Falinks is unviable in SS ZU because it is outclassed by Sawk, which has much better Attack, higher Speed, and access to Knock Off to cripple its switch-ins.

Falinks attempts to act as a physical wallbreaker with its solid base Attack and Defiant to punish defoggers. However, this is not enough to overcome its competitor, Sawk, which has much better Attack and Speed stats, Mold Breaker to better deal with Levitate Pokemon like Rotom, Knock Off to cripple its switch-ins for its teammates, and coverage moves like Poison Jab to cover its weakness to Fairy-types.
