Heatran serves as an effective defensive pivot into Pokemon such as Tapu Lele, Tornadus-T, Victini, Mega Scizor lacking Close Combat, Volcarona, and Gholdengo. Magma Storm allows Heatran to trap and remove defensive Pokemon, such as Zapdos, Toxapex, and Skeledirge. Taunt allows Heatran to deny recovery from Pokemon such as Gastrodon, Clodsire, and Zapdos, making trapping them much more efficient, though it has to Terastallize for the former two. Earth Power provides consistent damage versus Pokemon such as Clodsire, Toxapex, and Gastrodon while also allowing Heatran to deal damage without running the risk of missing Magma Storm, particularly on its trapped opponents. Tera Grass allows Heatran to invalidate typical counterplay such as Gastrodon and Clodsire while also avoiding being revenge killed by Pokemon such as Landorus-T and Great Tusk. Taunt further bolsters Heatran's effective use of Tera, as it can avoid one of its only potential flaws in becoming vulnerable to Toxic. Heatran can also use Toxic itself to threaten Pokemon using it to set up, such as Garchomp and Dragonite while reducing longevity of Pokemon such as Pelipper, Mega Swampert, and opposing Terastallized Heatran. Tera Grass in conjunction with Flash Fire gives Heatran a unique defensive profile that lets it wall Pokemon such as Mega Charizard Y and opposing Heatran. Heatran must be careful with Tera usage, as Tera Grass can leave it vulnerable to Pokemon such as Volcarona and Tornadus-T. The given EV spread allows Heatran to outspeed uninvested Gholdengo while maximizing special bulk. Electric-types such as Tapu Koko, Zapdos, and Rotom-W appreciate Heatran’s ability to bait and remove popular Ground-types once Terastallized, such as Landorus-T, Clodsire, and Gastrodon, as well as heavily chippping Garchomp. Teammates such as Urshifu-R, Dragapult, and Mega Lopunny appreciate Heatran's ability to check Tapu Lele, taking its often choice locked STAB attacks and setting Stealth Rock or firing off a Magma Storm to force progress, benefitting its teammates. Pokemon such as Dragonite and Garchomp can benefit Heatran defensively with both punishing physical attackers such as Mega-Lopunny while also capitalizing on its wallbreaking potential. Heatran is also able to bait and eliminate Tera Fairy Skeledirge for these aforementioned teammates. Rotom-W defensively supports Heatran by preventing it from immediately Terastallizing to beat Clodsire, opposing Rotom-W, and Landorus-T if not desired, providing a safe switch. Heatran struggles to stay healthy in certain matchups versus offensive entry hazard-stacking teams that deny it from coming in freely without seriously chipping itself, so Defoggers like Tornadus-T benefit Heatran while also providing a Ground immunity. Heatran can take advantage of Choice-locked Grass types such as Rillaboom and Kartana when they are trying to hit Rotom-W, and Tornadus-T particularly likes Heatran's ability to check Zapdos and Tapu Koko. Heatran appreciates Pokemon who can soak up Fighting-type moves such as Great Tusk and Tangrowth as Heatran tends to invite in particularly strong revenge killers like Mega-Lopunny and opposing Great Tusk.

Heatran serves as an effective pivot into Pokemon such as Tapu Lele, Tornadus-Therian, Victini, Mega Scizor lacking Close Combat, Volcarona, and Gholdengo. Magma Storm allows Heatran to find incredible value by trapping and removing nearly any defensive Pokemon such as Blissey, Zapdos, Toxapex, and Skeledirge. Skeledirge, and Clefable. (its true but clef is so bad rn) Heatran can set Stealth Rock very effectively to support its teammates due to its advantageous matchup versus the premier Defogger in Tornadus-T, many premier Defog users such as Tornadus-Therian and Zapdos, (zap is not what id call a premier defogger rn) with even Rapid Spin Great Tusk Rapid Spin users such as Great Tusk and Cyclizar fearing switching into Heatran’s Magma Storm. (cyc runs bulk and can switch in okay, especially if boots) Taunt allows Heatran to deny recovery from Pokemon such as Chansey, Blissey, Gastrodon, Clodsire, and Zapdos, making trapping them much more efficient. mention tera grass needing to be used against gastro and clod though Earth Power provides consistent damage versus Pokemon such as Tyranitar (u still lose to this p hard, especially if eq, which they need for kingambit anyways. superpower still smacks as well. replace with something like clodsire) and Toxapex while also allowing Heatran to deal damage without running the risk of missing Magma Storm, particularly on its trapped opponents. toxic is slashed but u didn't mention it, add a mention to it here and explain what it hits. Tera Grass allows Heatran to invalidate typical counterplay such as Gastrodon and Clodsire, and also helps Heatran avoid being revenge-killed by Pokemon such as Landorus-T and Great Tusk Iron Treads whilst trapping and removing them. Taunt further bolsters Heatran's effective use of Tera as it can avoid one of its only potential flaws in becoming vulnerable to Toxic. Tera Grass in conjunction with Flash Fire gives Heatran a unique defensive profile that can change on a game-to-game basis, such as being able to wall Mega Charizard Y and opposing Heatran. The given EV spread allows Heatran to outspeed uninvested Gholdengo while maximizing special bulk. Electric-types such as Teammates who can utilize Volt Switch such as Tapu Koko, Zapdos, and Rotom-W , Rotom-Wash, and Iron Treads appreciate Heatran’s ability to bait and remove popular Ground-types such as Landorus-T, Clodsire, Gastrodon, and can heavily chip Garchomp. Teammates such as Urshifu-R, Dragapult, and Mega Lopunny appreciate Heatran's ability to check Tapu Lele in particular, as Heatran can take any attack while setting Stealth Rock or firing off a Magma Storm to benefit its teammates. Heatran must be careful with Tera usage, as Tera Grass can leave it vulnerable to Pokemon such as Volcarona and Tornadus-Therian. move this up to the tera grass + flash fire mention Heatran struggles to stay healthy in certain matchups, such as? as it can be worn down by hazards, specifically Toxic Spikes when using Tera. mention entry hazard removers Heatran's Magma Storm PP can be exploited by Pokemon using Protect or Substitute, such as Mega Sabeleye, Esparatha, and Mega Gyarados. this isn't exactly an issue that you should be listing here; id rly only put stuff here that teammates can help with

