Playoff Scenarios: Smogon Snake IV (partnered with lyd:blobnom: )

Lindworms
  • They only qualify if they ban Bushtush
Rattlers
  • If they win against the Astrotias, they need the following to clinch:
    • :blobnom:
  • If they tie against the Astrotias, they need the following to clinch:
    • :blobnom:
  • If they lose against the Astrotias, NONE of these can happen to clinch:
    • Leviathans win or tie vs Taipans
    • Nagas win and overtake their lack of a +8 BD on the Rattlers
    • Serpents win and overtake their lack of a +14 BD on the Rattlers
Leviathans
  • If they win against the Taipans, they clinch UNLESS ALL three of these happen:
    • Cobras win or tie against the Nagas
    • Rattlers win against the Astrotias
    • Mambas win against the Lindworms with 2 more wins than the Leviathans do against the Taipans [Ex: Leviathans 6-4 and Mambas 8-2]
      • This means that if the Leviathans win 9-1 or better they clinch no matter what
  • If they tie against the Taipans, they clinch UNLESS TWO OF THESE THREE happen:
    • Rattlers tie or win
    • Astrotias win 7-3 or better
    • Mambas win and eclipse their lack of +2 BD on the Leviathans
  • If they lose against the Taipans, they need the following to clinch:
    • Mambas lose vs the Lindworms and don't eclipse their lack of +2 BD on the Leviathans
    • Rattles win against the Astrotias or tie against the Astrotias while the Leviathans only lose 6-4
    • Nagas lose or tie vs the Cobras while Leviathans don't collapse their +8 BD on the Nagas
    • Serpents lose or tie vs Bushmasters
Astrotias
  • If they win against the Rattlers, two of the following CANNOT happen to clinch:
    • Leviathans win against the Taipans
    • Mambas win against the Lindworms with more BD than the Astrotias on the Rattlers
    • Nagas win against the Cobras 10-0 while the Astrotias only win 6-4 against the Rattlers
  • If they tie against the Rattlers, they need the following to clinch:
    • Leviathans lose to the Taipans
    • Mambas lose to the Lindworms
    • Nagas tie or lose to the Cobras
    • Serpents tie or lose to the Bushmasters
  • If they lose against the Rattlers, they need the following to clinch:
    • :psysad:
Taipans
  • If they win against the Leviathans, all of the following need to happen to clinch:
    • Need to win hard enough to close +16 BD on the Leviathans
    • Lindworms win against the Mambas and the Taipans close their +14 BD against the Mambas
    • Rattlers win against the Astrotias
    • Cobras win against the Nagas
    • Bushmasters win against the Serpents

And last but not least, here's a sheet with all the possible outcomes for the week:

CHANGELOG 1: Fixed the Mambas's differential due to the three act wins of week 8.

OU: lax vs BIHI: lax could lose 10 in a row and id still probably bold him against most people. Being his team needs to do well to advance I anticipate he will be motivated so pretty big edge here.
OU: Samqian vs Raiza: I think sammy closes out the tour strong when his team needs it.
OU: talah vs Tace: Going with the hot hand here think its likely talah brings something a bit off meta to counter a fatter balance
OU: Kebab mlml vs Finchinator: I think Finch is really gonna want to win this one against an Italian and to get back on track. Kebab can be very hard to prep for and play at times I think this game is very close.

OU: Vaboh vs Leo: I think leo is a bit better
OU: Tamahome vs Bloody alfa: Tama has been lights out all tour and I think it continues here
OU: Star vs Kingler: Not sure if loaf has played any ou but I'm guess he will roll up with some kind of Ho and I believe star has a very good win rate against Ho this tour
OU: watashi vs qsns: dont really know qsns think he's a doubles fella

OU: Rexus vs Eeveeto: Rexus has been really good and I still think of eeveeto as kind of someone who wins or loses at the builder
OU: BK vs High Impulse: Much better player I think
OU: John W vs Void: Johns very good and he has started to diversify his team choices which I think is only going to help him moving forward
OU: ramboss vs dice: Dice got his first win with a danger HO and the monkey expecting two wild teams in this one but going with ramboss

