Talonflame is one of the best speed control options because of Gale Wings + Tailwind and its excellent Speed tier. Tailwind provides an instant Speed boost to partners such as Regidrago, Cinderace, Genesect, and both Landorus formes, allowing them to outpace foes that would otherwise threaten them or Talonflame such as Naganadel, Zeraora, and Regieleki. Brave Bird is a powerful STAB move used to damage foes such as Galarian Zapdos, Cinderace, Victini, Naganadel, and Pheromosa. Gale Wings provides Brave Bird with +1 priority at full health, allowing Talonflame to move before faster foes such as Pheromosa and Choice Scarf Landorus-T. Flare Blitz defeats Steel-types such as Metagross and Genesect and Ice-types such as Alolan Ninetales. Protect is an effective answer to Fake Out, allowing Talonflame to keep Gale Wings intact.

Talonflame works very well on teams that appreciate Tailwind's instant Speed boost. Steel-types such as Genesect and Celesteela make excellent partners, as they're able to defeat Fairy- and Rock-types that Talonflame struggles with such as Tapu Fini, Diancie, and Nihilego. Genesect in particular loves Tailwind, since this allows it to get the jump on checks such as Landorus and Choice Scarf Landorus-T. Regidrago also appreciates Tailwind, which enables it to fire off devastating Dragon Energies. Talonflame can defeat most of the Steel-types that resist Regidrago's attacks such as Genesect, Celesteela, and Metagross. Both Landorus formes make excellent teammates, as they're able to defeat Rock- and Electric-types for Talonflame such as Nihilego and Zeraora, and both benefit from Tailwind greatly. Rillaboom shuts down Water-types like Kingdra, Politoed, and Tapu Fini, which otherwise tear through Talonflame teams.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Checks and Counters
===================
**Super Effective Attacks**: Rock-types such as Diancie, Nihilego, and Tyranitar OHKO Talonflame with Rock-type moves and resist both of its attacks. Zeraora and Regieleki OHKO, resist Brave Bird, and naturally outspeed Talonflame, so they don't have to worry about Flare Blitz pre-Tailwind. Water-types like Tapu Fini and Kingdra + Politoed are particularly problematic for Talonflame, since many common partners do not cover them.

**Opposing Speed Control**: Speed-boosting weather abilities such as Kingdra's Swift Swim can match the Speed boost Tailwind provides. Icy Wind and Electroweb can slow down both Talonflame and its teammate, reducing Tailwind's boost. Trick Room punishes the use of Tailwind, allowing the opponent's Pokemon to almost always move first.

**Fake Out**: Fake Out pressures Talonflame to use Protect turn 1, so Zeraora and Incineroar exert pressure on Talonflame teams immediately. Talonflame does not want to lose Gale Wings priority, and its partner can be left vulnerable if it does not also use Protect, which limits defensive options on turn 2.

Gale Wings provides Brave Bird with +1 priority while at full health, allowing Talonflame to move before faster foes such as Pheromosa and Scarf Landorus-Therian.
One quick thing to remember is that you always want to say Choice Scarf instead of just Scarf. Just a little prose standards nitpick, nothing too big!

Flare Blitz is a secondary STAB move used to defeat steel types such as Metagross and Genesect and Ice types such as Ninetales-Alola and Weavile.
More GP nitpicks! You always want to say Alolan Ninetales in analyses. You also should replace "steel types" with "Steel-types" and "Ice types" with "Ice-types" because that's another big thing with standards. Just small things though!

Steel types such as Genesect and Celesteela make excellent partners as they're able to defeat fairy and rock types that Talonflame struggles with such as Tapu Fini, Diancie, and Nihilego.
As mentioned before, watch out for the capitalization and hyphens when talking about types. However, the bigger thing here is that Celesteela often struggles with Tapu Fini, as Tapu Fini can either use Taunt or Trick to make life more difficult. You may want to replace this with another Fairy- or Rock-type of your choosing.

Genesect in particular benefits greatly from the speed boost Tailwind provides as it becomes one of the fastest pokemon in the metagame after a Tailwind boost. Regidrago is another partner for Talonflame that appreciates the speed boost Tailwind provides, outspeeding most of the metagame after a tailwind. Talonflame is able to defeat most of the steel types that would otherwise resist Regidrago such as Genesect, Celesteela, and Metagross.
Apart from the "Steel-types" nitpick that I continuously make, I think that you probably should focus on the benefits of Talonflame's Tailwind in more of a matchups perspective instead of saying that Tailwind can make Genesect and Regidrago some of the fastest Pokemon in the Metagame. You also might want to mention how Regidrago's Dragon Energy has good synergy with what Talonflame is able to provide from an offensive perspective. I do think that you can mention how Genesect is oftentimes better against Tapu Fini instead of just talking about how Genesect becomes fast since it's probably better to remove Tapu Fini from the other spot where it's at.

