Ting-Lu serves as a fantastic hazard setter; its massive bulk, in tandem with Vessel of Ruin, access to both Stealth Rock and Spikes, and acceptable longevity makes it a solid Pokemon in the metagame. It notably performs well against strong offensive threats like Raging Bolt and Darkrai. Ruination deals noteworthy damage Pokemon that would otherwise exploit Ting-Lu consistently like Landorus-T, Ferrothorn, and Zamazenta. Spikes can be used over Stealth Rock to pressure grounded Pokemon that check Ting-Lu like the aforementioned Zamazenta and Iron Valiant. Whirlwind is essential to check and phaze out set up sweepers like Volcarona, Tornadus-T, and Gouging Fire while complementing Ting-Lu's tendency to stack entry hazards, letting it chip other teammates on the opposing side throughout a game. Alternative options on Ting-Lu such as Stone Edge are usable over Ruination to threaten foes like Mega Charizard Y, Tornadus-T, and Volcarona. Tera Ghost lets Ting-Lu check Fighting-type Pokemon it would otherwise have problems facing, like Zamazenta and Great Tusk, notably spinblocking the latter, though leaving it Pursuit weak against the likes of Mega Tyranitar. Tera Poison gives Ting-Lu a Toxic immunity and walls Iron Valiant and Serperior. 8 Defense EVs let Ting-Lu survive Tera Normal Facade from Ursaluna at maximum HP. Offensive Pokemon that benefit from entry hazards being on the field such as Ogerpon-W and Iron Valiant appreciate Ting-Lu's presence providing that to weaken checks like Ferrothorn and Iron Crown; it also checks Raging Bolt and Galarian Slowking for the aforementioned, respectively. Bulky Pokemon like Toxapex, Galarian Slowking, and Alomomola appreciate Ting-Lu checking Pokemon like Mega Latios, Zapdos, and Iron Crown for them. In return, they deal with threats that Ting-Lu would not be able to fend off, such as Weavile and Urshifu-R. Alomomola is a notable partner as it checks the aforementioned and provides Ting-Lu HP via wishpassing. Hazard removal options such as Corviknight and Tornadus-T support Ting-Lu by providing hazard removal along with sponging Knock Off from Pokemon like Weavile and Ferrothorn, respectively, helping Ting-Lu have as much longevity as possible.

EVs: 252 HP / 28 Def / 224 SpD / 4 Spe 252 HP / 8 Def / 244 SpD / 4 Spe you actually don’t need the 28 defense evs to survive what you described in the evs section; 8 evs are neccessary to survive the Ursa calc tho

You could probably mention how it does well against defoggers like Tornt and zap Ruination deals noteworthy damage Pokemon that would otherwise shoehorn Ting-Lu consistently like Landorus-T, Ferrothorn, and Zamazenta. Spikes can be used over Stealth Rock to pressure grounded Pokemon that resist Stealth Rock check Ting-Lu this gives a bit more meaning and purpose to spikes like the aforementioned Zamazenta and Iron Valiant. Whirlwind is essential to check and phaze out set up sweepers like Volcarona, Darkrai Tornadus-T fight z just straight up ohkos ting boosted and its not a good idea to setup on ting anyways with rai, and Gouging Fire while complementing Ting-Lu's tendency to stack entry hazards, letting it chip other teammates on the opposing side throughout a game. Alternative options on Ting-Lu such as Stone Edge and Throat Chop I have not seen this be used effectively in a serious game before, can’t you just pressure mtias with ruin and wwind + sr chip anyways? It doesn’t do much back even at +1. stone edge doesn’t have this issue because Yard and Volc are going to be pressuring ting much more than Mtias or even something like mtios will are usable over Ruination to threaten foes like Mega Charizard Y, Mega Latias, and Volcarona. Tera Ghost lets Ting-Lu check Fighting-type Pokemon it would otherwise have problems facing, like Zamazenta and Great Tusk, notably spinblocking the latter, however the weakness to Pursuit from Mega Tyranitar and Knock Off is a noteworthy hindrance. Tera Poison gives Ting-Lu a Toxic immunity and walls Iron Valiant and Serperior, albeit the Ground-type weakness isn't favorable. 28 Defense EVs are necessary to let Ting-Lu survive Tera Normal Facade from Ursaluna and a Tera Fire Choice Band Sun boosted Raging Fury from Gouging Fire It does 93% with the EVs and 95% without; also, the 8 EVs are mentioned because they actually serve a purpose and are the optimal EVs (some people may think those EVs aren’t necessary and just go with 4 Defense) at maximum HP. Offensive Pokemon that benefit from entry hazards being on the field such as Ogerpon-W and Iron Valiant appreciate Ting-Lu's presence providing that to weaken checks like Iron Crown and Ferrothorn this probably gives more insight into actually WHY hazards are good for these offensive mons; it also checks Raging Bolt and Galarian Slowking for the aforementioned, respectively. Bulky Pokemon like Toxapex and Alomomola appreciate Ting-Lu checking Pokemon like Mega Latios, Zapdos, ting providing waters with a solid check to electrics without fearing hp ice / other secondary stab is quite big and zap is one of the best examples of this and Iron Crown for them. In return, they deal with threats that Ting-Lu would not be able to fend off, such as Weavile and Urshifu-R. Alomomola is also notable because it is able to offset Ting-Lu’s lack of reliable recovery by passing huge HP wishes to it. because Mola was mentioned it is probably right to mention the other important thing it does for ting. I would also try to fit gking somewhere in the teammates section because gking REALLY likes ting switching in on darks like Mtar and rai (Mtar is very important because it can pursuit gking, which ting helps avoid), while gking switches in on stuff like Zama and Ival (2 prominent offensive Pokémon that can completely halt anything ting tries to do, such as stacking hazards)
1/2 nice read

It notably performs well against strong offensive threats like Raging Bolt and Darkrai. Ruination deals noteworthy damage Pokemon that would otherwise shoehorn shoehorn is moreso to "force" something to happen; exploit is a better word for what you're trying to say here, or similar ones Ting-Lu consistently like Landorus-T, Ferrothorn, and Zamazenta. Spikes can be used over Stealth Rock to pressure grounded Pokemon that check Ting-Lu like the aforementioned Zamazenta and Iron Valiant. + mention additional entry hazard setters to exacerbate whirlwind racking up chip on fatter stuff
+ def need mentions of good removal + knock absorbers because it's easy for ting lu to just get forced in to take spikes and suddenly not check anything / lose its main form of recovery without those
