ID negates SD

0 Atk Chesnaught Wood Hammer vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 272-324 (79.7 - 95%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

its a small range, but just rocks can open the chance to ohko

And that's basically it, Chesnaught comes to save the day once again
yo, here's a better chesnaught set that actually blocks more than shifu lol

intimidate and a good natural typing and bull give water Tauros the tools it need to Counter urshifu-r. Trailblaze allows it to boost faster than urshifu, with bulk up allowing it to become threatening when given free turns from shifu, Chien pao, or hamurott. Body press capitalises off of the defensive investment, and is a 3HKO if they don’t as for whatever reason. Leftovers allows for some recovery, and Tera fairy covers for teraIf you switch in on any of it’s moves, you comfortably stomach them:

-1 252 Atk Punching Glove Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Surging Strikes (3 hits) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Tauros-Paldea-Aqua on a critical hit: 72-87 (20.3 - 24.5%) -- approx. possible 6HKO after Leftovers recovery
-1 252 Atk Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Tauros-Paldea-Aqua: 93-109 (26.2 - 30.7%) -- 4% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252 Atk Punching Glove Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Thunder Punch vs. +1 252 HP / 252+ Def Tauros-Paldea-Aqua: 126-150 (35.5 - 42.3%) -- 91.3% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
From here you click trailblaze as they sd, becoming faster than it, and bulk up for these calcs:

+1 252+ Def Tauros-Paldea-Aqua Body Press vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 186-219 (54.5 - 64.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 252 Atk Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Close Combat vs. +1 252 HP / 252+ Def Tauros-Paldea-Aqua: 136-162 (38.4 - 45.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252 Atk Punching Glove Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Surging Strikes (3 hits) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Tauros-Paldea-Aqua on a critical hit: 108-129 (30.5 - 36.4%) -- approx. 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252 Atk Punching Glove Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Thunder Punch vs. +1 252 HP / 252+ Def Tauros-Paldea-Aqua: 126-150 (35.5 - 42.3%) -- 91.3% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

this means you win the 1v1 and can lefties off the damage if they switch out. If they sd on the switch you lose, so try force a ss or cc.

Switch in on SD or aqua jet and literally any of these attacks will ohko. Beware of cc and surging strikes because +0 cc is a guaranteed ohko and +2 surging will also ohko. However, electrode can ohko back with all of it's attacks and aqua jet will do less than 40% so electrode can come in twice before it dies.

Dondozo @ Heavy-Duty Boots / Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Tera Type: Grass / Dragon
Impish Nature
- Liquidation
- Body Press
- Rest
- Sleep Talk / Yawn

Dondozo is a counter. Thanks to Unaware and and its excellent physical bulk, Dondozo can easily switch in on Urshifu's attacks, since none of them deal enough damage to break through on their own. If Urshifu gets lucky with Thunder Punch paralysis, it might be able to, but even then, it's going to take a while, especially if Dondozo Teras.

Of course, Dondozo can't do much in return -- its strongest option on this set is Body Press, which is only a 4HKO, and Unaware also ignores the defense drops from Close Combat. Unless you're willing to forgo Sleep Talk for Yawn, neither of you will be making much progress, but that carries its own risks.

:dondozo:
0 Atk Dondozo Liquidation vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 46-54 (13.4 - 15.8%) -- possible 7HKO

Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature

If you can get Valiant in safely all Urshifu can do is run away cause it outspeeds Urshifu and Thunderbolt is a guaranteed OHKO no matter what. Even at +2 Urshifu cannot OHKO Valiant with Aqua Jet unless 3 layers of spikes are in play, and even then the roll is very much not in the Urshifu's favor.

252 SpA Choice Specs Iron Valiant Thunderbolt vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 418-492 (122.5 - 144.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Ability: Dauntless Shield
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Psychic Fangs

Zamazenta is one of the tier's strongest and fastest Pokemon in the tier. Its already strong Close Combat can be powered up even further by Tera Fighting. Stone Edge lets it hit Flying-types such as Zapdos and Enamorus. Crunch blows up Ghost-types like Gholdengo and Dragapult trying to switch in. It can round out its movepool with several moves, including Psychic Fangs to hit Poison-types such as Toxapex, Amoongus and Sneasler.

- U-turn
- Grass Knot

Lando-t intimidate makes zama's attack to be weakened, and its great flying type mitigates a lot of the damage from CC after the atk drop, making it a reliable switch in. As zama does not have any other stabs other than CC the other moves won't do a lot to lando, which can use zama to set up rocks or pivot with u-turn.
Not a counter since lando can't really kill it either and lacks recovery LOL but gets the job done very well.

Hatterene eats close combat and psychic fangs for breakfast, and it can easily tank a few crunches and stone edges. At +1 sp. atk, hatt is able to easily out heal zama's stone edge damage, however, stone edge has horrible accuracy so it could end up giving hatt some free set up opportunities. Currently, hatt is a sleeper pick for ou, however, it can easily tank hits from zama, just pray no stone edge crit and crunch defense drops.

Scream tail absolutely sits on this thing. It can easily swap in on any move, stone edge does the most but since it cants 2kho, it can be Wish protect stalled. Wish, protect and either kill it with dazzling gleam. Or pp stall it.

Lando-T can come on all CB Zamazenta attacks and then pivot with u-turn (or eq for some damage).

EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe

Toxapex physically defensive take +- 50% on Psychic Fangs so it can just heal himself with regenerator. Moreover pex can poison it.

Hatterene resists Zamazenta attacks and draining kiss on it. I don't place hatt in counter because it can difficult to heal in some mu (vs tran for example).

It doesn't quite hit the counter mark since it has a chance of getting 2HKO'd by tera fight CC but otherwise it still works just fine as a check since it'll still comfortably take 1 hit and go for the burn. Once you get in and burn it tauros can straight 1v1 zama by cycling Protect and Body Press. Psychic Fang cannot 2HKO under any circumstances in this set and is still weaker than STAB CC so it'll still lose all the same if zama tries to circumvent CC drops by using Psychic Fang instead.
