These great traits combined with Chilly Reception allow for it to serve as an incredible defensive pivot, able to take hits from the aforementioned Pokemon and bring its teammates in safely. Thunder Wave allows Galarian Slowking to cripple speedier threats such as Iron Valiant and Sneasler, along with Kingambit, which can comfortably switch into Galarian Slowking otherwise. Crippling these threats also prevents sweeps when they use Tera. Heavy-Duty Boots allows Galarian Slowking to pivot more effectively by avoiding entry hazard chip. Tera Grass removes its Ground weakness for a better matchup against Great Tusk; alternatively, Tera Water provides Galarian Slowking with a handful of resistances to better check Volcanion and Walking Wake. Ice Body Baxcalibur is a phenomenal teammate that takes advantage of Ting-Lu and appreciates Galarian Slowking bringing it in safely with Chilly Reception and setting up snow for it. Great Tusk appreciates Galarian Slowking's ability to take on special attackers like Enamorus and alleviates pressure put on Galarian Slowking by taking on Sneasler and Cinderace.

Thunder Wave allows Galarian Slowking to cripple speedier threats such as Iron Valiant and Sneasler. how about any specific pokemon that switch in on it like samurott or kingambit? also the fact that twave is a good midground for their teras that can debilitate sweeps Heavy-Duty Boots are the preferred item for Galarian Slowking to pivot more effectively. in what sense Tera Grass removes its Ground-type weakness for a better matchup against Landorus-Therian, and alternatively, Tera Water is another option to provide it with a handful of resistances. tusk is probably a better example than lando. and also tera water is super vague. like what do the resistances help it check Ice Body Baxcalibur is a phenomenal teammate that appreciates Galarian Slowking bringing it in safely with Chilly Reception and being able to set up Snow for it. does it bring it in against any pokemon that is fodder against it Great Tusk appreciates Galarian Slowking's ability to take on special attackers like Enamorus, and in return, Great Tusk makes up for Galarian Slowking mediocre physical defense. how
