[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Mold Breaker Mega Latios is an incredibly powerful sweeper that threatens the vast majority of the metagame with its Soul Dew-boosted attacks. Spore and Dark Void allow for easier setup with Shell Smash while also heavily disrupting teams. Shell Smash bolsters Mega Latios's offensive prowess, boosting its Special Attack and Speed enough to OHKO bulky Pokemon such as Mega Audino after Stealth Rock, Primal Kyogre, Arceus, and Yveltal. The boost to Speed also lets Mega Latios outspeed every Pokemon in the metagame, bar some Choice Scarf users such as Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y. Psystrike and Spacial Rend complement each other well; Spacial Rend is the primary STAB move, and OHKOes or 2HKOes the majority of foes after Shell Smash, while Psystrike handles special walls like Blissey, Chansey, and Primal Kyogre and Ho-Oh more reliably. King's Shield is an option over Spore and Dark Void to improve Mega Latios's match up against priority revenge killers such as Shadow Tag Regigigas, Aerilate Mega Rayquaza, and Huge Power Mewtwo Mega X running Extreme Speed. King's Shield also has additional utility in letting Mega Latios scout sets from offensive Pokemon in a one-on-one situation. 96 Speed EVs allow Mega Latios to outspeed neutral natured base 90 Speed Pokemon. The rest is put into HP to maximize bulk.

Mega Latios, an offensive powerhouse, is generally run on fast offense and bulky offense teams. Mega Latios operates best on teams utilizing two Mold Breaker users, as Mega Latios lacks recovery and relies too much on its item to be a good standalone Mold Breaker user; in particular, it pairs well with other bulky Mold Breaker users like Primal Groudon and Mega Tyranitar. Mega Latio's weakness to Pursuit users such as Mega Gyarados, Mega Tyranitar, and Yveltal means it wants to be paired with checks to these such as Xerneas or Shadow Tag Mewtwo Mega X. It also likes Pokemon that can deal with very specially bulky Pokemon such as Blissey, Chansey, Ho-oh, and some Primal Kyogre variants, as these can tank Mega Latio's attacks decently; physical wallbreakers like Huge Power Mega Mewtwo X or Mega Gyarados can be paired with Mega Latios to fix this issue. Running a revenge killer alongside Mega Latios, such as an -ate user or Shadow Tag Regigigas, can be helpful versus Imposter users, as Pokemon that can safely Imposter-proof Mega Latios are very rare, and offensive Imposter-proofing is usually more effective. If running an -ate user, entry hazards like Stealth Rock are useful to keep up the pressure. Substitute + Wonder Guard Pokemon typically also run Defog and Aromatherapy to help keep Mega Latios and other Mold Breaker Pokemon healthy over the course of longer games.

Other Options
=============
Mold Breaker Mega Latios is powerful enough with Soul Dew that it can run all-out attacking sets with Volt Switch and other coverage and STAB moves. Draco Meteor and Psycho Boost are alternative options on all-out attacking sets; both moves allow it to OHKO Primal Groudon and the latter OHKOes Wonder Guard Xerneas. Protean Mega Latios can invest more EVs into HP to live more hits against opposing Shadow Tag users. Protean Mega Latios can run a timid nature to outspeed most opposing Mega Latios and Mega Diancie at the cost of worse KO rolls on various Wonder Guard users and Giratina with super effective attacks. Other coverage moves may be used on Protean Mega Latios based on team needs.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Priority Attackers:** Mega Latios's most significant threats are priority attackers that can revenge kill it like Shadow Tag Regigigas, -ate Speed users, and Huge Power + Extreme Speed attackers like Regigigas, Primal Groudon, Mega Mewtwo X., and Huge Power Dark-type Pokemon can cause mind games with the combination of Sucker Punch + Pursuit

**Offensive Shadow Tag Users:** Shadow Tag users such as Mega Mewtwo X and Choice Scarfed Primal Groudon can outspeed and deal immense damage to Mega Latios or remove its Soul Dew with Trick. However, they cannot come in safely on Mold Breaker Mega Latios.

