The teambuilder will automatically set a Pokemon's Attack IV stat to 0 if it carries Foul Play as its only physical attack. While this is optimal in most formats, it is not in either Gen 8 Anything Goes or National Dex AG, where Yveltal is one of the most ubiquitous Pokemon and situations where one may want to Dynamax it are very common. I imagine there are more examples in other formats with Dynamax, but that's beyond my knowledge.

This is related to other issues with the teambuilder's IV suggestions (see here, here and here), but not much has been done as far as I know. At the least, it would be much appreciated if this were to be changed in both Gen 8 AG formats, as I don't believe a fix would be hard to implement (please correct me if I'm wrong!).

This definitely wouldn't be applied to "all Dynamax formats", since that would include VGC, which features Pokemon which prefer 0 Attack IV Foul Play (e.g. Amoonguss, Porygon2, Umbreon) as well as Pokemon which might prefer 31 Attack IV Foul Play, but not always (e.g. Grimmsnarl, Yveltal). The only Pokemon where it really ever becomes worth it is Yveltal in VGC, since Grimmsnarl rarely Dynamaxes and will nearly always do more damage with Foul Play in relevant situations. I think it's an open question whether or not 31 Atk IVs is better on Yveltal as well there; it depends on the set, really. Unless there's other Foul Play Pokemon in AG, this really feels like a "don't give Yveltal 31 Atk IVs with Foul Play in Anything Goes", rather than something generalized to anything with Foul Play as its only physical attack in every Dynamax format.

I see, I wanted to hear from others with experience in other Dynamax formats so thanks for the response

On another note, I forgot to mention it initially, but in AG I think Tyranitar is another Pokemon which this proposal should apply to. It is rare to see a Tyranitar carrying Foul Play and not Rock Blast or Pursuit, but it's still viable in my opinion, and there are definitely cases where Dynamaxing it would be useful.