OU: Bobby Dagen vs dcae: the artist formerly known as rodri should take this I reckon
OU: Gefährlicher Random vs beatiful: Bea is on fire but gefahrlicher is also very good should be a good one
OU: xray vs Eo Ut Mortus: Eo has been stellar dont think I would pick anyone in this tour against him right now
OU: LittleBigPlanet2 vs Garay oak: As I said last week I think garay is really becoming a force in OU

OU: Sacri' vs TPP: I think sacri is more comfortable in tours right now I think TPP will continue to improve the more games he plays however
OU: Regnite vs HANTSUKI: Putting L2P in your win post almost certainly will result in a loss the following week especially if you are not performing exceptionally on top of it.
OU: ima vs mncmt: small set back this past week although it could have been ima just setting up the 8-3 because he does not want to lose in playoffs
OU: robjr vs 1 True Lycan: No real conviction with this one Id like to see the baron win

And now that that's out of the way, let's get some lower tier predictions going.

:thundurus-therian: Rumble Hall Rattlers (3) vs Ambrette Astrotias (2) :milotic:
UU: CBU (49) vs Accelgor (51)
A great matchup between two veterans, literally and figuratively. CBU has picked things up lately, while Accel's on a little more of a downward spiral. The reason I'm bolding him is because I know that he's as good as anyone at clutching things up when he really needs to, and the Astrotias really need him to show up this week. CBU's been quite a bit more impressive than usual in the builder, which is always nice to see, but I've rated Accel's builds highest out of anyone in this pool (excluding my own, of course!!) and his play has been really solid to match. Highlight game for sure.

RU: Ajna (51) vs Feliburn (49)
Another extremely close game between two people who've been playing RU since I was in diapers. Like many others, I view Ajna as the best player in the RU pool, and his 6-2 tear this Snake has shown that it's far from a bold claim. Feli has picked it up too though; it really can't be understated how phenomenal a 7-1 record is, being tied with Eo and Serene for the highest out of anyone in the tournament. Naturally, this makes for an super exciting matchup. I'm favouring Ajna moreso out of personal bias than any skill discrepancy, but I think this is without a doubt the closest matchup of this series and probably the best matchup of the week as a whole in any tier.

NU: bugzinator (??) vs Bouff (??)
Can't give exact percentages here bc Bouff is an unknown quantity in NU to me, but bugzi's been very, very good, being a part of the big three of the Rattlers alongside Serene and Ajna who, alongside bugzi, have set the Rattlers on a smooth course towards playoffs. Bouff is one of my favourite people on this site to talk to and I've really never seen anyone with such sheer enthusiasm for these tournaments, his level of dedication is insane. If he can translate that dedication to general tournament work into dedication to his preparation for this week, I think he'll have a good shot at taking this game - the skill discrepancy between these two shouldn't be too huge. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

PU: Vulpix03 (45) vs z0mOG (55)
z0mOG has actually looked surprisingly solid in these lower tiers, to the surprise of myself and probably many others. He's been consistently good at piloting what I assume to be quality teams crafted by the mastermind keppy (and Accel that one time he played UU), bringing the Astros out of some tight spaces. Vulpix has looked pretty good too, sitting on a 3-2 record in PU with self-built teams that generally look pretty solid to me, though I'm not really an expert on the tier. I don't really have any significant conviction here, my instincts just tell me z0m will pull through when his team needs him to most.

LC: Serene Grace (55) vs LilyAC (45)
Lily is literally one of my favourite people and I really, really want her to win this, but man does Serene look unbeatable rn. I think he's without a doubt the best SS LC player out there, and his record shows it. Lily's obviously been great too, as she always is. I really can't wait to watch this bc I know that there's gonna be some unique countertechs here that'll probably decide the winner, and both of these players are excellent at coming up with those. Serene's just been more consistent, but this could go either way.

Very close series overall, would not be surprised at all if I was wrong about any of these.

:giratina-origin: Shinto Ruin Serpents (2) vs Berry Forest Bushmasters (3) :serperior:
Not serious matchups so I'm not doing super detailed predicts sry

UU: Askov vs frisoeva
Askov's probably out for blood but friso looked pretty solid in his game vs booty last week, despite a borderline unwinnable matchup. Rest Goon is the coolest thing ever, can't be too mad about that one. Just gonna favour Askov bc I think he has more experience in the tier.

RU: Malekith vs Lopunny Kicks
I mean punny won RU open, surely he knows what he's doing here. Right???

