Great submissions to those of you who did. Once Pinsir gets off an SD or Z-Me First, it's looking to sweep. That just spells doom for much of the meta so having something like Gourgeist-XL to deal with it is helpful.

Week 4
Alright folks, the next mon that needs some love is.................

Electivire is easily the go-to choice for a Choice Scarf. Because of this, it is becoming more and more predictable as to pick a switch-in. Some people are running something different like a Z-move or an Expert Belt, but a scarf is usually what it's running. So, give this thing some love.

Floatzel @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power Grass
- Focus Blast

Floatzel puts pressure on Ground/Rock type Pokemon that threaten Electivire. Electivire can use Volt Switch to put Floatzel in a good position.

Swanna @ Waterium Z
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hurricane
- Surf
- Defog
- Rain Dance

Electivire struggles against Ground and Grass-types because of their ability to take its Wild Charge and Volt Switch. Swanna beats these Pokémon and can use them as set up fodder. Swanna's main weakness is Electric which pairs very well with Electivire's immunity. Electivire is also able to weaken Water-types which wall Swanna.

Leafeon @ Normalium Z
Ability: Leaf Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Leaf Blade
- Knock Off
- Double-Edge

Leafeon takes care of ground and rock types like Golem, Sandslash while also having a natural high defense stats. Electivire covers the flying weakness of Leafeon and can also take care of fire and ice types with its coverage moves like EQ and CC.

z3ll1 [old]

Banned deucer.
Furfrou @ Choice Band
Ability: Fur Coat
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Return
- U-turn
- Facade
- Grass Knot

CB Furfrou forms a powerful Voltturn core with Scarf Evire and lures common checks to it, like Golem, while also wearing down other Ground-types like Sandslash.

0- SpA Furfrou Grass Knot (120 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Golem: 312-368 (85.7 - 101%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO after Leftovers recovery

252 Atk Choice Band Furfrou Return vs. 252 HP / 160+ Def Sandslash: 132-156 (37.2 - 44%) -- 99.9% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

Are you tired of your Electivire coming just short of nabbing those KOs on things like Shiftry and Golem before getting revenge killed? Maybe you just want a Pokemon that can really deal with these specific threats while also being a fine choice for a defensive Pokemon in general.

Shiinotic @ Leftovers
Ability: Effect Spore
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Spore
- Strength Sap
- Giga Drain
- Moonblast

Behold, Shiinotic! With this handy dandy set you can wall most sets of Shiftry (unless you are facing one of those weirdos who runs Z-Hurricane) and scare bulkier Ground types like Golem with coverage. Electivire can also bring this magic mushroom with its Volt Switch and heavily threaten the Flying Types that can break through our friend here.

Silvally-Water @ Water Memory
Ability: RKS System
EVs: 248 HP / 100 SpA / 160 Spe
Timid Nature
- Surf
- Thunderbolt
- U-turn
- Defog

Silvally-Water forms a nice little VoltTurn core with Electivire and can help deal with the Ground types that give Vire trouble like Golem, Sandslash, Groundvally, and Camerupt. It can also deal with the bulkier Crustle. Electivire on the other hand can take Electric moves for Watervally.

Alright guys, Electivire needs some love so what's it going to be?

Week 5
Our next mon that needs some love is................

Bronzor is easily one of the best rockers in the meta next to Golem, Sandslash, and Crustle. While it is very passive, it can still wall stuff like special Swanna, non-SD Silvally-Fighting, among other things. So, while it can come in on plenty of mons in the meta, there are still quite a few things that it cannot do that with. Which ones you ask? Your submissions will say so! Good luck =)

Mareanie @ Eviolite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Recover
- Scald
- Toxic Spikes
- Haze

Mareanie is a nice partner for Bronzor. Mareanie takes care of physical attackers and Bronzor of special attackers. Bronzor also covers the ground and psychic weakness of Mareanie and can lay with it multiple hazards.

Best Gal

once upon a time wont last forever
Vibrava (M) @ Eviolite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Defog
- U-turn
- Roost
- Earthquake

Vibrava makes for a good partner with Bronzor, covering its' weakness to Fire and giving a helpful immunity to Electric moves which can help against annoying Volt Switchers and more notably, Electivire. In turn, Bronzor covers all of Vibrava's weaknesses (Ice, Fairy, and Dragon) perfectly. Together they allow for a strong defensive core that controls hazards and has great longevity. The only major drawback is a slightly nerve-wracking susceptibility to Knock Off.

Muk @ Leftovers
Ability: Sticky Hold
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Curse
- Poison Jab

Muk appreciates Bronzor setting up rocks and walling its only weaknesses in Ground and Psychic types such as Golem or Kadabra that threaten its sweep. In turn, Muk can switch into Knock Off without fear of getting its item removed, which Bronzor (and usually a lot of Bronzor's preferred teammates) relies on.
