Return of the king - SD Scale Shot Garchomp

:ss/Garchomp:

Garchomp @ Roseli Berry
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Fire Fang
- Scale Shot

Garchomp can sweep teams with ease with SD + Scale Shot, coupled with near-perfect coverage and good bulk. Type berry is usually the better item nowadays - Roseli Berry helps win 1v1s vs most, if not all, Fairies, thus clearing the path for mons like Hawlucha, G-Moltres or a fellow Dragon like Dragapult to sweep later.

I would love to see how the community can make this moster thrive.

Kyurem @ Never-Melt Ice
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Ice Beam
- Freeze-Dry

- Earth Power
- Roost

This set is one of the most meta defining discovery from SCL, Easily earning it's spot among the most dangerous threats in the metagame, as it has pulled its weight and more in most of the replays it was used in, now you miight ask why is it so dangerous ?, because never-melt ice allows it to 2hko bulky pokemon like Corviknight and Clefable with Ice Beam, and unlike the specs set it cant be played around as easily, another advantage this set has is being able to use Roost to take advantage of its good bulk, which makes it really difficult to force out, and letting it stay healthy throughout the game despite its stealth rock weakness, and even allows it to fish for freezes on its checks that spam recovery moves.

Also i'm lazy and didnt want to build with this mon.

AV Magnezone

:ss/magnezone:
Magnezone @ Assault Vest
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 HP / 52 SpA / 56 SpD / 148 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Flash Cannon
- Mirror Coat

Thanks to Assault Vest, Magnezone has enough special bulk to trap and remove Heatran with Mirror Coat, opening up the opposing team for a potential sweep. Its fantastic defensive typing paired with its newfound special bulk means that it isn't useless against non-Heatran teams, it can also help against common special attackers like Tapu Lele. Magnezone can take a super effective hit from some other special attackers as well, such as Blacephalon, and retaliate with a Mirror Coat. Thunderbolt and Flash Cannon are STAB to get chip on non grounds and grounds respectively. Volt Switch means Magnezone can take advantage of its low speed and provide a slow U-turn for its teammates. To take full advantage of its special bulk, Magnezone will need strong hazard removal.

252 SpA Heatran Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 56 SpD Assault Vest Magnezone: 272-320 (79 - 93%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO
0 SpA Heatran Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 56 SpD Assault Vest Magnezone: 224-264 (65.1 - 76.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 SpA Choice Specs Tapu Lele Psyshock vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Magnezone in Psychic Terrain: 113-133 (32.8 - 38.6%) -- 99.4% chance to 3HKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Tapu Lele Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 56 SpD Assault Vest Magnezone: 270-318 (78.4 - 92.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 SpA Blacephalon Flamethrower vs. 252 HP / 56 SpD Assault Vest Magnezone: 224-266 (65.1 - 77.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Weavile @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Pressure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Knock Off
- Triple Axel
- Ice Shard

Look at the S and A ranks, then back to Weavile. As you can see in the Gen 5 animated sprite that I've chosen for the obligatory visual for Weavile, it T-poses on the metagame. It sets up its own sweep by slapping everyone's items off in the early-mid game, then goes to town with its powerful STAB combo after an SD. The shiny form is a requirement.

:ss/kommo-o:

Kommo-o @ Salac Berry
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 132 HP / 124 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Substitute
- Belly Drum
- Drain Punch
- Earthquake

Kommo-o responds to the prevalence of Blacephalon and Dragapult with Bulletproof, setting up on choice-locked Shadow Ball with ease. At +6, Drain Punch and EQ rip through nearly everything in the tier. Kommo-o gets plenty of opportunities to set up against Pex, Ferrothorn, Heatran, and Blissey in addition to the ghosts. With Salac Berry, Kommo-o outspeed modest scarf Lele and Kyurem as well as Zeraora and Pult.

He loses to Lando-T and Zapdos, as well as unaware Clefable, but in the right situation, sub belly drum Kommo-o is extremely powerful.

Clefable @ Life Orb

EVs: 252 HP / 248 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled
- Thunder

Take a look at the top 100 teams in the metagame on babiri. How many of them have a consistent answer to this demon? all of the steel and fire types types in ou either cant hurt it or get nuked by thunder, all the while clefable can blanket check a huge list of offensive and defensive threats into the endgame and fire off hits. This thing is a demon to handle for most teams, and I'd be interested to see what the community can do to help it thrive.

Turns out we forgot about this but we are back from dead. With that being said you guys get to vote for the very first

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD

Careful Nature
- Spikes

- Knock Off
- Power Whip

- Leech Seed

Ferrothorn is a great partner, as it can help Blacephalon with wallbreaking due to it having Spikes and Knock Off in its arsenal, meaning it can Knock Off items such as Heavy-Duty Boots and Leftovers from opposing Pokemon making them more vulnerable to its Spikes, which it can set on the field. Power Whip damages Pokemon such as Tapu Fini and Gastrodon heavily, which otherwise could be troublesome for Blacephalon. Power Whip also hits Landorus-T and Garchomp neutral. Leech Seed can expand Ferrothorns ability to keep itself healthy in conjunction with Leftovers. Leech Seed can also be used on incoming Bug-, Flying-, and Fire-types to wear them down.

Slowbro is a great partner, as it can help Blacephalon with wallbreaking due to its powerful futur sights (it helps vs toxa + bliss for example). It is also able to walls most of dangerous blacephalon's revenge killer/check like urshifu weavile, ttar, spe def lando..exept dragapult, kartana and zeraora and actually damages a bunch of them with his strong body press like ttar, blissey and obviously ohko weavile. Defog will be required.

blacephalon needs quite a bit of support to work properly, mainly pivoting and hazard control. rotom-w can fulfill both of these needs while providing an answer to common blacephalon checks such as heatran, tornadus-t and urshifu-r. of course, rotom-w can leave defog to a teammate or give pain split up for a status move, which allows it to support blacephalon even further (twave slows down blace checks that may try to switch into rotom-w, such as pult and kartana; will-o-wisp allows it to cripple weavile and kartana yet again; toxic cripples gastrodon, which is a bit annoying for both). the main appeal of running defog rotom is that it matches up well vs common rockers, e.g. lando, heatran, garchomp and the few setters it can't stop (ferrothorn mainly) are one volt switch away from becoming easy blacephalon fodder. speaking of volt switch, it's the main support move for blace because it can't switch in at all by itself, and rotom-w happens to draw in ferrothorns and special sponges such as glowking and blissey, which are either blacephalon victims or checks that it needs worn down by other teammates.

also, s/o FangFoe for the spread, here is the explanation

Koko breaker for clown snowball.

Spread outspeed weavile,
HP significantly help benefits its shucca and CM to damage shared checks & counters.

Still need answers against Glowking Excadrill ; and improve matchup vs some AV (zone, melm) and opponent's koko.

Edit : oh, just forgot baloon exist, don't know wich item is better. Maybe both are equal ; I still prefer shucca.
