4 - Auction Info and Other Rules

The auction will take place on (TBD) in a groupchat on Pokemon Showdown! Managers will have 100k credits to draft a minimum of 10 players (8 starters, 2+ substitutes). Managers will also have the option to buy themselves for 12k. There will be no midseason or retains. Managers can make trades, but only within 24 hours of the auction. If a player completely quits on their team, refuses to play, or in some other way "cancers" (eg. refusing to play for a specific manager, throwing games), a sellback will be considered pending host approval. This will not apply to forum bans, but it will apply to tourbans that arise from unrelated tournaments.
The playoffs will be a top 3 structure, where the first place team moves directly to finals while the second and third place team play in semifinals.
This post may be updated if any rules were forgot or added, but I will notify managers if anything new comes up.

Despite the sub, OminousDraco receives the activity win over Evigaro/mirbro. The scheduled time was missed by 2 hours and the sub was made too late for ominous to play.
There was also another illegal mon used in ORAS, but the user lost anyway. Still, there's a team validator for all the old gens just made by SBPC so please use that to avoid these issues.

Standings after Week 2

Standings after Week 4

1. Fiery Flamencos / Humilau Hakamo-os | 7 | (3/0/1) | (22-10)
3. Seductive Spindas | 4 | (1/1/2) | (15-17)
4. Sovereign Swannas | 3 | (1/2/1) | (14-18)
5. Dragon Dancing Delibirds | 2 | (1/3/0) | (13-19)
5. TCB Basculins | 1 | (0/3/1) | (10-22)

Playoffs scenarios are shockingly easy so I'll put them here for you guys. Flamencos and Hakamo-os are in, there's 1 more week and you can only get 2 points per week and they're 3 points behind the next best team that should be pretty obvious. They're also playing each other so that'll determine who gets the first seed into finals and who has to stick around for semifinals. This is what makes knowing the scenarios so simple, the result of Flamencos vs Hakamo-os doesn't matter for who makes it into playoffs. Oh and the Basculins are completely mathematically eliminated. As for the third contender between Swannas, Spindas, and Delibirds:

If Spindas win vs the Delibirds, they're in regardless of the result of Swannas vs Basculins.
If Spindas tie the Delibirds and Swannas win vs the Basculins, then Swannas are in if they win by a 6-2, 7-1, or 8-0 margin but play a tiebreaker with Spindas if they win 5-3 since that gives them the same W/L and points.
If Spindas tie the Delibirds and Swannas lose to or tie with the Basculins, then the Spindas are in.
If Spindas lose to the Delibirds and the Swannas win vs the Basculins, then the Swannas are in.
If Spindas lose to the Delibirds and Swannas tie the Basculins, then Delibirds are in if Spindas lose 2-6, 1-7, or 0-8 and there's a three-way tiebreaker between Delibirds, Swannas, and Spindas if the Delibirds win 5-3.
If Spindas lose to the Delibirds and Swannas lose to the Basculins, then the Delibirds are in if they win by 6-2, 7-1, or 8-0, and play a tiebreaker with Spindas if it's a 5-3 win.

re: LordST vs Plas
There were allegations that Krokorok is not legal in the tier given that it shows up on some lists of legal Pokemon but not on others. Krokorok is a legal Pokemon. I wish tier lists were completely sorted out before tournaments like these but there's only so much that I can do not being involved in the tier.

Standings after Week 5 (pre-tiebreakers)

1. Fiery Flamencos / Humilau Hakamo-os | 8 | (3/0/2) | (26-14)
3. Dragon Dancing Delibirds | 4 | (2/3/0) | (18-22)
3. Seductive Spindas / Sovereign Swannas | 4 | (1/2/2) | (18-22)
6. TCB Basculins | 1 | (0/3/1) | (10-22)

A few notes on the mechanics of this 3-way tiebreaker since this is an issue that very rarely comes up: I will give it a Sunday deadline since there's more games to prep and also almost every team is involved in some tiebreaker so it's not taking away from much playtime (sorry Basculins). Players will be allowed to play in both series (i.e. Aaronboyer can play BW for the Delibirds vs the Spindas and the Swannas, or even BW in one and SM in the other) but not required to. Absolute number of wins is no longer a factor (if the Spindas win 3-0 and the Delibirds and Swannas win 2-1, the tiebreaker continues). If all 3 teams are tied on wins as well, we'll do another tiebreaker of bo1 USUM ZU between the 3 teams until one player manages to win 2 games. This is essentially following what happened in WCOP 2019 except with one less slot being fought over.
