Bisharp @ Darkinium Z / Dread Plate
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch

Bisharp has been a high priority offensive threat in UU since it dropped down thanks to the sheer prowess of its Swords Dance set. Its typing allows it to force out prominent offensive threats like Latias, Starmie, and Nihilego in order to set up. Between Sucker Punch allowing Bisharp to deter attempts from the likes of Mega Aerodactyl and Zeraora to revenge kill it and Darkinium Z allowing it to muscle past defensive threats, this set's counterplay is limited mostly to Pokemon capable of tanking a boosted Sucker Punch and revenge killing it, like Hydreigon, Togekiss, and most of the tier's Fighting-types. It's a solid pick on offensive builds because it can act as either a wallbreaker or cleaner, and Defiant helps it keep its team's entry hazards up by discouraging the use of Defog. If Bisharp wishes to clean, it often enjoys Fairy-types like Primarina and Togekiss as teammates for their ability to weaken several Pokemon that it can't break past too reliably, like Infernape and Hydreigon.
