Introduction
"The guardian deities, the Tapus, have protected the islands of Alola for many years. The Tapus are also known to determine who is the strongest of them all, testing a trainer's ability whenever they are challenged."

Listening to your guide describing the Tapus only made you more excited to cross paths with them. The guide stops his boat and looks back at you.

"Which island are we heading to?"

It is time for you to decide which Tapu you want to encounter. Do you have what it takes to become the wielder of them all?

RP Overview
RP 1 > RP 2 > Rare Encounter (if triggered) > Guardians > RP 3 > RP 4 > Boss

Scenarios
You tell the guide you want to head towards Ula'ula Island, so the boat heads for it.

The port he docked at is located near an entrance to a forest, which you determine is where you need to go. You run headstrong into the forest leaving the guide to wait at his boat.

Whilst taking in the scenery as you move, a roar bellows from the heart of the forest compelling you to move closer to it. As you journey deeper into the forest, you begin to notice that more and more Pokemon are running past you. You begin worrying, but you are determined to reach the center, so you keep going. Suddenly, a barrage of rocks get hurled at you and your Pokemon, separating you from <Pokemon>! You can see through the minor gaps in the rocks to identify that it is an Alolan Golem who has caused the ruckus, who in preparation for the fight as begun floating. You determine it will take you 2 rounds to get around these rocks.

[REF NOTE: Initiate Trap Encounter vs Golem-A. Arena: Rocky Forest. Trap Moves: Stealth Rock (this is set up before the send-in of the trap target, so it will damage it on the start of the first round), Magnet Rise. Targets: Active Ice-type Pokemon with the lowest Def, if no Active Ice-type Pokemon, then just the Active Pokemon with the lowest Def. In the case of more than one more fulfilling this, randomize between them. After the fight, give Reprieve and proceed to Assault on Nature.]
Having dealt with the Alolan Golem, you carry on, and you begin hearing the sounds of machinery and the faint cries of various Pokemon. When you get closer, you finally begin to understand what is going on. Humans have assaulted the forest with their machinery, and it has angered the Pokemon of the forest. An enormous automated crane is uprooting the trees, destroying the homes of the wild Pokemon with horrifying mechanical indifference. You assess the scene and realize that you and your Pokemon are capable of stopping this, but at the same time, this would take time away from your primary objective. What will you do?

Player Options
a) Stop the machinery
b) Ignore the scene and progress forward

IF a)

You and your Pokemon assault and disassemble the machine, stopping the attack and saving the forest. It does tire your team out a little bit, but at least you know you did the right thing there. Now you can keep going forward, and hopefully there won't be any more obstructions to your plan.

[REF NOTE: Deduct 10 EN from all active Pokemon. Give a Reprieve and then Proceed to Ranch of Strength.]

IF b)

You decide that it isn't worth your time to involve yourself in the efforts to save the environment, and decide it's time to keep moving towards the objective at hand. As you walk forwards, you fall into some sort of hole, but avoid sustaining any damages.

[REF NOTE: Proceed to Deadly Burrow.]
You check your team once more to make sure none of them are missing, and when you look up you are faced with something so large that you can't see it clearly just yet. As it approaches, you flash a light on it, and realize that it is a Pyroak. It assumes a combat stance, and beckons forth one of your Pokemon to duel with. You realize you can't avoid the fight, so you prepare for combat.

[REF NOTE: Initiate Rare Encounter vs Pyroak. Arena: The Burrow]

IF Challenger wins without any of their Pokemon fainting

Pyroak takes a bow as an acknowledgement of your team's dueling prowess. He makes a noise and a signal, which prompts a Flarelm to bring forth a box and give it to you. You open the box, and much to your surprise it contains a Super Potion! Pyroak then signals you through to the back of the burrow, where there is a way out to where you were headed before you fell in, so you follow him back and make your way to the aboveground world again.

[REF NOTE: Challenger gets 1 Super Potion. Give a Reprieve and then Proceed to Ranch of Strength.]

ELSE

Pyroak appears satisfied with the duel, and decides that you are a worthy fighter. Pyroak then signals you through to the back of the burrow, where there is a way out to where you were headed before you fell in, so you follow him back and make your way to the aboveground world again.

[REF NOTE: Give a Reprieve and then Proceed to Ranch of Strength.]
Walking forward, you begin to see a small clearing up ahead. You become quite suspicious of the direction you are headed, but according to the map, you are still headed in the right direction, so you press forward into the clearing. As you arrive, you notice the Mudsdale and Granbull that appear to be training. You observe them before working on a way to try to avoid alerting them of your presence, However, as you take your first steps into the clearing, you break a twig, and Mudsdale and Granbull are both now looking at you intensely. They share a look before charging toward you! You send out your Pokemon to handle these enemies, but you know this won't be an easy fight.