NU: Jrdn vs Sensei Axew
FOR THE GAYS

PU: obii vs pokemonisfun
Realistically I probably should be bolding obii here given how consistent he's been, to the shock of many. I want pif to win though. It hurts my heart to see him winless.

LC: Mazinger vs CyberOdin✝
Mazinger beat me in LC open but Odin nearly took Wail out with a sample team from July. I'm favouring Mazinger because the Mienfoo gif helps me when I've had bad days.

:gyarados: Lake of Rage Leviathans (1) vs Terminus Taipans (4) :zygarde:
UU: hs (40) vs Adaam (60)
I will bold Adaam no matter what. Aside from being one of the coolest people on the site who gave me a pep talk when I was feeling down last week, he also happens to be the best UU player the tier has to offer. hs has been no slouch, and he's not afraid to be creative. He's picking up scattered wins with unexpected wincons that seem to always have the perfect matchup, which is a testament to his building ability. I can't see those tricks working against someone as experienced and skilled as Adaam, but I could certainly be proven wrong.

RU: odr (60) vs Expulso (40)
odr tactically dodged the seemingly unstoppable Feliburn last week after his team had already won the week, which is a move I can respect. He also has multiple very cute cats, which is a plus. Unfortunately, he's met his match; Expulso has adorable dogs, and I'm a dog person. Unfortunately, those pets can't quite carry you in the Smogon Snake Draft, but thankfully these guys are skilled enough regardless. odr is probably just the better player overall, though Expulso isn't looking poor either. They're both sitting on 3-4 records right now, and both seem to have pretty good momentum going forward. My heart says odr takes it, I know he'll want to finish out positive, but Expulso could manage it with a creative enough team!

NU: Kushalos (49) vs aim (51)
Joey has been incredibly impressive in this tier, sporting a phenomenal 6-2 record that's been an important part of keeping the Taipan's season alive, even if they're basically a walking corpse at this point. In fact, only one player has a better record in the NU pool... and it's Kushalos. Both of these players have really just looked amazing, but Joey's creative builds should save him here, I think. There's nothing that's gonna surprise the chef, but you can't pull the wool over Joey's eyes either. I believe in PDT to come up with some heat to end off the season. Looking forward to it.

PU: Hamhamhamhamham (35) vs tlenit (65)
Ham seems like he's starting to struggle a bit here, while tlenit has looked just as good as ever. Despite an unfortunate loss to Kink last week off the back of a SpD drop, he seems as motivated and ever and should be able to handle this matchup just fine. He's got a lot of love for the game, so I don't think he'll be too demotivated just yet. Don't know PU enough to say much about the quality of Ham's teams but they've seemed ok, tlenit's are full of crackhead shit but hey they work so. Reasonable edge.

LC: Xizaaa (45) vs Osh (55)
Osh picked up a win last week after what felt like forever, though I'm told there was some fortune involved in that. I still don't see him being too motivated in a game that doesn't really matter all things considered, so Xizaaa probably should take this, but he's just looked... off. I'm not sure what it is, but he seems like he's been struggling somewhere, either in the builder or on the battlefield. If Xizaaa can get things straight this week and pick up a win when his team needs it most, I think it'll be great for his confidence going into potential playoffs, but I'm favouring Osh for now.

:steelix: Black City Mambas (5) vs Sky Tower Lindworms (0) :rayquaza:
UU: Sabella (60) vs Moutemoute (40)
Mootx2 absolutely smoked me last week with broken ass glowbro in a matchup I probably shouldn't have lost, and I'm still malding 2 days later. Booty on the other hand pulled an absolutely amazing matchup with a tech we both independently created upon realising our opponents are stall lords. I think we both have enormous brains. I haven't seen enough of Moute in official things to really have an accurate gauge of his skill, and while his game vs Adaam didn't inspire too much confidence, he put me in the ground so he's probably gonna manage to do big things. Favouring booty regardless, his momentum is just too much and I know he's tryharding this week too, while Moute doesn't have to.