**Pursuit Users:** Many Pursuit users, like -Ate Speed users and Huge Power Mega Gyarados, also carry moves to threaten Mega Latios, leading to coinflip scenarios where it can either be OHKOed by the opponent's powerful attacks or a switching-boosted Pursuit

**Item Removal:** Getting rid of the source of Mega Latios's power via Knock Off or Trick makes it much less effective.

**Imposter Users:** It is difficult to Imposter-proof Mold Breaker Mega Latios, as very little can survive attacks from it while boosted. Choice Scarf imposter variants are still able to KO your Mega Latios despite the Special Defense boost from Soul Dew.

**Prankster Users:** Most Prankster Users cannot safely switch into Mega Latios's attack, but can lock Mold Breaker variants into Shell Smash with Encore or use Destiny Bond, Glare, or Curse as an emergency stop.

**Magic Guard Ho-Oh:** While rare, Magic Guard Ho-Oh can wall most Protean Mega Latios with its good typing and phenomenal special bulk, annoying it with status spreading in Psycho Shift. However, Ho-Oh is usually easily threatened by a physical Mold Breaker, Huge Power Pursuit user, or physical Shadow Tag user.

**Fast Mold Breaker Users:** Fast Mold Breaker users like Mega Gengar and Mega Rayquaza can outspeed Mega Latios and either put it to sleep or OHKO it while still threatening damage to the rest of its team.

Mold Breaker Mega Latios is the single most powerful Mold Breaker sweeper in the metagame, striking fear into the opponent's soul by rending the vast majority of the metagame into pieces with its Soul Dew-boosted attacks. Spore or and Dark vVoid allows for easier setup with Shell Smash or Quiver Dance while also causing great overall disruption to teams providing team support by putting switch-ins that beat Mega Latios in a one-on-one situation to sleep. i think you know switch-ins to latios dont exist but reworded just in case Shell Smash is key here for bolsters Mega Latios's offensive prowess, boosting its Special Attack and Speed to skyrocketing Special Attack and Speed levels and allowing it to break through OHKO many bulky Pokemon such as like Mega Audino after Stealth Rock, Primal Kyogre, Arceus, and Yveltal. as well as Mega Latios's Speed being boosted by Shell Smash also allows it to outspeeding every pPokemon in the metagame, and bar some cChoice sScarf users such as Groudon Primal Groudon and Rayquaza Mega Rayquaza. it's Mega Mewtwo X, Primal Groudon etc for future reference Psystrke and Spacial rRend flow toge complement each other well. hitting what the other doesn't as well as having the extra benefit of beating Chansey and Blissey with Psystrike. describe what spacial rend does here Additionally, Psystrike targets potential switch-ins in Blissey and Chansey, as some Pokemon that would otherwise take a boosted hit from Mega Latios, like specially defensive Primal Kyogre and Ho-Oh. moved Lastly, King's Shield is an option over a sleep move Spore and Dark Void to improve Mega Latios's match-up with against priority revenge killers such as Shadow Tag Regigigas, -Aerilate Mega Rayquaza, Extreme Speed Huge Power Mewtwo-Mega-X running Extreme Speed, and is good for scouting move sets. King's Shield also has additional utility in letting Mega Latios scout sets from offensive Pokemon in a one-on-one situation. 96 Speed EVs allow Mega Latios to outspeed Pokemon running maximum speed investment with base 90' speed without a boosting nature, such as Dialga and Primal Groudon. 160 HP investment synergizes well with King's Shield and maximizes its overall bulk. any way to combine speed/attack investment statements into one sentence? Maximum Special Attack with a boosting nature ensures maximum damage output possible. no need to explain max invest

