Looks like i'm breaking the tie and going with TotomonGang's submission, good job! Onto the next week!

Week 27: - Mandibuzz

:ss/mandibuzz:

Mandibuzz @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 248 HP / 164 Def / 96 Spe
Careful Nature
- Foul Play
- Knock Off / Brave Bird
- U-turn
- Roost

Mandibuzz functions as a solid defensive pivot able to switch into the likes of Aegislash, Excadrill and Hydreigon just to name a few. With the ability Overcoat its able to switch into Amoonguss and Tangrowth and absorb a potential Spore or Sleep Powder respectively. While it's stellar bulk and utility is much appreciated, it fails to check a number of Pokemon like Thundurus-T, Mienshao and Conkeldurr well so a partner is needed! Who will you pair with the vulture? 5 days to submit!

Starmie @ Life Orb
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Surf / Hydro Pump
- Blizzard
- Psychic
- Recover

Offensive Starmie pairs with Mandibuzz to offensively check many of the offensive threats (is that too many "offensives"?) Mandibuzz doesn't like dealing with, such as :mienshao: Mienshao, :conkeldurr: Conkeldurr, :keldeo: Keldeo, :thundurus-therian: Thundurus-Therian, :lycanroc-dusk: Lycanroc-Dusk, :nihilego: Nihilego, :moltres: Moltres, :nidoking: Nidoking, :rhyperior: Rhyperior, and Dragon Dance :salamence: Salamence. Blizzard was chosen over Ice Beam to ensure the OHKO on Thundurus-Therian, and Psychic was chosen over Thunderbolt to allow Starmie to deal with the Fighting-types that threaten Mandibuzz. Finally, either Hydro Pump or Surf can be used for the Water STAB, depending on whether you value consistency or power more (I would personally go for Surf on this particular Starmie to make up for Blizzard's low accuracy).

:DP/Roserade:
Roserade @ Black Sludge
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 240 SpD / 16 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Bomb
- Leaf Storm
- Spikes
- Synthesis

So Buzzington is gone and Roserade is sort of high and dry against Pokemon like Zygarde in particular. Mandibuzz just gives Roserade a new partner to deal with that while also providing Knock Off support for Roserade's Spikes while also hindering targets like Celesteela. Roserade also makes Pokemon like Primarina easier to deal with for Mandibuzz between the STABs and hazards.

:Slowking: @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Scald
- Psychic
- Slack Off
- Teleport

This allows you to check threats such as mienshao, celesteela, lycanroc-d, rhyperior and opposing slowking. Mandibuzz takes attacks from grass, dark, and ghost type attacks from pokemon such as gyarados, hydreigon, and tapu bulu

scorbunnys

Don't dream your life, but live your dream. #Bunny
Excadrill @ Leftovers
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rapid Spin
- Swords Dance

Mandibuzz hates Fairy-Types (Primarina, Togekiss, Sylveon) and Excadrill is an ok offensive check to all of them. It also gives the team a wincond with Rapid Spin + Swords Dance, allowing it to break through stuff while also offering secondary Hazzard removal if Mandi is Defog. Overall a quite good partner that should be used alongside it!
Also, I think Amoonguss/CM Sylveon could fit very nicely here, as the core is quite weak to Primarina and they both are (to me) two good Prima answers. CM Sylv is also a wincond and Among Us (sus) can Spore and it low-key handles a good part of the metagame.

Amoonguss @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 220 Def / 36 SpD
Bold Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Foul Play
- Spore

Amoonguss makes a great partner for mandibuzz, being able to pivot into electric and fairy type attacks for it

Apologies for being late, but it appears as though Mystras Leoxses has won the round with Roserade! Great work, onto the next week!

Week 28: - Scarf Hydreigon

:ss/Hydreigon:

Hydreigon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Draco Meteor
- U-turn
- Fire Blast / Roost

Hydreigon is a fantastic Choice Scarf user capable of revenge killing threats like Zygarde-10% and Dragon Dance Gyarados while also being a great pivot, being able to pivot out to teammates that can take advantage of its common switchins like Azumarill, Chansey and Primarina. Of course, there are a lot of problems with being quad-weak to Fairy and weak to Fighting in a metagame like this, so it needs the aid of a partner! Will your partner be a terrifying wallbreaker able to wreak havoc with its pivoting support, or something that can aid it defensively? 5 days to submit!

