[SET COMMENTS]
Tapu Fini is an excellent form of role compression for many teams, packing a Water-resist, Dragon-immunity, and form of speed control in one slot. Hydro Pump is Tapu Fini's most powerful attack, super-effectively hitting common attackers such as Victini, Incineroar and Landorus-T. Moonblast is its other STAB move, 2HKOing Regidrago and Kyurem-Black and dealing neutral damage to Rillaboom. Icy Wind is an effective form of speed control, slowing down common Choice Scarf users such as Regidrago and Landorus-T, as well as Kingdra and opposing Tailwind. Life Orb boosts the power of Tapu Fini's attacks significantly, while Weakness Policy takes advantage of Tapu Fini's natural bulk and boosts its special attack. Misty Surge is the ability of choice, removing opposing Grassy Terrain from Rillaboom and other fast Terrain users, as well as weakening the power of Dragon-type moves from Pokemon such as Regidrago and Zygarde. Telepathy is an option when paired with Landorus-T so Tapu Fini does not take damage from Earthquake. 252 HP and 72 Def with a Bold Nature allows Tapu Fini to always avoid the OHKO from Jolly Life Orb Zeraora Plasma Fists, while 60 Speed EVs lets Tapu Fini outspeed Landorus after an Icy Wind. The rest of the EVs are put into Special Attack to increase Tapu Fini's damage output.

Tapu Fini is best used on more offensive teams, shoring up common weaknesses to Swift Swim Kingdra and Regidrago. This is appreciated by Pokemon such as Cinderace, Victini and Incineroar, which are able to defeat common Tapu Fini counters such as Ferrothorn, Amoonguss, and Rillaboom. Incineroar is a good partner in particular as it makes it easier for Tapu Fini to handle Zeraora and Rillaboom with Intimidate, as well as Psychic Surge teams due to its Dark-typing. Regieleki and Zeraora appreciate Tapu Fini's ability to beat common checks such as Zygarde and Kyurem-Black, and in turn they beat common special walls such as Blastoise and Togekiss. Tapu Fini struggles to beat bulky setup Pokemon such as Celesteela and Mew, so Sableye makes a good partner with its access to Prankster and Encore. Marowak-Alola shores up Tapu Fini's weakness to Electric-types with Lightning Rod, and in turn also threatens bulky setup sweepers with its STAB moves. Tapu Fini's access to Misty Surge is appreciated by Dragon-type partners such as Kyurem-Black and Zygarde, as both are weak to Regidrago and oftentimes do not use their Dragon-type STAB moves.

Other Options
=============

Tapu Fini can effectively utilize resist berries such as Kebia, Rindo, and Wacan for specific threats such as Gunk Shot Cinderace, Rillaboom, and Zeraora and Regieleki respectively. A Choice Scarf set with Hydro Pump, Moonblast, Icy Wind, Trick, and fully-invested Special Attack and Speed EVs with a Timid nature can be used as an effective form of speed control and anti-setup. 184 Speed EVs can be used to outspeed Timid Naganadel after an Icy Wind on non-Choice Scarf sets. Soak can be used in tandem with Shedinja to improve its typing with Wonder Guard. Taunt is an option to beat Celesteela and setup Mew, although Trick with a Choice Scarf is generally better.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Powerful Attackers**: Tapu Fini struggles to handle super-effective attacks from Regieleki, Zeraora, Cinderace, and Rillaboom, along with strong neutral attacks from Hatterene.

**Bulky Set-up**: Non-Taunt or Trick sets cannot break bulky-setup sweepers such as Celesteela and Mew.

**Specially-defensive Walls**: Tapu Fini fails to 2HKO and 3HKO specially-defensive walls such as Togekiss and Blastoise.

**Volcanion**: Volcanion is immune to Tapu Fini's Hydro Pump and resists Moonblast and Icy Wind.

Set + Comments
- may be worth mentioning that Misty Surge reduces the power of Dragon-type attacks as well - mostly just means that Regidrago hates Tapu Fini with a burning passion
- Slash Telepathy on the set since you mention it
- 60 speed -> 60 Speed EVs, Landorus-I -> Landorus

- "As such" between the first ideas implies that they are connected, but Tapu Fini shores up weaknesses to Water-types -> Fire-types threaten Grass-types isn't that obvious of a leap. They are both reasons why Tapu Fini + good Fire-type works as a core tho, just not one therefore the other. Something like "weaknesses to Swift Swim Kingdra and Regidrago for Incineroar / Cinderace" at the end of the first sentence + something about what they do in return flows a lot better
- Mention Victini as a Fire-type partner as well
- may be worth mentioning Kyurem-B / Rillaboom as partners?
- Lightningrod -> Lightning Rod

Other Options
- Special Sttack -> Special Attack
- Make it obvious that the 184 Speed EVs are for a non-Choice Scarf set

1/2 after, as always DMs / 2v2 discord are your friend