RU: eifo (60) vs Pepeduce (40)
eifo was robbed of the opportunity to play Ramo last week due to scheduling difficulties, which really sucks bc I wanted to see that one. I've generally been far more impressed with his gameplay than PPDC's; he's a lot more collected and reliable when playing, while PPDC seems to take somewhat unnecessary risks and often gets punished for them too. He kinda got smashed by the meme keys last week which brought me immense joy considering it was my teammate, but on that note, he seems to ride or die by his matchup. If he gets a good one, this could go either way. If it's poor, expect eifo to take it.

NU: KingKdot (??) vs Jytcampbell (??)
Literally no idea, but at the very least I've seen Kdot play NU.

PU: Ktütverde (60) vs Poek (40)
Similar to above, but Poek's a reliable enough player to the point where I can predict this I think. Ktut has obviously been pretty great in PU and has smashed most of the competition. TJ will probably give Poek something he used week 2 or whatever and it just won't hold up to whatever ct shit Ktut builds. Idk enough to make this accurate.

LC: Wail Wailord (??) vs Shogarth (??)
I mean this in the least offensive way possible but I really don't know who Shogarth is...

Bit sleepy so these were probably a little lazy (and some of the matchups really sucked and were unpredictable too ;-;) but hopefully they make for an enjoyable read regardless. Let's seal this up and get ready for playoffs, Cobras!! :arbok:

6-1 vs the ape. my predicts are carried by the rattlers series, which for some reason i always get like 8/10 or so correct on sooo
Rumble Hall Rattlers (6) vs (4) Ambrette Astrotias

the astrotias are now in one of the worst positions a team wants to be in... being reliant on other teams in order to make poffs. not good! last week had to be demoralizing for this overall solid team, so between that and their low odds of making it, i doubt they can mount a comeback here. the rattlers, on the other hand, are looking as consistent as ever, for better or worse. this team will very likely make playoffs, but if they want to WIN, they need to bring a little bit more than they've been. sadly, i do not think their substitute lineup has the potential to raise the ceiling of this team.

OU: lax vs BIHI: lax's losing trend ends here, but bihi's getting matched up vs top players trend does not LOL. bihi is a fairly good player, but lax is simply better. despite the poor trend lately, he's undeniably one of the most clutch players on smogon. he will bring it for this one, no doubt in my mind about that.

OU: Samqian vs Raiza: samqian went from looking solid to frankly not great as the tour has progressed. raiza, however, has been as consistently solid as ever.

OU: talah vs Tace: talah has looked much better than usual in his last two games, whereas tace has looked a little bit worse than usual in this tour. despite that and despite his team being down on their luck, i think he will take this one. all my midwest bias in the world aside (I SWEAR), tace is just a really good player... just no bullshit, knows the meta, brings good teams, plays well, and does well for the most part. talah is one of the stronger metagamers in the tier, but even with some successful play lately, he still needs to prove himself a bit more on that front. this one will definitely be good.

OU: Kebab mlml vs Finchinator: things have been rough for the inarguable main character of smogon lately, but they've been rough for kebab too. both are good players, but kebab has just not been on his A game this tour. a big issue has been the teams he's bringing imo... they just do not look like the types of teams i saw him bring in the past, and the discomfort shows in his play. in this MU in particular, if kebab continues to bring these fairly normal looking teams, finch will pretty comfortably handle him. if kebab goes back to his wild roots, though, i think he could give finch some trouble.

DOU: Ezrael vs Paraplegic: still the goat doubles
UU: CBU vs Accelgor
RU: Ajna vs Feliburn
NU: bugzinator vs Bouff: sorry bouff
PU: Vulpix03 vs z0mOG
LC: Serene Grace vs LilyAC
Shinto Ruin Serpents (5) vs (5) Berry Forest Bushmasters
not gonna give this one as much attention considering 3 games didn't even get done last week.

OU: Vaboh vs Leo: both haven't looked too great, but leo has certainly looked better.

OU: Tamahome vs Bloody alfa: tama's looked very impressive this tour. as always. why did he go to r3 again?

OU: Star vs Kingler: i know i always predict against star and realistically this MU is 99/1 but something in my gut tells me kingler will take this LMAO.

OU: watashi vs qsns: adv expert qsns rolled up with an FV team last week, basically a cheat code.

