Pretty self explanatory. It’s a check cause it can’t take a stone edge on the switch. Tera fairy moonblast ohkos zama and outspeeds thanks to choice scarf. It has a 75% chance to kill without tera so it can check it without tera if you’re a gambler

Houndstone @ Leftovers / Rocky Helmet
Ability: Fluffy
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Body Press
- Will-O-Wisp
- Rest
- Night Shade / Roar / Yawn

Houndstone is a check. While having to rely on Rest for recovery means that it can be overwhelmed, Houndstone's bulk and Fluffy ensure that it will take a while -- even Stone Edge, which isn't affected by Fluffy, struggles to even 3HKO! While Houndstone can't threaten a KO in return unless Zamazenta has racked up more than a few Close Combat defense drops, it can burn it or attempt to phaze it out. Rocky Helmet also happens to synergize well with Fluffy, and tacks on even more chip damage.

:houndstone:
252+ Def Houndstone Body Press vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Zamazenta: 71-84 (21.8 - 25.8%) -- 2.4% chance to 4HKO
Houndstone Night Shade vs. 0 HP Zamazenta: 100-100 (30.7 - 30.7%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

:zamazenta:
252 Atk Choice Band Zamazenta Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Fluffy Tera Fairy Houndstone: 50-59 (14.3 - 16.9%) -- possible 6HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Zamazenta Crunch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Fluffy Houndstone: 90-106 (25.8 - 30.4%) -- guaranteed 4HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Zamazenta Crunch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Fluffy Tera Fairy Houndstone: 22-26 (6.3 - 7.4%) -- possibly the worst move ever
252 Atk Choice Band Zamazenta Stone Edge vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Houndstone: 112-132 (32.1 - 37.9%) -- 94.9% chance to 3HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Zamazenta Psychic Fangs vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Fluffy Houndstone: 47-56 (13.5 - 16%) -- possible 7HKO

You eat a hit, you eat another and then u endure, you can also tera poison to take the close combats better and rack up a lot of chip damage, it is a great check to it as u can stack hazards to chip it down easily

Y'all took the best checks and counters, so now I'm stuck with a worse one.

Yeah, that less-than-100% chance to OHKO blows. But at least you outspeed!

252+ SpA Tornadus-Therian Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Zamazenta: 312-368 (96 - 113.2%) -- 75% chance to OHKO (guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock)
252+ SpA Tera Flying Tornadus-Therian Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Tera Fighting Zamazenta: 416-492 (128 - 151.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
(252 Atk Choice Band Zamazenta Stone Edge vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Tornadus-Therian: 370-436 (123.7 - 145.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO)

Basculegion-Male @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk/4 SpD/252 Spe
Adamant Nature
Tera-Type: Ghost
- Wave Crash
- Aqua Jet
- Tera Blast
- Psychic Fangs

Basculegion is a check because Rain absolutely must be up in order for it to outspeed and muscle past Zamazenta, but the fact that it can cleanly 2HKO Zama and survive any one hit in response (so long as the Colbur Berry is intact for Crunch) makes Legion a worthy consideration. Aqua Jet is for priority, Tera Blast provides an actual Ghost STAB when coupled with the respective Tera-Type, and Psychic Fangs allows Legion to break screens when need be. But let's be real, here; you're gonna click Wave Crash with your Legion 9 times out of 10, and you're gonna like it. Adamant is chosen over Jolly because you need the power more than you need the speed. Specifically, Adamant Crash guarantees the 2HKO on Zama whilst in the Rain, even with Dauntless Shield taken into account. Jolly Crash does not.

252+ Atk Basculegion Wave Crash vs. +1 0 HP / 0 Def Zamazenta in Rain: 172-204 (52.9 - 62.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Basculegion Wave Crash vs. +1 0 HP / 0 Def Zamazenta in Rain: 157-186 (48.3 - 57.2%) -- 91.8% chance to 2HKO

You should also be sure to keep Legion healthy for Zama, just to be safe. It takes 28% in total recoil damage after its 2HKO on Zama with Wave Crash; this effectively leaves it with 72% HP to take a hit with if you want Legion to keep going and make a full-fledged sweep. For reference, here are the damage calcs for the attacks Zama can use against Legion.

