I want this round to go by much smoother! So, here's are some recommendations on finding your opponent and setting up your battle.

1. Immediately send a PM to your opponent using the Smogon Private Message System.
2. Contact your opponent via IRC. This is extremely recommended. For help on connecting to IRC and joining #smogon, please resource the Smogon IRC FAQs.
3. Contact via an Instant Messenger Service such as AIM or MSN.
4. E-Mail your opponent if available.
5. Wait on Shoddy Battle and spy your opponent.

Battles begin on Friday, January 25th, 9am, PST. The deadline for R2 is Sunday, February 3rd, 8:59pm, PST. There will be no subs this round. So if you need to forfeit, be sure to think it over.

Blue Kirby is a well-known contributor to Smogon and no slouch when it comes to battling. JesiahTEG may just be the best battler that none of you have ever heard of. This promises to be an excellent match.

Jabba is an underrated battler, and everyone knows what Giga Punch is capable of.

Karrot doesn't get nearly the recognition he deserves for his skill. Everyone hates Curt, but he's clearly no newbie.

Ooh skarm vs. Loki looks good. First round exit in st3 vs st3 winner. I know skarm's sussed for DP but I don't really know much on Loki (but I didn't even know him in ADV >.>). GL to all and kinda happy I don't have to play Batpig (destroys me at ADV uu which really has nothing to do with this) and never heard of n3ther. If I manage to win I'm still gonna lose to Seph or ipl next round... PMing n3ther probably tomorrow.

We are going by Smogon Tiers. The URL to the Uber Tier List can be found in the original thread. No on any Deoxys Form. I'll write up some FAQ on extra features for IRC which xChat should have has as well. Also, if any issue comes up with IRC, I'll let you know on this thread.