DOU: Mishimono vs MetalGro$$
UU: Askov vs frisoeva
RU: Malekith vs Lopunny Kicks
NU: Jrdn vs Sensei Axew
PU: obii vs pokemonisfun
LC: Mazinger vs CyberOdin
Lake of Rage Leviathans (6) vs (4) Terminus Taipans

after dealing with cheatwin (last week's smogon villain), tricking (this week's smogon villain, apparently) seemingly rallied the troops. the leviathans have been playing much more to their potential the last few weeks than ever before. i have always liked this team quite a bit, so seeing them actually bring it back is really exciting. the tiepans... broke the curse? the winpans?!?? they're still out tho, and their jokey teams and aggressive plays won't stump a team like this one.

OU: Rexus vs Eeveeto: i keep getting the eeveeto games wrong, not because i think lowly of him, but because he keeps getting opponents i rate highly. that's the case here. rexus has just looked really, really good this tour. this one will be close but i can't go against rexus vs most players rn.

OU: BK vs High Impulse: high impulse hasn't looked too bad, but BK has looked really good. taking out sacri last week, especially in the fashion he did, definitely showed that you can't count impulse out, but BK is just something else right now.

OU: John W vs Void: game's happening right now but you already know...

OU: ramboss vs dice: with all the pressure off, dice can now play at his peak, and his peak is much much higher than most on smogon... the few times he hits it. ramboss has looked hella nice, and his ability to wield such a diverse array of teams makes him a major threat, but i have a feeling that won't matter in this one. both these guys are gonna bring some total bullshit, both these guys are gonna make overly aggressive plays for no reason, and both these guys will probably talk in chat or some shit. the thing is, dice has more experience winning in that kind of way that totally embarrasses the opponent, and i think he'll succeed at that here.

DOU: Nails vs Kiichikos
UU: hs vs Adaam
RU: odr vs Expulso
NU: Kushalos vs aim
PU: Hamhamhamhamham vs tlenit
LC: Xizaaa vs Osh
Black City Mambas (8) vs (2) Sky Tower Lindworms

the lindworms had their undefeated streak ended last week. seems that the mambas are being thrown a softball here... pair that with some solid momentum and this team just might do it.

OU: Bobby Dagen vs dcae: no comment

OU: Gefährlicher Random vs beatiful: alright i'm convinced.

OU: xray vs Eo Ut Mortus: very exciting game between two top dogs. i think xray has a higher ceiling overall, but when the ball gets rolling for eo, he just kills it.

OU: LittleBigPlanet2 vs Garay oak: pretty close one, not really sure what else to say here.

DOU: Frania vs talkingtree
UU: Sabella vs Moutemoute
RU: eifo vs Pepeduce
NU: KingKdot vs Jytcampbell
PU: Ktütverde vs Poek
LC: Wail Wailord vs Shogarth
Lanakila Nagas (5) vs (5) Celadon City Cobras

my personal #1 and #2 teams... damn. the nagas have had it rough lately. i'm a big believer in their roster, but for the first time all tour, i'm having doubts about their ability to make playoffs. tenzai looked fantastic in doubles last week, so hopefully that gets them what they need to take them to poffs. the cobras looked hella nice though, and they weren't even really playing a joke roster from last week's lindworms or anything. sure some slots were a bit different, but nowhere near what we see this week. i really do hope both these teams make playoffs, but part of me feels that won't happen.

OU: Sacri' vs TPP:
poor sac. i am not sure if his head is gonna be in it for this one, but even a demoralized sacri is a top player that most can't best. TPP is really solid, but the types of teams he brings definitely match up poorly vs the sac. sacri is one of those dudes who gets annoyed if his opponent brings the "wrong" set or makes the wrong play, but unlike many others that fall into this category, he has such a high playing ability that he's usually able to balance it out. i feel like once he switches up his style a bit more and starts to learn how to play vs those more wild players he can become one of the very best on the site, but until then, he will remain in that second tier overall.

OU: Regnite vs HANTSUKI: very little to say here and a tough one to call. regnite is probably more familiar with the tier, but hantsuki is probably the better player overall. gonna slightly favor regnite cause i know the guy will work hard to win this one.

OU: ima vs mncmt: ohohohoho this is a nice one. both killer players, both capable of playing anything really. on top of that, both have looked really damn good this tour. ima has looked a little bit better, though, despite the tragic loss to dice last week. he has a slight edge here.

OU: robjr vs 1 True Lycan: both are pretty similar in skill, though earlier in the tour i would've said robjr is better. he has definitely cooled off lately, whereas lycan has been more consistent, albeit with fewer highs compared to rob.