Mega Latios, being an offensive powerhouse, is generally run on faster offense and bulky offense teams. While Mega Latios does have good Special Defense it still very much enjoys pivoting or passed substitutes from Wonder Guard users as it's vulnerable to most revenge killers even when healthy examples?. Mega Latios enjoys having teammates that can deal with physical attackers that threaten it in a one-on-one situation, such as Shadow Tag Mewtwo-Mega-X,-ate Speed users, and Shadow Tag Regigigas latios wont be able to switch vs stags, add another example.

this is gonna be long so ima make suggestions below

add an entire section on don/gira/xern/gyarados because latios enjoys all of these as partners. don threatens defensive mons that "come in" on latios like registeel/yve and can force gira in + both smash and band variants can run uturn to retain momentum; gira can prevent most subpass strategies, come in on huge power mmx/moldy ray/whatever faster threats threaten latios, and dbond some offensive sucker on the opposing team like gyarados or the aforementioned offensive mons. xern provides subpass support + can para foes/set rocks + force prankster out. gyarados pursuits choiced stags + revenges opposing smashed mons.

the first thing mentioned (after the first sentence) should probably be that latios LOVES dual moldy structures because its a shaky moldy on its own without team support. also mention stags as partners to murder lefties xern/stag mmx can bring gira in vs shed shell mons/other ghosts. defensive wgs can provide defog/aroma/pivoting/wish support for latios. rocks mons like ates/defensive wgs/physical moldies like don/ttar can help latios pressure the opp more effectively.

Other Options

In exchange for place of Spacial Rend or Psystrike, Mega Latios can go for running Searing Shot to better target bulky steels Steel-types, like Registeel and Wonder Guard Mega Scizor. give more examples if you can hHowever, Psystrike generally is so strong powerful enough that it still OHKO's or at least 2HKO'es the majority of steel Steel-types after a Shell Smash, making this more fringe option over your main stabs.. fluff + searing shot isnt that niche Mega Latios also may forgo its sleep move or King's Shield for hazards but generally, though the disruption of that sleep provides as well as the protection of that Kings Shield offers or the disruption of sleep generally put sleep first to make this more consistent allows Mega Latiosa much easier to set up more effectively. Mega Latios lastly is strong powerful enough that it may go for can opt to run 4 attack sets, making use of Mega Latios's Soul Dew-boosted Special Attack to effectively dish out damage with Psystrike, Spacial Rend, Volt Switch, and either Searing Shot or Oblivion Wing. i imagine this is the case, i remember berry using owing 4a lati but it seems weird so i put searing first hHowever, no utility in forgoing the utility that Spore, Dark Void, Shell Smash, and King's Shield, no sleep move, and no Shell smash provide means that Mega Latios lacks a lot of access to the sweeping some teams ability it would have with Shell Smash, sleep, and defensive utility. i think this is what you meant, your wording was unclear though However, if using 4 attack sets you may try and use Mega Latios more of a Choice Specs hit and run set, and can also use Draco mMeteor or and Psycho bBoost on these sets but have to are alternative options on sets running 4 attacks, as both moves allow Mega Latios to OHKO standard Primal Groudon, and the latter OHKOes Wonder Guard Xerneas; however, their adverse effects mean Mega Latios is usually forced to switch out usually afterward due to heavy Special Attack drop. clarified

mention choice scarf due to the surprise factor/possibly secret sword as coverage for blobs + steels. also mention latios can run timid/max speed as well as max hp to further bolster its overall bulk

Checks and Counters
===================
**Priority Attackers**: (missing colon) Mega Latios's (add space) biggest threats are priority attackers that can revenge kill it, in like Shadow Tag Regigigas, -ate Speed users, or and other Huge Power Extreme Speed attackers in Groudon Primal or Mewtwo-Mega-X like Slaking, Regigigas, Primal Groudon, and Mega Mewtwo X. mention that kings lati can mostly mitigate prio users' revenging ability; i would also spare a sentence for sucker gyarados because that things SCARY

