Thanks to Vessel of Ruin, it can slow down the metagame's special attacking compositions, like Farigiraf + Ursaluna-B and Flutter Mane + Chi-Yu. These traits make for a good supportive attacker and defensive wall.

* Ting-Lu synergizes well with bulky disruptive Pokemon that can take advantage of Vessel of Ruin. Dondozo is the perfect example, as it appreciates Vessel of Ruin to more easily set up Yawns in combination with Ting Lu's Sand Tomb. Ting Lu's typing makes it weak to many of the strong physical attackers in the format, such as both Urshifu formes, Rillaboom, and the various Ogerpon formes, meaning it appreciates Incineroar's Intimidate and Amoonguss's redirection.

Also, I've put supportive movepool there, you may want to explain a few it has access to or what kinda vein its supporting in Thanks to Vessel of Ruin, it can slow down the metagame's special attacking compositions, like Farigiraf + Ursaluna-B and Flutter Mane + Chi-yu.

* Ting-Lu synergizes well with other bulky Pokemon so Vessel of Ruin makes them even more difficult to remove thanks to Vessel of Ruin further increasing their bulk Sounded kinda weird, phrase how you wan). Kommo-o is the perfect example, as the combination of Vessel of Ruin and Iron Defense makes Kommo-o difficult to remove and allows for a sweep Vessel of Ruin helps it set up Iron Defenses more easily. Another bulky pokemon that appreciates it's lower special bulk being patched up by Vessel of Ruin is Solo Dondozo also appreciates Ting Lu's added bulk, who can click also being able to set up deadly Yawn's when paired with Sand Tomb from Ting Lu several times in combination with Ting Lu's Sand Tomb to prevent opponents from switching out. Porygon-2 is another notable mention as the extra defense is even more potent thanks to Recover stalling, as well as setting Trick Room. as it is another pokemon made tough to remove with Vessel of Ruin active and can set Trick Room for more offensive Ting Lu sets to shine. Expanded a bit on what you were saying, it felt kinda weird to say its physical defenses are strong at the start then say its weak to physical attackers. TBH you can move Incin/Amoonguss to the above paragraph, and axe Kommo/P2, its really out of style right now. Ting Lu struggles with passivity, its vulnerable to being overwhelmed or weakened by Intimidate easily, relying on partners to make up for its damage. van also struggle to do damage, especially after an Intimidate so powerful offensive sweepers with ways to mitigate intimidate like Dragonite or Gouging Fire or sweepers with setup moves like the aforementioned Kommo-o are relied upon to make up for Ting Lu's relative passivity.

Poison can also be used as it provides a resistance to Flutter Mane's Moonblast, the STAB moves of Rillaboom, and Close Combat from the Urshifu formes. It also becomes neutral to Water-type attacks from Urshifu-R and Ogerpon-W. (This makes Poison sound like the better tera type, with I honestly agree with. Are you sure about this order?)