DOU: Tenzai vs Qwello Lee
UU: SoulWind vs Lilburr
RU: atomicllamas vs snaga
NU: elodin vs Sjneider
PU: Kink vs Xiri
LC: Ninjadog vs Z Strats
so if these predicts are accurate (they won't be), the playoffs would be lindworms (14), cobras (11), rattlers (11), and then a tie at 10 between the mambas and the leviathans, with the mambas winning in BD. pretty crazy, and it goes to show how close this race is. best of luck to all those participating this week; definitely looking forward to a lot of these games.

Excuse me, does: "UNLESS ALL" means that everything that follows has to happen? I mean it's a bit confuse. Could you say what HAS to happen and if everything is simoultaneous? Thank you!

As this is the last week I am going to write the predicts :afrostar:

Rumble Hall Rattlers (5) vs (5) Ambrette Astrotias

OU: lax vs BIHI: Lax in my opinion has been a solid player throughout the tour, it seems to me that he is a player who can easily beat all types of players, on the other hand BIHi has also had a remarkable performance but I continue to see Lax more solid
OU: Samqian vs Raiza: Raiza seems to me to be a remarkable player throughout the tournament, he has had very good games and others in which luck did not favor him. I see raiza far above samqian.
OU: talah vs Tace: There is not much to say about Talah, from how little I have seen him in his last 2 games, I have to say that his games were quite solid and with a good performance, on the other side of the coin you see Tace, a player who has remained constant throughout the tour but I still see Talah taking these
OU: Kebab mlml vs Finchinator: This was a difficult decision. On the one hand there is Kebab, a player that I see very strong and who can easily beat any player but on the other we have Finchinator, a too versatile player who has shown an outstanding record. I think Finchinator will win this but with a lot of problems
DOU: Ezrael vs Paraplegic: The 2 with a similar record and similar performance, but in my opinion Paraplegic can win this, but I wouldn't be surprised if Ezrael takes this
UU: CBU vs Accelgor: Accelgor has shown us how capable he is of sweeping any player who crosses his path, his games have had an excellent execution. CBU, another very strong player who has remained constant throughout the tournament. But nevertheless I still see Accelgor winning this
RU: Ajna vs Feliburn: THE RU BEAST, Feliburn is the executioner for the RU pool, I see it difficult for Ajna to win this.
NU: bugzinator vs Bouff: I think it is clear who takes this match, bugzinator has demonstrated his dominance in NU while on the other hand I cannot say much about Bouff
PU: Vulpix03 vs z0mOG: I think Vulpix is going to be the winner of this match despite the performance shown by Z0mog
LC: Serene Grace vs LilyAC: The LC battle most awaited by all, on the left hand Serence Grace, the LC superstar and on the other Lily, an expert in the tier. I see Serence slightly above Lily but I wouldn't be surprised to see Lily winning this

Shinto Ruin Serpents (7) vs (3) Berry Forest Bushmasters

OU: Vaboh vs Leo: Interesting game but I see Leo with a small advantage over Vapoh
OU: Tamahome vs Bloody alfa: One of the best OUers, Tamahome comes with a spectacular performance in this tournament. Bloody has not had his best performance but I feel that he can take this fight, but anyway because of the record he has and the performance he is having I see Tamahome winning this
OU: Star vs Kingler: I see star winning this by the majority
OU: watashi vs qsns: I still don't see qsns in OU honestly, but well, I see watashi winning this with a notable advantage
DOU: Mishimono vs MetalGro$$: There is not much to say in this match imo, I see Mishimono winning this
UU: Askov vs frisoeva: Askov will win this and I give him a huge advantage over frisoeva
RU: Malekith vs Lopunny Kicks: I don't think that Punny is going to have any problem beating Malekith in my opinion, I don't know to what extent Malekith knowledge on how to play this tier while Punny has already shown a good performance in this one after the grand slam
NU: Jrdn vs Sensei Axew: I see jrdn winning this with a slight advantage over the sensei
PU: obii vs pokemonisfun: We are in front of the PU master, obii. I think obii will win this and continue with his outstanding record.
LC: Mazinger vs CyberOdin: Here I have to be honest, I don't think Odin hasn't had his best tournament while Mazinger hasn't had a good performance either, I think interesting things can happen in this game, I see Odin winning slightly.

