Tinkaton @ Leftovers
Ability: Mold Breaker
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 84 Atk / 172 SpD
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Knock Off
- Gigaton Hammer
- Encore

It's hammer time down in UU! Knock Off lets Tinkaton force foes like Quagsire and Talonflame to quickly burn through their recovery PP after losing their items. Gigaton Hammer hits common threats like Slither Wing, Staraptor, and Gengar for massive damage. Encore locks setup sweepers and recovery users like Swords Dance Bisharp and Lucario and Roost Talonflame into undesirable moves. 84 Attack EVs let Tinkaton OHKO Gengar after Stealth Rock with Gigaton Hammer; the bulk investment lets Tinkaton better take hits from Gengar, Polteageist, and Noivern. Tera Ghost lets Tinkaton block Rapid Spin from Tsareena and acts as an emergency check to Fighting-types like Slither Wing and Lucario, but Tinkaton's original typing is usually more valuable against the aforementioned special attackers as well as other foes like Maushold, Staraptor, and Grafaiai. Gastrodon and Talonflame are wonderful teammates; Gastrodon forms an entry hazard-stacking core with Spikes and helps out against Gengar and Noivern, and Talonflame beats Fighting-types like Hawlucha and Lucario.

It's hammer time down in UU! Tinkaton is a phenomenal utility Pokemon in UU because of its amazing Fairy + Steel typing and access to great utility moves like due to having Stealth Rock, Knock Off, and Encore (wanted to bring up its typing which is why it is so good). Gigaton Hammer is a phenomenal move with 160 base power that limits Tinkaton's passivity by threatening foes like Slither Wing, Staraptor, and Gengar for massive damage. hammers down the opposition. Knock Off removes items such as Leftovers from Quagsire and Heavy-Duty Boots from Talonflame, forcing them to burn their recovery PP much quicker. Choice Scarf from Staraptor. more relevant example Encore locks Pokémon attempting to take advantage of Tinkaton into moves they don’t want to be locked into, such as Swords Dance for Bisharp and Lucario or Roost for Talonflame. 84 Attack EVs are run to guarantee an OKHO on Gengar after Stealth Rock with Gigaton Hammer, with the remaining investment in bulk to better take hits from Gengar, Polteageist, and Noivern. Tera Ghost is ran to block Rapid Spin from Tsareena, and act as an emergency check to Fighting-types like Slither Wing and Lucario, and Foretress and to remove its Ground weakness, improving its matchup against Sandy Shocks and Tyranitar, but Tinkaton's typing is too valuable anyway versus the aforementioned special attackers as well as others like Maushold, Staraptor, and Grafaiai. the main reason for tera ghost is vs fighting types and the ground-types part just takes up extra space, plus saying we shouldn't really tera it is important so cutting that limits word count.
if you can fit it, bring up gastrodon and talon as great teammates, the former forming a hazard stacking core and helping Tink not be overwhelmed by Gengar and Noivern while the latter beats Fighting-types like lucha and lucario
QC 1/1 nice work