**Imposter Users**: (missing colon) Imposter Chansey is a very dangerous threat as it's almost impossible relatively difficult to Imposter-Pproof Mega Latios because of its insanely high stats and very little that can safely switch into it. The most dangerous Imposter variants are Choice Scarf variants are especially dangerous, as even a Eviolite Imposter Chansey with Evolite transformed into a Shell Smashed Latios has a chance to be is OHKoOed because of how high Mega Latios's special attack stat is if both Chansey and Mega Latios are boosted. your call but you could mention random imposters because those are scary too

**Prankster Pokemon Users**: (missing colon) The Mmost prevalent Prankster Pokemon user such as in Giratina can't directly come safely switch in on Mega Latios's attacks; however, with extreme predictions they it can come in on a Shell Smash prediction and lock Mega Latios into Shell Smash with eEncore. They Prankster Giratina also can use Destiny Bond as an emergency stop to Mega Latios. Other Prankster users, like Yveltal and the occasional Registeel, can come in on unboosted Mega Latios, though they can get put to sleep by Spore or Dark Void and overwhelmed. However, this requires a lot more predictions and isn't overall as reliable as other revenge killers or Imposters Prankster users are relatively shaky checks to Mega Latios and so should be used as a secondary countermeasure complementing a revenge killer. think this is what you meant

**Offensive Shadow Tag Users**: stag mmx among others can outspeed + ko unboosted latios, though kings variants can live knock/play rough etc. scarf mmy/rare jolly scarf mmx stag variants can outspeed standard smashed latios + revenge as well

Mold Breaker Mega Latios is the single most powerful Mold Breaker sweeper in the metagame, striking fear into the opponent's soul by rending the vast majority of the metagame into pieces with its Soul Dew-boosted attacks. not sure if that wording will be liked by gp, might be worth it to change to something more straightforward Spore and Dark Void allow for easier setup with Shell Smash or Quiver Dance while also causing great overall disruption to teams. Shell Smash bolsters Mega Latios's offensive prowess, boosting its Special Attack and Speed to skyrocketing levels and allowing it to OHKO bulky Pokemon such as Mega Audino after Stealth Rock, Primal Kyogre, Arceus, and Yveltal. Mega Latios's Speed being boosted by Shell Smash also allows it to outspeed every Pokemon in the metagame, bar some Choice Scarf users such as Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y. Psystrke and Spacial Rend complement each other well. Spacial Rend is your primary stab OHKOing or 2HKOing the entire metagame after a Shell Smash and even has a slightly higher crit rate than most moves. Additionally, Psystrike targets what Spacial Rend doesn't such as Blissey, Chansey, and specially defensive Primal Kyogre and Ho-Oh. Lastly, King's Shield is an option over Spore and Dark Void to improve Mega Latios's match-up against priority revenge killers such as Shadow Tag Regigigas, -Aerilate Mega Rayquaza, and Huge Power Mewtwo Mega X running Extreme Speed. Mega Latios, being an offensive powerhouse, is generally run on faster offense and bulky offense teams. While Mega Latios has good Special Defense, it still enjoys pivoting or passed substitutes from slow Wonder Guard users such as Mega Audino, Xerneas, and Ferrothorn. As it's vulnerable to most revenge killers even when healthy, such as Shadow Tag Regigigas, Imposter, and -ate users and generally Mega Latios wants to get onto the field safely. Specially defensive Pokemon that can come in after a KO, like Yveltal, and Ho-oh are able to force unboosted Mold Breaker Mega Latios out in a 1v1 situation by either tanking or using Knock off heavily hindering Mega Latios, so physical Mold Breaker users such as Primal Groudon, Mega Tyranitar, and Mega Rayquaza are good partners for it. mention defog or wish support bc in longer games lati struggles to get in and heal up. Also mention having an imposterproof pokemon like your own stag or -ate to at least have a fighting chance vs scarf imp

