Heatmor is a niche wallbreaker that distinguishes itself through Fire Lash, able to wear down switch-ins like Miltank, Rhydon, and Palossand through repeated Defense drops. Knock Off provides general utility against counters like Qwilfish, Altaria, and Poliwrath, while also being its most reliable way of hitting Fire-types like Rapidash, Ninetales, and Coalossal. Sucker Punch picks off frail Ghost- and Psychic-types like Rotom, Jynx, and Froslass. Superpower is its strongest hit against Fire- and Rock-types like Coalossal and Rhydon, though it must be cautious of the stat drops the move incurs.

Checks and Counters

**Altaria**: Although annoyed by Knock Off and threatened by repeated uses of Fire Lash, Altaria can safely switch in and stall it out with Toxic and Roost.
**Water-types**: Water-types like Qwilfish, Poliwrath, and Kabutops outspeed and threaten it out with their STAB moves, while also resisting Fire Lash. However, Kabutops is vulnerable to Superpower.
**Rock-types**: Although vulnerable to coverage moves, Kabutops, Lycanroc-N, and Lunatone are able to easily outspeed and revenge kill it. Defensive Rock-types like Rhydon and Coalossal are able to tank its coverage moves and threaten it out with their own STAB moves.