252 Atk Choice Band Zamazenta Crunch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Colbur Berry Basculegion: 175-207 (45.9 - 54.3%) -- 53.1% chance to 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Zamazenta Stone Edge vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Basculegion: 220-259 (57.7 - 67.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Zamazenta Psychic Fangs vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Basculegion: 187-220 (49 - 57.7%) -- 96.1% chance to 2HKO

Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe

- Chilly Reception
- Flamethrower

My day one check to this doggo. ZaMIDzenta can't spam his main STAB with our boy Glowking around, so it will have to go for hard reads with Crunch. NGL, the damage output from that move is pretty high, but you are getting off continuous chip vs the doggo via Rocky Helmet and can pivot to something like Lando-T, Tusks, Iron Valiant or whatever on the follow-up Crunch. Tera Dark Crunch might be scary too, that can OHKO after rocks.

252 Atk Choice Band Zamazenta Crunch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowking-Galar: 206-244 (52.2 - 61.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Tera Dark Zamazenta Crunch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowking-Galar: 308-366 (78.1 - 92.8%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

That stings. However, the point of Glowking isn't to be a hard counter, but to force ZaMIDzenta into a very uncomfortable position, where spamming its main STAB is hard due to Glowking consistently being around to eat its hit, deal solid chip damage to it w/ Rocky Helmet, and potentially setup future sight for another mon like Tusks, Kingambit etc. Even if Glowking dies, you are still arguably in a decent position, since you have switch advantage while the dog is locked into a weak, 80 BP move unstabbed move & has taken a few rounds of chip from RH, so you'll be in a prime position to switch your Tusks, valiant, Ting-Lu, etc. in and do whatever you want.

Calm Mind Enamorus is one of the most foreboding set-up sweepers in the tier thanks to its auspicious coverage and amazing Special Attack. This, in tandem with its good Speed tier that notably outspeeds threats such as Zapdos and Garchomp, make it very tricky for many teams to capably handle in the late game. Mystical Fire ensures that Enamorus can hit Pokemon like Corviknight and Amoonguss capably while Grass Knot obliterates Dondozo and Alomomola.

Dunno why my post got eaten, ah well.

Unaware Clodsire is a counter

Clodsire @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Tera Type: Water
Careful Nature
- Toxic / Poison Jab
- Stealth Rock / Poison Jab
- Recover

252 SpA Enamorus Earth Power vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Clodsire: 146-174 (31.5 - 37.5%) -- 0.1% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 Atk Clodsire Poison Jab vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Enamorus: 186-218 (64.3 - 75.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Enamorus needs hazards and crits to break past, while Clodsire can sit on it and set up hazards, 2HKO with Poison Jab, or PP stall it.

non boosted enamourous EP only 3hkoes goodra-h while flash canon ohkoes unboosted enamourous.

252 SpA Enamorus Earth Power vs. 196 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Goodra-Hisui: 96-114 (27.4 - 32.5%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

252+ SpA Goodra-Hisui Flash Cannon vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Enamorus: 306-362 (105.8 - 125.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

If you switch in on the CM instead of the earth power. Goodra still eats up at least 2 hits, which is more than enough to 2hko a +1 spdef enamours.

+1 252 SpA Enamorus Earth Power vs. 196 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Goodra-Hisui: 142-168 (40.5 - 48%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

252+ SpA Goodra-Hisui Flash Cannon vs. +1 0 HP / 4 SpD Enamorus: 204-242 (70.5 - 83.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

So if you swap in on the first turn, no matter what enamourous does, it gets hard countered.

While Gholdengo's specially defensive sets have dicier match-ups with Enamorus than Skeledirge thanks to not having Unaware, Gholdengo can actually viably use offensive sets that OHKO Enamorus through some hax (previous-gen) Heatran-style - check these calcs out that show that, for a check, at least Scarf Gholdengo can switch in once and outspeed and OHKO this Calm Mind Enamorus regardless of what Enamorus uses:

252 SpA Enamorus Earth Power vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Gholdengo: 218-258 (69.2 - 81.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
