Monotype's Tournament Archive Subforum
This is our metagame's subforum where we will house our old Tournament threads for both official and side tournaments. The main reasoning behind this is to declutter the main forum but still have an organized area to honor our past events. The way the subforum is structured is as follows:
- The Team tag is used to denote our official tournaments that are recorded on the Compiler. These often take the form as one of MPL, Monotype Premier League, MWP, Monotype Winter Premier, or MWC, Monotype World Cup.
- The Side tag is reserved for any other tour that is not added to the Compiler, to put it bluntly. This includes a wide scope of tournaments from the Welcome to SS tournament to Seeded or even one that focuses on a single OM or two. This also could include tournament threads such as Seasonals or MLT before they were hosted in the circuit tournaments forum.
- The Resources tag is applicable to any thread that people can refer to for information. Examples of this may include past Team Tour Replay threads, Team Dumps, and Statistics.
Quick notes regarding how and when we will be adding Tournaments to this subforum:
Once a thread that will be classified as...
- ...Team will be added once its next iteration has began its signups or once a year has passed since Week 1 of said tour had started. The latter coming into effect if the Tournament will not be present for any given year.
- ...Side will be added a week after the tournament concludes. This may vary for side Team Tournaments, such as BLT, and may get a week or two longer. This will be at the discretion of the moderators in the end.
- ...Resources will be added at the same time as the its corresponding tournament that it was for joins the subforum. I.e. the MPL Replays and Standings thread will be added at the same time as the other MPL threads after a year while one for a side tournament will be added a week or two after that tournament has ended.