Lake of Rage Leviathans (6) vs (4) Terminus Taipans

OU: Rexus vs Eeveeto: Day 142: I still don't know why but every day I like the teams that eeveeto uses more and more. The 2 have had an excellent performance but I feel that Rexus will win this in the most interesting game against eeveeto
OU: BK vs High Impulse: BK will win this against a High Impulse that tbh has pleasantly surprised me in this tournament but despite this I see BK much more solid.
OU: John W vs Void: No Johns W
OU: ramboss vs dice: Dice will win this in my opinion but I wouldn't be surprised if ramboss wins this anyway, interesting match
DOU: Nails vs Kiichikos: A game I look forward between 2 DOU masters, I feel slightly that Nails will take this game home, sorry Kiichii :pirate:
UU: hs vs Adaam: I will support Adaam in this meeting, HS has had some games in which he has either shown himself as a superstar or as a regular player. While on the other hand Adaam has remained more constant in the tour.
RU: odr vs Expulso: Again we find 2 players with a similar performance, but I feel that odr will win this but it will be a very close game
NU: Kushalos vs aim: Kushalos is winning this for sure, he has shown an excellent record and games very well executed, but aim has also shown us similar things but anyways I see Kushalos winning this
PU: Hamhamhamhamham vs tlenit: I don't have much to say about this game but I see tlenit taking this home
LC: Xizaaa vs Osh: I feel like Osh will win this against a very solid Xizaaa, a very complicated game for both

Black City Mambas (4) vs (6) Sky Tower Lindworms

OU: Bobby Dagen vs dcae: Bobby Dagen is coming off a prominent win over Leo, I see Bobby winning this by a big difference over dcae
OU: Gefährlicher Random vs beatiful: Bea, it's probably the next best thing in SS OU, but on the other hand his rival is quite constant in the tier, but I still see this in favor of bea, I hope to see a nice match
OU: xray vs Eo Ut Mortus: EO, LOSSING ?? EO has left each one of us speechless, his indescribable record means nothing more than what it is to dominate a tier. On the other hand Xray has maintained a remarkable performance but I see EO winning this without a doubt.
OU: LittleBigPlanet2 vs Garay oak: Garay is a pretty solid player in my opinion, I see Garay winning this but in the same way LittleBigPlanet2 could take this match home and I wouldn't be surprised
DOU: Frania vs talkingtree: I honestly don't have much to say about this match, I see Frania winning this very surely
UU: Sabella vs Moutemoute: Sabella did not have a very nice start, but he has already gained impulse and I don't think anyone can stop him.
RU: eifo vs Pepeduce: I'm going to support Pepeduce for this battle, he has a firm record and I honestly don't believe that Eifo will be able to beat Pepe
NU: KingKdot vs Jytcampbell: I strongly believe that Jyt with RW's incredible ability to build teams can beat KingKdot without much trouble.
PU: Ktütverde vs Poek: Without the slightest doubt this is a most interesting match, Ktuverde against Poek + TJ in the back. I think Ktuverde will win this but it will be quite complex for both.
LC: Wail Wailord vs Shogarth:I have not the slightest doubt that Wail will win this without the slightest complication, Wail has become a beast in lc

Lanakila Nagas (4) vs (6) Celadon City Cobras

OU: Sacri' vs TPP: I see Sacri above TPP in this confrontation, another game that I'm eager to see
OU: Regnite vs HANTSUKI: A difficult game to decide, the 2 have similar records, but I think it can be taken by regnite.
OU: ima vs mncmt: 2 good OUers are facing each other, I see Ima winning this but mence is a pretty formidable rival that without problems could win this anyways.
OU: robjr vs 1 True Lycan: 2 players with a similar level, I support Baron slightly but I really don't think that one is completely superior to the other
DOU: Tenzai vs Qwello Lee: I'm sorry that Quello won this, he has a superior run and I love how he performs in all his games
UU: SoulWind vs Lilburr: I doubt that Lily will be able to beat a SW that has managed to beat almost the entire UU Pool. Lily plays very solid and hardly positions herself in situations in which he cannot win. Very interesting match
RU: atomicllamas vs snaga: We meet again with 2 players with similar record and performance throughout the tour, I think Snaga will win this
NU: elodin vs Sjneider: I see Sneijder winning this with a big advantage over elodin
PU: Kink vs Xiri: I see Xiri way more solid in the tier than Kink.
LC: Ninjadog vs Z Strats: 2 Very surprising LCers in my opinion, on the one hand we have Z Strats a player who entered W7 and from that moment he has demolished with anyone who crosses his path and on the other Ninjadog a player with a good start but he has not had his best games these last weeks