Both Landorus forms make excellent teammates as they're able to defeat rock and electric types for Talonflame such as Nihilego and Zeraora and both benefit from the speed boost provided by Tailwind greatly,
You may want to mention what the speed boost provided by Tailwind allows the both Landorus forms to beat instead of just saying that they benefit greatly from it. Also, once more, be careful about the "Rock- and Electric-types." Please remember to put a hyphen after the first type in a list of multiple types!

Rock Types- Rock types such as Diancie, Nihilego, and Tyranitar are able to resist both of Talonflame's attacks and OHKO with rock type moves.

Electric Types- Zeraora and Regieleki resist Talonflame's Brave Bird and naturally outspeed Talonflame so they don't have to worry about Flare Blitz.
There should be a colon, not a hyphen to start each check/counter. Also, remember to follow the whole thing with "Rock-types" and "Electric-types" that I've been talking to throughout the entire qc. You may want to include Trick Room users as another entry on this list, as they tend to be strong against teams centered around Talonflame. You could also include bulkier Water-types and Pokemon that benefit from weather on this list!

That's about it from me, really nice analysis!!

Talonflame is one of the best speed control options because of its access to the combination of Gale Wings and Tailwind while also sporting an excellent speed tier. Tailwind provides an instant speed boost to partners such as Regidrago, Cinderace, Genesect, and both Landorus forms, allowing them to outpace opponents that would otherwise threaten them or Talonflame specific examples here would help. Brave Bird is a powerful STAB move used to damage foes such as Galarian Zapdos, Cinderace, Victini, Naganadel, and Pheromosa. Gale Wings provides Brave Bird with has +1 priority while Talonflame is at full health, allowing Talonflame it to move before faster than foes such as Pheromosa and Choice Scarf Landorus-Therian. Flare Blitz is a secondary STAB move used to defeat Steel-types such as Metagross and Genesect and Ice types such as Alolan Ninetales-Alola and Weavile. Protect is an effective answer to Fake Out, allowing Talonflame to keep Gale Wings intact turn 2.

Steel-types (hyphen) such as Genesect and Celesteela make excellent partners as they're able to defeat Fairy- and Rock-types that Talonflame struggles with such as Tapu Fini, Diancie, and Nihilego +1 on lumi's point about Tapu Fini answers, but I think Tapu Fini functions more as a Water-type anyway so probably fine to talk about it later, add a bit talking about fini / rain -> answers to cover them. Genesect in particular benefits greatly from the speed boost Tailwind provides as it becomes one of the fastest pokemon in the metagame after a Tailwind boost. Regidrago is another partner for Talonflame that appreciates the speed boost Tailwind provides, outspeeding most of the metagame after a tailwind. see below, focus more on what the speed boost allows common partners to do, rather than just that they go fast Talonflame is able to defeat most of the Steel-types that would otherwise resist Regidrago's attacks such as Genesect, Celesteela, and Metagross. You could add like Quick Guard / Heat Wave here or just remove this section entirely

Checks and Counters
===================

**Super Effective Attacks**: I combined the Electric / Rock-type sections because they're very similar, please add Water-types like Tapu Fini, Politoed + Kingdra, etc. Water-types may even need their own section because they shut down common partners as well, but I'll leave that up to you. Rock-types (hyphen) such as Diancie, Nihilego, and Tyranitar are able to resist both of Talonflame's attacks and OHKO with Rock-type (hyphen) moves. Zeraora and Regieleki resist Talonflame's Brave Bird and naturally outspeed Talonflame so they don't have to worry about Flare Blitz.

**Speed Control**: Weather abusers such as Kingdra are able to boost their speed through abilties such as Swift Swim to match the speed boost Tailwind provides. Icy Wind and Electroweb are moves that can slow down both Talonflame and its teammate, reducing the speed boost Tailwind provides. Trick Room punishes the use of Tailwind and allows the opponent's pokemon to almost always move first.

**Fake Out**: Forces Talonflame to predict - not a counter, just a way to pressure Talonflame builds.

**Trick Room**: lumi comments

**Fake Out**: Fake Out pressures Talonflame to use Protect turn 1, so Zeraora and Incineroar exert pressure on Talonflame. (maybe add one more sentence about why this exerts pressure. eg can zera/incin and/or their teammate take advantage of the forced protect to pressure talonflame's teammate? etc)
