Reserving mesprit :3

Mesprit @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Energy Ball
- Ice Beam
- Signal Beam
- Psyshock

I totally forgot about this, sorry shade :x But here's my submission
I was going to go for cm mes, but I feel as is this team doesn't really require a set-up mon, more something to punch holes in whatever switches in. Mesprit helps break down special walls for tauros to sweep/clean late-game with the help of spikes.

Audino @ Audinite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Dazzling Gleam
- Fire Blast
- Grass Knot

Offensive Audino provides a neat glue to the team that can threaten balance teams with CM + good coverage and is bulky enough to tank almost any unboosted move and retaliate if needed. I think Grass Knot is more important than Surf for this team since Gastrodon walls so many members, and you can't afford to give up much else.

Yogibears wins, congrats!
sorry for the wait on this, wanted to get a team which included one of the new drops to NU. They dropped today and I built a cool squad that desperately needs a 6th team member!

The team is based around a core of SD Knock Off Scyther, Ferroseed and Xatu. Those three work very well together, but do need something to take on Rotom, and switch into Fire-types. Lanturn seemed like a great fit as it also completed a Volt-turn core with Scyther and Xatu. Lastly, I added a Gurdurr as it seemed like a great fit, being a cool wincon and being able to switch into Status too.

Scyther @ Eviolite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Roost

Ferroseed @ Eviolite
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Bullet Seed
- Gyro Ball

Xatu (F) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 248 HP / 220 Def / 40 Spe
Bold Nature
- Heat Wave
- Psychic
- Roost
- U-turn

Lanturn (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 40 HP / 156 Def / 204 SpD / 108 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Volt Switch
- Heal Bell
- Protect

Gurdurr @ Eviolite
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 192 Atk / 64 Def
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Knock Off
- Bulk Up

Submission Stage will end shortly after the weekend.

rip
lets move on to the next week:
This weeks team features an interesting and in my opinion underrated Pokemon in SubSeed Gourgeist-Small, as well as some other threats such as Scarf Mesprit and Pyroar.

Pyroar @ Life Orb
Ability: Unnerve

Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA
- Fire Blast

- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Will-O-Wisp

Gourgeist-Small @ Leftovers
Ability: Frisk
EVs: 152 HP / 132 Def / 224 Spe
Jolly Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Will-O-Wisp
- Leech Seed
- Substitute
- Foul Play

Garbodor @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Aftermath
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spikes
- Toxic Spikes
- Gunk Shot
- Focus Blast

Mesprit @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- U-turn

Team feels like it needs another water check, as so much of the team can give free turns to stuff like Samurott, and a good wincon. Additionally I felt like the team could use some sort of psychic resist or immunity, so Shiftry is a natural choice.

Shiftry @ Black Glasses
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Leaf Blade
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch

I chose a SD set as it provides a cool wincon for the team, and there is not a pressing need for it to wallbreak with the mixed set, making this set slightly more efficient for the team. Additionally, with spikes support, if it gets to set up, a +2 sucker hits like a freight train, which really helps it to clean, and a +2 seed bomb helps to break hariyama for pyroar to clean up. Its fighting weakness is easily covered by garbodor, mesprit, and gourgeist, and most of its other weaknesses are covered by regirock, although it only serves to enhance the team's nasty ice weakness, which could be a major issue.

Golurk @ Passho Berry
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock / Ice Punch
- Shadow Punch
- Earthquake
- Thunder Punch

This team definitely needs a water check but also something for psychic type mons. Passho Thunder Punch Golurk is a pretty cool lure that can revenge kill many water mons, but it also softly checks a good amount of Psychic-type pokemon.
Probably not the best suggestion but it seems fun.

Skuntank @ Black Sludge
Ability: Aftermath
EVs: 180 Atk / 88 Def / 176 SpD / 64 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Defog
- Poison Jab
- Pursuit

I think this build needs a psychic check and hazard control to help Pyroar in the fire spaming. Skuntank can fill these roles. The spread is bulky, 64Spe hits 220, then skunk can control treats like Aboma or Lapras, cause both really pressure the team. 88EV Def allows it to survive LO-Tauros' EQ. Moveset is classic, Pursuit traps psychic types, and sucker is better than Crunch, cause the team doesn't have any priority move.

quziel wins woohoo!
time for a new team, fresh from my teambuilder.

The team features a solid FWG core with SS Barbaracle + Torterra + Magmortar, dealing with a bunch of common threats in the meta. Special Skuntank is mainly there to deal with Garbodor as the team is really annoyed by Toxic Spikes and other hazards in general. Also deals with Rotom. the Gastrodon is a nice back-bone to the team and can handle so many attackers such as Charizard and Magmortar.
Barbaracle @ White Herb
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Shell Smash
- Razor Shell
- Return

Torterra @ Leftovers
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Atk / 128 Def
Adamant Nature
- Wood Hammer
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Synthesis

Magmortar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Vital Spirit
EVs: 96 HP / 252 SpA / 160 Spe
Modest Nature
- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Earthquake

Skuntank @ Black Sludge
Ability: Aftermath
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Defog

Gastrodon @ Leftovers
Ability: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP / 220 Def / 36 Spe
Impish Nature
- Scald
- Earthquake
- Recover
- Toxic

Submission Stage ends on Tuesday!

Mismagius @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Taunt
- Hex
- Memento

Mismagius is a pretty obvious choice for this squad since it provides an immunity to Normal, Fighting, and Ground attacks, which the team is pretty weak to. Not only that, it can spinblock for Garbodor to help Barbaracle and Magmortar while also contributing Memento support to allow an easy Shell Smash for Barbaracle.

Wow that's a p nice build we got here ! I think the problems here are fightning types like Gurdurr. The only thing you can do is bringing gastro and activating Guts. As Stoned M&M said, ground immunity sounds good. Normal spam isn't a huge problem, Barbaracle can set up on Swellow, and Torterra + Gastro walls all the others. So, the mon I suggest is...

Xatu @ Rocky Helmet / Colbur Berry
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 248 HP / 244 Def / 16 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- U-turn
- Roost
- Heat Wave

Okey, Xatu is a classic mon, everybody loves/hates it, but it seems to be a great option in this build. It provides a great fightning check, ground immu, second hazard control, and the momentum with U-Turn. I love RH on Xatu, but Colbur is also a great item, cause Knock Off is a problematic move for the team.

Mesprit @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock / Psychic
- Signal Beam
- Ice Beam / Hidden Power Ground

This team needs a Fighting- and Ground-type resist and offensive Mesprit does this decently while also acting as a Malamar check and helping to break through teams so that Barbaracle can sweep more efficiently. There's enough physical bulk on the team to get away with running an offensive set, and I went for the Calm Mind set so that Mesprit could still take a Knock Off if necessary, but Choice Specs would also be a good choice here.

Rotom @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Trick

One thing this team lacks is a way to revenge kill Pokemon like Vivillon which can put a lot of pressure on the team's defensive core. A Scarfer is a good way to remedy that problem, and Rotom is the best Scarfer in the tier. It's also pretty useful synergy-wise because currently the team's Normal and Flying resist is Gastrodon.