Stealth Rock, Spikes, and Toxic Spikes are also options over a 4th attack to take advantage of Mega Latios's ability to force switches without setup. mention a pivot like volt switch on 4atks Also, Sticky Web aids slower potential Mold Breaker teammates, like Primal Groudon and Mega Tyranitar, as well as Mega Latios itself. Lastly, Choice Scarf sets with its choice of Psystrike, Spacial Rend, Draco Meteor, Psycho Boost, and Volt Switch may be used as Mega Latios is so reliant on Soul Dew that it can surprise many opponents however the drop in power is very significant.

(how though? if there's any like, specific calc this changes, I guess you could keep it. but otherwise the second part of this sentence is fairly obvious and stating the first part doesn't mean a lot on its own imo)

Mega Latios, being an offensive powerhouse, is generally run on faster offense and bulky offense teams. Mega Latios operates best on teams utilizing two Mold Breaker users, as Mega Latios isn't a good standalone Mold Breaker user with its heavy reliance on its item and being unable to fit recovery into its set. as Mega Latios is a weaker option for a standalone Mold Breaker user due to a heightened reliance on its item as well as a lack of moveslots to run recovery. King's Shield is an option over Spore and Dark Void to improve Mega Latios's match-(hyphen)up against priority revenge killers such as Shadow Tag Regigigas, Aerilate Mega Rayquaza, and Huge Power Mewtwo Mega X running Extreme Speed. King's Shield also has additional utility in letting Mega Latios scout sets from offensive Pokemon in a one-on-one situation.(bold) 96 Speed EVs allow Mega Latios to outspeed neutral natured base 90 Speed Pokemon.maximum speed base 90s that lack a boosting nature. The rest is put into HP to maximize bulk.

Mega Latios, being an offensive powerhouse, is generally run on faster offense and bulky offense teams. Mega Latio'(remove)s operates best on teams utilizing two Mold Breaker users, as Mega Latios lacks recovery and relies too much on its item to be isn't a good standalone Mold Breaker user; in particular, it pairs well with other bulky Mold Breaker users like Primal Groudon and Mega Tyranitar.. with its heavy reliance on its item and being unable to fit recovery into its set. It likes to be paired with more bulky Mold Breakers such as Primal Groudon and Mega Tyranitar. Mega Latios's weakness also being heavily weak to Pursuit users such as Mega Gyarados, Mega Tyranitar,(comma) and Yveltal means it wants to be paired with checks to these such as Xerneas or Shadow Tag Mewtwo Mega X. It also likes Pokemon that can deal with very specially bulky Pokemon such as Blissey, Chansey, Ho-oh,(comma) and some Primal Kyogre variants, as these can tank Mega Latio's attacks decently;(semicolon). Pp(lowercase)hysical wallbreakers like Huge Power Mega Mewtwo X or Mega Gyarados can be paired alongsidewith Mega Latios to fix this issue. Running a revenge killer alongside Mega Latios, such as an -ate user or Shadow Tag Regigigas, can be helpful versus Imposter users,(comma) as Pokemon that can safely Imposter-proof Mega Latios are very rare, and offensive Imposter-proofing is usually more effective.

