Down in the Deep Dark Sea
[OVERVIEW]
While the combination of Head Smash and Rock Head alongside a good offensive movepool might seem enticing, Relicanth is a poor attacker due to its low Speed and mediocre Attack. Despite having weaker Rock-type STAB attacks, Kabutops and Rhydon outclass it due to the former having way more utility with Knock Off, Rapid Spin, and Flip Turn, and the latter having much better power and bulk. Relicanth also struggles to break through bulky Pokemon like Tangela and Palossand even with Toxic, making it even more difficult to justify running.

[SET]
name: Offensive Stealth Rock
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Head Smash
move 3: Liquidation
move 4: Toxic
item: Leftovers
ability: Rock Head
nature: Adamant
evs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Relicanth attempts to set up Stealth Rock before using the combination of Head Smash and Rock Head to wallbreak as much as it can before getting KOed. However, Relicanth's oft-lacking power makes it difficult to justify running over Kabutops and Rhydon, with the former's additional utility and the latter's bulk and power being far stronger positives than what Relicanth can offer.

Despite having a weaker Rock STAB attack, Kabutops outclasses it due to having additional utility with Knock Off, Rapid Spin, and Flip Turn, giving it more flexibility outside of raw power and setting hazards it is also much faster. That said the better comparison should be with rhydon which is another bulky rock type sr setter. Relicanth also struggles to break through Pokemon like Tangela and Palossand even with Toxic, making it even more difficult to justify running.

Relicanth attempts to set up Stealth Rock before using the combination of Head Smash and Rock Head to wallbreak as much as it can before going down. However, Relicanth's mediocre power makes it difficult to justify running over Kabutops, who has additional utility outside of setting up hazards and raw power. same comments as above, would appreciate if you could develop and not just repeat the info from the overview, like mentionning toxic and liquidation let it threaten common rock resists.

While the combination of Head Smash and Rock Head alongside a good offensive movepool might seem enticing, it Relicanth is a poor attacker due to its low Speed and mediocre Attack. Despite having weaker Rock Rock-type STAB attacks, Kabutops and Rhydon outclass it due to both the former having way more utility with Knock Off, Rapid Spin, and Flip Turn, and the latter with its having much better power and bulk. Relicanth also struggles to break through (add an adjective here like "bulky" or "common" or "defensive", whatever works. Describe Tangela/Palossand somehow to show why you're mentioning them) Pokemon like Tangela and Palossand even with Toxic, making it even more difficult to justify running.

Relicanth attempts to set up Stealth Rock before using the combination of Head Smash and Rock Head to wallbreak as much as it can before going down getting KOed. However, Relicanth's often lacking oft-lacking power makes it difficult to justify running over Kabutops and Rhydon, with the former's additional utility and the latter's bulk and power being far stronger positives than what Relicanth can offer.
