[SET COMMENTS]
Galarian Slowking is a solid defensive piece for Poison teams with its incredible Special Defense, especially with an Assault Vest, able to shrug off hits from threats such as Heatran, Latios, and Raging Bolt. Future Sight is used to create pressure and helps to break opposing teams by nailing threats like Toxapex, Great Tusk, and Amoonguss that may want to switch in against Galarian Slowking's physical teammates like Sneasler and Okidogi for high amounts of damage. Sludge Bomb gives a much more consistent STAB option and helps to nail Fairy-type threats like Enamorus, Iron Valiant, and Primarina. Ice Beam stops threatening Dragon- and Flying-type threats like Latias, Raging Bolt, and Landorus. Flamethrower serves as a solid coverage option, melting problematic Steel-types like Corviknight, Skarmory, and Gholdengo that can otherwise shrug off Galarian Slowking's attacks, along with acting as a lure for Heatran. Finally, Earthquake gives Galarian Slowking a good way to break Heatran, which Poison teams detest, once its Air Balloon pops.
Sneasler and Okidogi benefit from Galarian Slowking immensely, as they can deal with threats attempting to take Galarian Slowking's Future Sights like Articuno, Blissey and Alolan Muk thanks to their high-powered Fighting-type STAB moves. Galarian Slowking, meanwhile, benefits from them removing dangerous Dark-type threats like Ting-Lu, Kingambit, and Hisuian Samurott. Amoonguss complements Galarian Slowking by being a physical wall capable of handling physical attacks from the likes of Great Tusk and Iron Treads with its Grass-type STAB moves and Foul Play, along with creating openings with Spore so Galarian Slowking can pivot in to heal and set Future Sight. Galarian Weezing provides similar support thanks to Levitate and its ability to handle threats like Garchomp, Dragonite, and Mamoswine with Strange Steam and Will-O-Wisp as well as remove entry hazards thanks to Defog. Toxapex completes the Regenerator core while also handling high-powered physical attacks from the likes of Scizor, Chien-Pao, and Ceruledge. Alolan Muk handles Ghost- and Psychic-type threats attempting to overwhelm Galarian Slowking like Flutter Mane, Spectrier, and Latias with Knock Off. Overqwil, with its far higher physical bulk and Intimidate, checks physical Ghost- and Psychic-type threats such as Ceruledge and Iron Boulder and sets Spikes to make Galarian Slowking's answers, Alolan Muk and Hisuian Goodra, take considerable chip damage. Iron Moth enjoys Galarian Slowking's ability to handle Heatran, which allows it to deal with the Steel-types like Corviknight and Gholdengo that would otherwise sit on Galarian Slowking and use its lacking Flamethrower as setup bait, along with melting Chien-Pao and Iron Treads if it is using a Choice Scarf. Salazzle similarly appreciates the removal of Heatran and helps out Galarian Slowking by inflicting Toxic onto special walls such as Hisuian Goodra and Alolan Muk with Corrosion, putting them on timers. Glimmora provides similar Toxic support with Corrosion while also setting entry hazards, chipping at switch-ins like Alolan Muk, Ting-Lu, and Hisuian Goodra when they come to stop Galarian Slowking.