=============
In place of Spacial Rend or Psystrike, Mega Latios can run Searing Shot to better threaten bulky Steel-types like Registeel, Wonder Guard Mega Scizor, and Wonder Guard Ferrothorn. However, Psystrike is powerful enough that it still at least 2HKOes the majority of Steel-types after a Shell Smash. Mega Latios also may forgo its sleep move or King'(bold)s Shield for entry hazards though the disruption and protection from sleep moves and King's Shield, respectively, allow that sleep provides as well as the protection that Kings Shield offers allows Mega Latios to set up more effectively. Mega Latios is powerful enough that it can opt to run all-out attacking sets,(bold) making use of its Soul Dew-boosted Psystrike and Spacial Rend in particular, with Searing Shot and Volt switch providing coverage and pivoting, respectively. attack to effectively dish out damage with Psystrike, Spacial Rend, and Searing shot, with Volt Switch to pivot out more easily as well. However,(bold) forgoing the utility that Spore, Dark Void, Shell Smash, and King'(bold)s Shield,(comma) provide means that Mega Latios lacks the sweeping ability that it would have with them.Shell Smash, sleep, and defensive utility. Draco Meteor and Psycho Boost are alternative options on all-out attacking sets, as ;(semicolon) both moves allow Mega Latios to OHKO standard Primal Groudon, and the latter OHKOes Wonder Guard Xerneas. However, their adverse effects mean Mega Latios is usually forced to switch out. Entry hazards can be used instead of a fourth attack Stealth Rock, Spikes, and Toxic Spikes are also options over a fourth attack to take advantage of Mega Latios's ability to force switches without setup;(semicolon) notably,.(period) Sticky Web aidshelps Mega Latios and potential Mold Breaker teammates which are slower,(comma) potential Mold Breaker teammates, like Primal Groudon and Mega Tyranitar.(period), as well as Mega Latios itself. (Honestly, noting that sticky web helps it + slower mons seems like a dex info moment, but if you feel it's relevant enough to name specific examples, it's okay to leave in) Baton Pass is an option over Volt Switch for pivoting as thisthat allows Mega Latios to escape deadly pPursuit users such as Mega Gyarados, Yveltal, and Mega Tyranitar in a safe manner. However, be aware that Baton Pass is less sufficient at spreading chip damage when used overthan Volt Switch. Lastly, Choice Scarf sets with their choice of Psystrike, Spacial Rend, Draco Meteor, Psycho Boost, Trick, and Volt Switch may be used, as Soul Dew Mega Latios is so commonreliant on Soul Dew that it can surprise or hinder foes with a well-timed Trick;(semicolon) however the drop in power is very significant.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Priority Attackers**: Mega Latios's most significant threats are priority attackers that can revenge kill it like Shadow Tag Regigigas, -ate Speed users, and (space)Huge Power Extreme Speed attackers like Regigigas, Primal Groudon, and Mega Mewtwo X. Sucker Punch users inlike Mega Gyarados, Mega Tyranitar, orand Yveltal can cause mind(space)games in a one-on-one1v1 situation, threatening an OHKO in combination with Pursuit.

**Imposter Users**: (space)Imposter Chansey is a very dangerous threat,(comma) as it's relatively difficult to Imposter-proof Mega Latios;(semicolon) as very little can survive attacks from a boosted Mega Latios, and Choice Scarf variants are still able to KO your Mega Latios despite the Special Defense boost from Soul Dew. boosted Latios attacks and Choice Scarf variants are even more dangerous as even with Soul Dew Latios can't survive their own attacks.

**Prankster Users**: (space)Giratina, the most prevalent Prankster user, cannot safely switch into Mega Latios's attacks; however, it can switch in after a predicted Shell Smash and use Encore.The most prevalent Prankster user in Giratina can't safely switch in on Mega Latios's attacks. However, it can come in on a Shell Smash prediction and lock Mega Latios into it. Prankster Giratina also can use Destiny Bond as an emergency stop to Mega Latios. Other Prankster users, such as the occasional Registeel, can come in on unboosted Mega Latios, thoughbut they are susceptible to being overwhelmed after Mega Latios puts them to sleep. can get put to sleep by Spore or Dark Void and overwhelmed. However, Prankster users are relatively shaky checks to Mega Latios and so should be used as a secondary countermeasure complementing a revenge killer.

**Offensive Shadow Tag Users**: Shadow Tag users such as Mega Mewtwo X can outspeed and OHKO Mega Latios. However, they have trouble coming in and only check unboosted Mega Latios.