:ss/Jirachi:

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 40 SpD / 216 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- U-turn
- Stealth Rock
- Wish

Jirachi acts as a sturdy buffer against the Fairy-types that Hydreigon doesn't want to deal with. It is also able to get Hydreigon in safely with U-Turn support, heal Hydreigon with Wishes, and set up Stealth Rock to make Hydreigon's hits sting more. In return, Hydreigon threatens offensive Pokemon that pressure Jirachi such as Aegislash and Moltres as well as defensive Pokemon that take advantage of Jirachi being unable to damage them much, such as Slowking and Swampert.

Aegislash @ Life Orb
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Sneak
- Close Combat
- Shadow Claw

SD Aegislash is a solid offensive core with Scarf Hydreigon, as it can switch in and threaten the special walls that pivot into Hydra, such as Chansey, AV Tangrowth, Primarina and Sylveon. It also appreciates U-Turn support from Hydreigon to keep up momentum and pressure on the opposing team.

:ss/mienshao:
Mienshao @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Poison Jab

Hydreigon forms a beautiful pair with Shao, by Hydra being the scarfer it removes the need for it on shao and it can unlock its full potential with the boost of Life Orb. The form a nice U-Turn spam core that brings each other on things they hate like Shao luring skarm and phys def tang while Hydra U-Turns on Chansey and Spdef Drill. They are able to overwhelm their shared like Amoonguss with repeated hits and fairy types especially since Shao lures a ton of them with Poison Jab.

Nihilego @ Black Sludge
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Power Gem
- Sludge Wave
- Knock Off
- Stealth Rock

Nihilego helps hydreigon in the fact it deters fairies and helps it wear down opponents via knock off and stealth rocks, it can also abuse hydreigon's ability to force in pokemon such as assault vest tangrowth, primarina, and tapu bulu.

Slowbro-Galar @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 56 SpA / 200 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psyshock
- Sludge Wave/Sludge Bomb
- Thunder Wave/Scald
- Trick

This thing is pretty tanky especially with Regenerator. It resists the two main types Hydra fears, and can hit them both. It's a 4HKO from Prim's Specs Moonblast, and CC's barely touch it. It also combines well with Hydra's Levitate to swap from Earthquakes. Thunder Wave can slow down any scarfers, or boosted mons, or you could run Scald for another damage option and burn chance. Trick can be used to cripple walls like Chansey or Mandabuzz, and make them take residual damage, and also take Choice Items away from Pokemon too. Sludge Wave has a bit higher Power, but Sludge Bomb has the higher poison chance, so you could run either. I think Psyshock is the best Psychic move for it, since them it can hit Tentacruel, Nihilego and the like for more damage than Psychic could.

Glowbro wins! Onto round 29!

Round 29 - Special Salamence
:ss/salamence:

Salamence @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hurricane
- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower
- Roost

Special Salamence packs quite a punch while also being able to maintain a majority of its defensive utility with its excellent typing, access to relibable recovery in Roost and an amazing ability in Intimidate. Special Salamence is capable of blowing past a lot of common defensive Pokemon like Swampert, Amoonguss and Tangrowth with its powerful moves. However, it can struggle to break through special walls and really despises taking Knock Off, as well as often falling just a tad short of breaking through teams. Thats where our partner comes in! How will you help this dragon soar? 5 days to submit!

:ss/Jirachi:

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 40 SpD / 216 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- U-turn
- Stealth Rock
- Wish

Same set as last time, since it pairs with both Dragons so well. To quote my previous post:
Jirachi acts as a sturdy buffer against the Fairy-types that [Salamence] doesn't want to deal with. It is also able to get [Salamence] in safely with U-Turn support, heal [Salamence] with Wishes, and set up Stealth Rock to make [Salamence]'s hits sting more. In return, [Salamence] threatens offensive Pokemon that pressure Jirachi such as Aegislash and Moltres as well as defensive Pokemon that take advantage of Jirachi being unable to damage them much, such as [Amoonguss, Tangrowth] and [Skarmory].
