Resource SM OU ULTRA Cores v2

Here's a core that I have been using lately with a pokemon that is very underrated but goes well with the other 2 mons.

Seismitoad is a very underrated hazard setter with a great defensive type as well as a outstanding ability, being immune to water attacks. With seismitoad partnered up with banded bulu, it complements each other very well. Seismitoad completely walls mons like heatran, Rotom-Wash, zapdos, tapu koko and charizard x. But with the addition of grassy terrain on the field, it walls mega swampert, Landorus-Therian, and offensive garchomp. On top of that seismitoad gives tapu bulu some slack on switching in on ash greninja due to its water absorb ability. celesteela+seismitoad also has great type synergy, as seismitoad counters a good amount of celesteela's checks, and steela checks the grass types/ psychic spam that threatens toad.

Defensive core

A formidable defensive core that players do not think so often.

Synergy of types
Chansey's single-fight weakness on the physics is here perfectly handled by Tornadus who comes on all the superpower of the meta overused. The most common Tornadus weaknesses (electric type, ice type to some extent) are special oriented types that never worry Chansey. The only pokemon tapping on the physical rock type is not handled by the core being Tyranitar.

Synergy of moves
The most threatening non-offensive moves on Chansey are volt-turn moves, moves preventing Chansey from using his eviolite (knock off, trick, switcheroo), and stack hazard. As a pivot, often played by the rocky helmet, Tornadus is one of the best switch-in of the game to turn, one of the best defoggers of the game and often a good switch in the trickers of the game when played with his z move. Its access to taunt also reduces the use of support moves from opposing pokemons. Its excellent speed and access to u-turn allow him to recover the momentum that the opponent will try to take on Chansey.
In addition Chansey is a great support pokemon with access to wish, stealth rock, toxic, heal bell, and seismic toss always inflicting at least 30% damage to the most defensive pokemons. Chansey is perfect for winning his duel against defensive pokemons that may be trying to exhaust Tornadus' regenerator in the long run.

Note that this core does not support some specific Tapu Koko sets, like the Taunt Koko and / or Tapu Koko Offensive (z move in particular) This core is also not suitable for handling set up sweepers , especially those using moves like dragon dancing, sword dancing, curse or bulk up to a certain extent.

Synergy against these specific metagame threats
The strength of this defensive core is that it is two pokemons with a unique niche and few threats independently. These pokemons have few answers and manage the counters of the other to a certain extent.
Tornadus Counters managed by Chansey are Zapdos, Kyurem, some sets of Tapu Koko, Greninja, Rotom-wash to a certain extent if predictions are made for the toxic at the right time.

Tornadus can check Chansey counters, like Scizor-mega, Landorus, Kartana, Tapu Bulu, Lopunny-mega, some rare sets like Keldeo sub with secret sword. He will always manage his defensive enemies Ferrothorn and Tangrowth.

Weavile, taunt Heatran, Hoopa-U, Tyranitar, Medicham-mega, Mawile-mega, Heracross-mega, Z-move Garchomp, are examples of common pokemons that are absolutely not managed by the core. It's worth noting, however, that most of these pokemons simply do not have a switch in the game, and they can be counted on the fingers of one hand for others.

Zard Y's Drought powers up Victini's V-Creates to insane levels. Almost everything is at least 2HKO by V-Create and the things that can take it fall to coverage. Tyranitar and Heatran to Brick Break, Pelipper, Alomomola, and Mega Slowbro to Bolt Strike.

Zard Y likes Victini breaking through Toxapex while being able to U-turn on Pelipper and Tyranitar to give Zard Y the weather advantage.

While this core has no safe switch ins, faster pokemon can heavily pressure this core. Pursuit is also a threat since V-Create drops defense and Zard Y has low Physical bulk. Also Stealth Rocks.

Talking to me like they were they realist out

Pretty sexy core ngl. Mega Slowbro has been pretty popular in Snake and one of its best partners imo is Chansey. Pretty straightforward as Chansey handles special attackers that threaten Slowbro such as Gren and Koko. Slowbro, in turn, comes in on Medi, Lopunny and a handful of other physical attackers that threaten Chansey.

EDIT: My dumbass didn't leave a paste so here it is - https://pokepast.es/0e62d3f4a2e606f0