[REF NOTE: Initiate Guardian Encounter vs Mudsdale and Granbull. Arena: Training Grounds. After the fight, Give a Reprieve and then Proceed to Berry Woods.]
After <capturing/defeating> the last of the guardians, you check your map, and press onwards. As you are walking forward you catch the scent of some delectable berries, and your Pokemon rush forward, forcing you to follow them. You take a moment to stop and admire all the berries that are around you. You begin picking some, but you realize very quickly that is not a normal tree. Instead, it's a Trevenant! Having been angered by you trying to pick its berries, it calls forth 2 Phantump, and then charges at your team!

[REF NOTE: Initiate Nest Encounter vs Trevenant and 2x Phantump. Arena: Abundant Woods. After the fight, Give a Reprieve and then Proceed to Fruits of Labor.]
Now that you have dealt with the first of the angry trees, you move forward in hopes of losing them. You stumble upon the entrance to the ruins you have heard so much about. You stop to examine the scenery around you and notice that there are trees loaded with fruit nearby. You see lots of apples and oranges on the various trees. Your Pokemon seem excited to eat some of the fruit, but you are wary of abusing nature's blessings, especially after that scene earlier where you saw nature being torn down. Alas, you know you should make a decision before entering.

Player Options
a) Take some oranges
b) Take some apples
c) Take some oranges and some apples
d) Don't take any fruit

IF a)

You feed your Pokemon some oranges from the nearby trees, then head into the ruins. As you approach you hear the sounds of increasing amounts of giggling Pokemon, but it doesn't deter you and you continue moving forward.

[REF NOTE: All Active Pokemon gain 15 HP. Give a Reprieve, then proceed to Nature's Wrath.]

IF b)

You feed your Pokemon some apples from the nearby trees, then head into the ruins. As you approach you hear the sounds of giggling Pokemon with an accelerating rise in pitch of the giggles, but it doesn't deter you and you continue moving forward.

[REF NOTE: All Active Pokemon gain 15 EN. Give a Reprieve, then proceed to Nature's Wrath.]

IF c)

You feed your Pokemon some fruit from the nearby trees, then head into the ruins. As you approach you hear the sounds of increasing amounts of giggling Pokemon, all of which seem to be rising in pitch, but it doesn't deter you and you continue moving forward.

[REF NOTE: All Active Pokemon gain 15 HP and 15 EN. Give a Reprieve, then proceed to Nature's Wrath.]

IF d)

You decide that it is probably best not to bother with the fruit outside, and make your way inside the ruins, hoping you didn't make the wrong decision.

[REF NOTE: Give a Reprieve, then proceed to Nature's Wrath.]
On the way into the ruin, you notice there is a shining object on the ground. Upon closer examination, you determine that it is the fabled Tapunium Z, the item that allows the 4 Island Guardians to connect with the Guardian of Alola. This means you must be getting close to your target. But do you pick up the crystal?

Player Actions
a) Pick up the Tapunium Z
b) Don't pick up the Tapunium Z

You and your Pokemon enter the ruins, only to realize that at this point it appears like more a field than an actual ruin. You look around a little, and realize that while it's the inside of a ruin, the ceiling was never sealed, giving a sylvan feel to the ruin. As you walk around a little bit, feeling the grass and trying to understand the structure, you spot a orb sitting upon a pedestal. You move over to the orb, and as you get closer it begins pulsing with energy. Shaken by this, you take a step back, and begin to feel the whole ruin shake a little bit, before you are blinded by a white light. When you open your eyes, you see the creature of legend that you came here for, Tapu Bulu, and it is accompanied by a Gogoat. Tapu Bulu cultivates the land he stands on, and then releases a roar, issuing the final challenge. Knowing this is what you came for, there's no chance you're backing down.

IF a) was chosen earlier this RP

Before the battle starts, Tapu Bulu glows with a golden hue. You wonder what could be causing it, but you soon realize once you notice that the Tapunium Z that was once in your bag is now floating above Tapu Bulu. This fight just got a bit more serious, but you are still firm in your stance to finally capture yourself a Tapu Bulu.

[REF NOTE: Initiate Boss Encounter vs Tapu Bulu and Gogoat. Arena: Ruins of Abundance.]
