Thwackey is one of the scariest sweepers in NFE. With strong priority in Grassy Glide, Knock Off to remove the ever-present Eviolites, and Swords Dance to bolster its Attack to terrifying levels, it is hard to deal with consistently. The most common checks to it are bulky Grass-types like Roselia and Tangela; however, Acrobatics lets Thwackey reliably KO them and is also its best option for hitting Vullaby. Thwackey takes advantage of Grassy Seed + Grassy Surge to get a Defense boost alongside full-strength Acrobatics, letting it withstand priority from the likes of Raboot. However, it's still vulnerable to special attackers, as it has no substitute for Eviolite's Special Defense boost. Teammates that appreciate opposing Grass-types being removed like Wartortle and Electabuzz make for good teammates, as they can put in a lot of work once Thwackey has cleared the way for them.

Thwackey is one of the scariest sweepers in NFE. Its access to a strong Priority STAB move, Knock Off to remove the everpresent Eviolites as well as Swords Dance to bolster its Attack to terrifying levels makes it hard to deal with. One of the most common checks to it is bulky Grass-types like Roselia and Tangela. However, Acrobatics lets Thwackey beat these Grass-types that would hinder its sweep, its also its best option for hitting Vullaby. Instead of running no item to reach Acrobatics full potential it takes advantage of Grassy Surge to activate a Grassy Seed, giving it a defense boost, allowing it to withstand physical attacks better, I think I would make it more clear that it makes resisting physical attacks as it had Eviolite (not better) but special attacks now are scarier notably priority from the likes of Raboot. Teammates that appreciate these Grass-types being removed like Wartortle and Electabuzz make for good teammates, as they can put in a lot of work once Thwackey has defeated the opposing Grass-types.
