Speed Glitch?

Just got out of a battle where my Gyarados had gotten 2 Dragon Dances off and was against a Jolly Scarfed Flygon. Now my speed should be 522 (Adamant) and his 492 yet he still outsped and KO'd with Thunderpunch. I don't have the log with me but has anyone else experienced this?

what were its speed evs?if they were max (or close) it would be faster than you

Without the log and your team's EV info, we can't examine anything. Regardless, it was probably not a glitch but human error anyway.

What Chris said. It's likely that you were paralyzed or misapplied your Speed EVs (you'll want to check that). Most stat-related glitch reports are attributable to an oversight or human error.
