I thought this would not stop going,
my time was now.
What was pure is no longer flowing,
so I beg the question how?
I am the underdog,
the lone wolf.
But I fear it is another's to hog,
their's to engulf.
I have too much false hope,
my faith at the clutches of fate.
Thinning is the supporting rope,
it is nearly too late.
Now the crowd begins to think clear
it is no longer hot.
The time was always here,
my opportunity is now is it not?
My dream is not over yet,
the sun has almost set...
