:ss/Silvally-Ice:
Coldest of the Silvallies
[OVERVIEW]
Silvally-Ice's good offensive typing, all-around stats, and movepool are let down by its abysmal defensive utility, as well as its fixed item and ability. These factors cause it to get worn down quickly by residual damage, which includes Stealth Rock, and make it very difficult to switch in safely. Silvally-Ice also faces overwhelming competition as a setup sweeper from its other formes, such as Silvally-Dark and Silvally-Poison, both of which have better typings to be overall better offensively and defensively.

[SET]
name: Swords Dance
move 1: Swords Dance
move 2: Multi-Attack
move 3: Flame Charge
move 4: Rock Slide
item: Fire Memory
ability: RKS System
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Silvally-Ice can use its good coverage and stats to try to clean mid- or late-game, forcing out Pokemon like Altaria, Tangela, and Stunfisk. However, its vulnerability to all entry hazards and terrible defensive utility make it difficult to pull off a sweep with it. Silvally formes like Silvally-Dark and Silvally-Poison can both do the same thing but better because of their superior typings.

Coldest of the Silvallies
[OVERVIEW]
Silvally-Ice's good offensive typing, all-around stats, and movepool are let down by its abysmal defensive utility and fixed and useless item and ability. Silvally-Ice being unable to run a more useful item or ability causes which cause it to get worn down quickly by residual damage, which includes a weakness to Stealth Rock, and makes it very difficult to switch in safely without risking a lot of damage. Despite their lower bulk, it is outclassed by Jynx and Froslass, both of which are faster, have better utility options, and have secondary typings which makes them harder to deal with defensively. Silvally-Ice also faces overwhelming competition from its other formes as a setup sweeper, such as Silvally-Dark and Silvally-Poison, both of which have better typings to be overall better offensively and defensively.

However, its vulnerability to all entry hazards and terrible defensive utility makes it difficult to pull off a sweep. Other Ice-types like Jynx and Froslass can break far more effectively thanks to their better stats, movepools, and not being hindered by their fixed item and abilities, while Silvally formes like Silvally-Dark and Silvally-Poison can both do the same thing but better because of their superior typings. the comparison to jynx and froslass doesnt make sense, as they are special attackers and dont really compete with sd icevally. Just focus on comparing it to other sd users and emphasize on how shitty its coverage is
