persian. Well-Baked Body also lets Dachsbun switch into Fire-types like Charizard and Houndoom as well as absorb Will-O-Wisp from Misdreavus and Charizard, all of which threaten other Wish passers like Leafeon. Body Press prevents Steel-types from walling Dachsbun and also gets stronger if Well-Baked Body has already been triggered. Play Rough is good coverage alongside Body Press and hits Misdreavus, but Roar can be used instead to force setup sweepers like Gogoat and Carbink out as well as rack up chip damage if entry hazards are up. Copycat can be used to copy entry hazards from Pokemon like Whiscash as well as beat certain setup sweepers like Iron Defense Carbink one-on-one. Tera Steel lets Dachsbun absorb Steel- and Poison-type attacks and gives it an edge against Pokemon such as Sludge Bomb Houndoom, Articuno, and Indeedee-F. Dachsbun can run 64 Speed EVs to outspeed neutral-natured Honchkrow at the cost of some bulk.
