:SS/Runerigus:
Thus, the Spirit continues to Wander...
[OVERVIEW]
Although Runerigus sports good physical bulk, a great movepool, and a unique ability in Wandering Spirit, it is nevertheless a poor defensive entry hazard setter. Runerigus has multiple defensive weaknesses, making it weak to common threats like Rotom, Silvally-Dark, and Skuntank, and lacks reliable recovery. It suffers from overwhelming competition from Ground-types like Rhydon and Palossand, with the former having a better typing and stats and the latter having better longevity thanks to reliable recovery.

[SET]
name: Physical Wall
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Poltergeist
move 4: Body Press / Toxic Spikes / Rest
item: Leftovers
ability: Wandering Spirit
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]
Runerigus can try to use its wide utility movepool and good physical bulk to take on physical attackers like Sawk and Kangaskhan. However, Runerigus's many weaknesses and lack of reliable recovery make it much easier to wear down than one may expect. This set is done better by Rhydon and Palossand; the former's better defensive typing and stats make it more consistent against Electric- and Poison-types like Rotom and Skuntank, while the latter's reliable recovery makes it more consistent as a wall compared to Runerigus.

[OVERVIEW]
Although Runerigus sports good physical bulk, a great movepool, and a unique ability in Wandering Spirit, it is nevertheless a poor defensive entry hazard setter. Runerigus's multiple defensive weaknesses combined with a lack of reliable recovery make it quite susceptible to getting worn down by residual damage and attacks, which is not helped by its awful Speed. It is outclassed by Ground-types like Rhydon and Piloswine; both have higher offensive presences, Speed, and typings to make themselves more useful on a team. how could you forget palossand... that's the main competition it gets. you also fail to explain the problem that runerigus has compared to rhydon and piloswine, which is the rotom and skuntank matchup.
