A recent discovery in Klam's Labyrinth of U. Dunder Oozed has revealed a sealed journal belonging to the infamous Captain Ursula S.V. Upshaw. Her storied travels were considered children's myths until this actual relic was uncovered by the 973rd Expeditionary Force. For the first time in our storied history, we are receiving a direct, personal glimpse into the captain's travels. And the findings are remarkable....

CHAPTER II: 20,000 Farm Premier Leagues Under the Sea
As I was resting on the sun filled deck, Gengardo smacked my face with the sail curtain, which very much aggravated me. Ever since this Gengar joined my crew he's been nothing but nonsense. We had been at sea for 4 weeks, 3 days, and 19 hours now in search of "La Ninapinta Maria", an ancient sailing vessel rumored to possess much treasure, but also much mystery. And even though we were able to upgrade our Swan Paddle Boat to this new Fisherman's Boat, I cannot help but think we are not as well equipped as a crew should be for such a dangerous mission. As we sailed towards what could only seem like the sun itself, Doctor Quagson spotted something! Another ship, full of hot blooded pirates singing soft melodies as their cannons fire off towards kraken sized sea titans!Chapter Fight 2.1 - Bombs Away!

The epic battle witnessed brought explosions! Waves! A magnificent fiery airstream! All of it was totally destructive as our kayak was now in flames! We were nowhere near land, but could smell the smoke of death filling our lungs. We needed to enter the ocean. Luckily I packed 3 juice boxes and some snorkeling gear, so Quagson, Gengardo, and myself jumped into the water as our boat exploded and disappeared. With no land in sight, swimming in any direction was futile. And since we could not fly, the only direction to go was down. Down into the sea, deep in the its blue depths. And as we dove down, Gengardo asked me about La Ninpinta Maria, the ancient treasure ship we were tasked to find. Doctor Quagson handed me the Dirge of the Seas vol 9 as I read the story of Past versus Future - Noble Knights of a fabled kingdom aboard their treasured vessel as they faced futuristic assassins of unknown origin set on making off with the booty. It was called "La Battalia of Dragones y Aranas."

I finished reading the story and wished Gengardo a good night. But he is nocturnal and refused to sleep. So now as we stayed awake and descended into the deep purple ocean with our snorkeling gear, we located a sunken vessel! It was large enough to be the vessel of legends - The Ninapinta Maria! But something was not right... an ominous presence permeated the sunken ship walls. And this time it was not Gengardo. It was a specter of the past - a spirit rife with hate and vengeance! Fluttering about the ship with its mane, I spotted it! The horror was undeniable - we were clearly not the first to enter its domain. I could see remnants of divers whose mission had failed. Would this be our failure as well? Just as many others before us? As we stood there, underwater on the fallen, splintered deck, suddenly I saw others. Locusts and shrews. We were not the only ones in search of this treasure! Perhaps together we could free the vessel of this evil spirit?

The spirit was not vanquished - we would never acquire the treasure hidden below deck! But suddenly, something felt different. I could see the Flutter Mane gaze into my soul. What happened next is rather hard to explain. It was as if it was analyzing all of my past misdeeds, judging me for them, and deciding my punishment. If this was true for all the crew, then Gengardo was in big trouble. But after two and a half hours of this, the Flutter Mane smiled and disappeared. The doors below deck were open. Alas, the treasure could be ours! I did need to remind the crew the treasure would be used for research purposes, not to stuff our pockets. But other adventurers, clad in olive dressing and segmented super suits, were suddenly racing to the doors to acquire it for themselves!

Finally all adventurers agreed on a fair and split partition of the treasure. We were to receive one Head of the Serpent figuring, three Platinum Bottle Openers, five golden rings, a silver statue of Kermit the Frog, and, most magnificent of all, the Pearl of Lost Returns. Much has been told of this ancient treasure... and so we are now to return to Dr. Wily at the base to review our findings.
