(Placeholder by Garchomp for president RIP Tangela)
What's up ZU Gang! This thread is a fairly simple forum project that will help teach us about the meta! In this thread, users will have to counter the last 2 Pokemon posted with one Pokemon.

For example, let's say I start off the thread by posting a set for Wish Tect BU Komala and Scarf Electivire. 5gen can respond by posting a set for Rest Talk SD Silvally-Fighting. 5gens Silvally counters the initial Komala and Electivire, so the next person needs to post a counter to the Silvally set and the Electivire set, and so on. If no one can come up with a counter for a certain pair of threats, I'll reset the game after a few days. In this thread, you can be as creative as you want, just keep in mind that posting a weird/unviable set might be really easy for the next person to counter.

RULES

1.
If two people respond to a threat at the same time, the first one to post takes priority. Or, if the first poster doesn't actually counter the threat, the first one to post with a real counter takes priority, and their Pokemon becomes the next threat to counter. Feel free to dispute whether or not a Pokemon is an actual counter.

2. FOCUS SASH IS BANNED - Hopefully, this is self-explanatory; this item gives freedom to many Pokemon to defeat a bunch of mons they wouldn't normally counter. So please don't submit mons with Focus Sash.

3. The ability to win must be greater than 50%, preferably much higher. If your mon relies on hitting multiple Focus Blasts in a row or Zap Cannon or something, it won't be counted.

4. No reservation posts. This is a somewhat fast-paced project, so take the time to make an actual post if you're going to post.

5. Don't post terribly unviable sets for the sake of posting terribly unviable sets. It goes against the spirit of this project, as it requires next to no thought for the next poster to counter the mon, and it doesn't teach us any relevant information about the metagame. I'm completely fine with niche or lesser used mons being used, but not intentional garbage mons (use your judgment). Stick to Pokemon on the VR C- and above.

If a pokemon that is D (UU) or Unranked is the only Pokemon that can counter 2 mons than it is allowed.

If a Pokemon is gaining traction in the current meta and hasn't been moved up yet.

Remember to use your judgment!

6. Please please post calcs unless we'll dealing with a 4x SE attack or something else ridiculously obvious like a 2x SE fire attack in the sun.

Contact me on discord or PS for any questions regarding the thread. It's my hope that this thread will be entertaining for all and foster some potential ideas for teambuilding. Let's get started!

With the damage output of the opponent, Morning Sun allows it to reliably beat the core even with all of the recoil damage from Flare Blitz. Firium Z also helps with providing a fire nuke without the recoil, and gives Rapidash the potential to OHKO Mawile after Intimidate without having to eat a Super Fang.

Took me a while to figure out a valid answer, but our only viable AV user is the anthropomorphic lizard for the job. Lapras can push Drain Punch into potential 3HKO range with Protect or give itself an extra attack with Substitute, but either way its damage to Kecleon is negligible enough to be out-healed by its Drain Punch regardless of stalling activities. And Kecleon has always been Bronzor's worst enemy.

It can outspeed Granbull and burn it after switching in and stall with Synth and Leech seed and if Mawile predicts you and clicks Toxic you can eat the lum and block it with a sub and proceed to be annoying and spam leech seed. Gourgeist doesnt really miss the colbur anyway but it's an option if we assume Mawile doesnt toxic every time on your switchin and wants the free rocks instead.