Done, GOOD LUCK EVERYONE

And we are finally here at the final week! Been a long tour and I'm glad this is the last week where I have to do 20 predicts. 8/19 last week, the only time I've gone negative all tour, 83/147 (56.4%) overall, let's get into the final week of predicts!

OU: lax vs BIHI - Lightning doesn't strike 5 times in a row, does it? After an imperious start to the season lax has come right back down to .500, but I'm going to use the same logic I did last week, and assume that he won't lose 5 straight
OU: Samqian vs Raiza - God mami qian hasn't had the best of tours but I still rate him pretty highly, however I've found Raiza to be more impressive throughout the tour
OU: talah vs Tace - In one of the weirder games I've seen in recent times, talah managed to pick 5 kills with his Rhyperior last week and getting a crucial turn correct at the end after having his Blissey frozen, although I haven't been completely sold on him. Tace has been pretty shaky as of late so I'll go with talah
OU: Kebab mlml vs Finchinator - As much as I want to predict against Finch for forgetting that Power Whip is contact (idk what drugs he was on), he's been more consistent than Kebab this tour so I will begrudgingly bold him

OU: Vaboh vs Leo - Generally speaking Serpents have something to play for so they will be favoured from the get go, however in this particular matchup I think Leo has been slightly better in his performances
OU: Tamahome vs Bloody alfa - Tama has dominated all tour while alfa just never got into a groove
OU: Star vs Kingler - Every cell in my body wants to bold Kingler but I simply cannot do it. Star should take this
OU: watashi vs qsns - Although qsns pulled off the upset last week I find it hard to bold him against one of the most highly rated players in the pool

OU: Rexus vs Eeveeto - Rexus has been unreal this tour after early activity concerns, Eeveeto is no slouch and I definitely expect one or two unconventional picks in this game, but I think the team with something to play for is once again going to be favoured
OU: BK vs High Impulse - Fun matchup, Impulse is one of the more dangerous players in the pool but BK has been really really good all tour
OU: John W vs Void - Someone who has played thousands of games of SS OU vs someone who has limited experience afaik, seems fairly obvious
OU: ramboss vs dice - He won a game, but I still believe that the Leviathans are going to sweep OU this week. ramboss has quietly been racking up wins and I expect him to take another one here

OU: Bobby Dagen vs dcae - Mambas finally got their 45th pick to play a game last week resulting in a win, and he'll be favoured this week to win against an LC main
OU: Gefährlicher Random vs beatiful - bea has seamlessly picked up from where Ewin left off, matching his record and perhaps looking even better than Ewin did. TDR losing to qsns last week really ruined my faith in him so it's tough for me to predict him here
OU: xray vs Eo Ut Mortus - Highlight of the week for sure, xray has been great but Eo has just looked unstoppable, piloting all sorts of teams to wins over and over again
OU: LittleBigPlanet2 vs Garay oak - Once again, I find myself bolding against Garay. Nothing against the guy, it just feels like every week his opponent looks more appealing I suppose, even if he has picked up some great wins in the last 2 weeks. LBP2 was pretty good in his games and I liked what I saw, so I lean towards him ever so slightly

OU: Sacri' vs TPP - Sacri has been much more impressive than TPP this tour and I expect him to close out the season strong
OU: Regnite vs HANTSUKI - Purely gut feeling on this one, haven't seen too much from either player although HANTSUKI is 5-0 in ODL for whatever that's worth
OU: ima vs mncmt - ima was matchup monke'd by dice last week, a necessary loss if he wants to match 8-3 however, so I will frame it as it being part of his master plan. This is another highlight game though, as mncmt has been great too, still have to favour ima though
OU: robjr vs 1 True Lycan - I'm pretty high on the Baron, and haven't really been too convinced by rob in his games so far

Good luck to everyone!