definitely add pokemon that help w matchups like washtom/dnite/garchomp, especially dnite chomp bc even if you tera you can hella lose those matchups. for washtom specifically mention it in regards to the team having an already dedicated tera user, which prevents heatran from terastallizing itself to beat it.

Heatran can also effectively wield Toxic to threaten Pokemon using it to setup such as Garchomp and Dragonite, while reducing longevity of Pokemon such as Pelipper, Mega Swampert, and opposing Terastallized Heatran.
mention washtom as a tox target as well

[[sealoo 517422]]
need a comma here

Teammates such as Dragonite and Garchomp can benefit Heatran defensively, while capitalizing on its breaking potential.
here i meant add pokemon that help against chomp and dnite, so mons like lando, ice spinner gtusk, etc

Rotom-W defensively supports Heatran by taking off some burden of Heatran being forced to use Tera Grass to beat Clodsire and Landorus-T if not desired, providing a safe switch.
same deal here

Heatran serves as an effective defensive pivot into Pokemon such as Tapu Lele, Tornadus-T, Victini, Mega Scizor lacking Close Combat, Volcarona, and Gholdengo. Magma Storm allows Heatran to find incredible value by trapping and removing nearly any defensive Pokemon such as Blissey use more viable examples, Zapdos, Toxapex, and Skeledirge. Heatran can set Stealth Rock very effectively to support its teammates due to its advantageous matchup versus the premier Defogger Tornadus T, with the common Rapid Spin Great Tusk fearing switching into Heatran’s Magma Storm. this feels like major fluff; people know what stealth rock does my g Taunt allows Heatran to deny recovery from Pokemon such as Gastrodon, Clodsire, and Zapdos, making trapping them much more efficient despite having to use Tera Terastallize for the former two. Earth Power provides consistent damage versus Pokemon such as Clodsire and Toxapex while also allowing Heatran to deal damage without running the risk of missing Magma Storm, particularly on its trapped opponents mention the opponents that ep is good against in general; not like where in the case where u can do super effective damage, just in general. Tera Grass allows Heatran to invalidate typical counterplay such as Gastrodon and Clodsire, while also helping Heatran avoid being revenge-killed by Pokemon such as Landorus-T and Great Tusk. Taunt further bolsters Heatran's effective use of Tera as it can avoid one of its only potential flaws in becoming vulnerable to Toxic. Heatran can also effectively wield Toxic to threaten Pokemon using it to setup such as Garchomp and Dragonite, while reducing longevity of Pokemon such as Pelipper, Mega Swampert, and opposing Terastallized Heatran. Tera Grass in conjunction with Flash Fire gives Heatran a unique defensive profile that can change on a game-to-game basis, such as being able to wall Mega Charizard Y and opposing Heatran. Heatran must be careful with Tera usage, as Tera Grass can leave it vulnerable to Pokemon such as Volcarona and Tornadus-T. The given EV spread allows Heatran to outspeed uninvested Gholdengo while maximizing special bulk. Electric-types such as Tapu Koko, Zapdos, and Rotom-W appreciate Heatran’s ability to bait and remove popular Ground-types once Terastallized such as Landorus-T, Clodsire, Gastrodon, and also can heavily decently chomp is a bulk bastard would it really be heavy chip EDIT: after testing this is good chip Garchomp. Teammates such as Urshifu-R, Dragapult, and Mega Lopunny appreciate Heatran's ability to check Tapu Lele in particular, as Heatran can take any attack while setting Stealth Rock or firing off a Magma Storm to benefit its force progress, benefiting Heatran's teammates. Teammates Pokemon such as Dragonite and Garchomp can benefit Heatran defensively explain why they do, while capitalizing on its breaking potential. Heatran is also able to bait and eliminate Dondozo for these aforementioned teammates. dozo sucks i would prob mention another mon like tera fairy dirge or smth else Rotom-W defensively supports Heatran by taking off some burden of Heatran being forced to use Tera Grass to beat Clodsire, opposing Rotom-W, and Landorus-T if not desired, providing a safe switch. Heatran struggles to stay healthy in certain matchups versus offensive hazard-stack that deny it from coming in freely without seriously chipping itself, so Defoggers like Tornadus-T not only benefit Heatran by providing a Ground immunity, but can also reliably keep Stealth Rock and Spikes hazards off the field. then elaborate on what heatran does for torn and washtom btw Heatran appreciates Pokemon who can soak up Fighting-type moves such as Great Tusk and Tangrowth as Heatran tends to invite in particularly strong revenge-killers like Mega Lopunny and opposing Great Tusk due to its weakness to Close Combat. with its Steel-typing.
