[SET DETAILS]
All-out attacker Slither Wing is a great option on Bug teams due to its part-Fighting typing and its access to First Impression and Close Combat, which let it deal with troublesome threats like Kingambit, Hisuian Goodra, and Iron Boulder. Close Combat is Slither Wing's strongest STAB move, which takes out Normal-, Rock-, Steel-, and Ice-types like Blissey, Garganacl, Hisuian Goodra, and Mamoswine. U-turn not only damages foes, but it also allows Slither Wing to pivot out into one of its teammates like Frosmoth. Morning Sun can be run over U-turn to increase Slither Wing's longevity throughout the battle, notably in the Steel matchup; however, doing so means Slither Wing lacks the key pivoting it gets from U-turn. First Impression provides priority for Slither Wing to deal with fast threats like Iron Boulder, Latias, and Chien-Pao. Earthquake allows Slither Wing to deal with Gholdengo while also threatening pesky Poison-types like Clodsire and 2HKOing Toxapex. Life Orb is the go-to item for Slither Wing so it can hit as hard as possible, notably giving it a chance to OHKO Ursaluna-B. Heavy-Duty Boots can be run over Life Orb to let Slither Wing ignore entry hazards and stay healthy. However, losing the additional power Life Orb provides is not appreciated. Adamant is its preferred nature, maximizing Slither Wing's damage to let it 2HKO Skarmory and specially defensive Corviknight with Life Orb-boosted Close Combat.
Choice Scarf Kleavor is a great teammate for Slither Wing, dealing with Flying- and Fire-types like Dragonite, Moltres, and Ogerpon-H with Stone Axe, which also sets Stealth Rock, weakening foes that Slither Wing can pick off with First Impression. Swords Dance Scizor at +2 can deal with troublesome Fairy- and Rock-types like Flutter Mane, Enamorus, and Choice Scarf Hisuian Arcanine. Slither Wing taking out Steel-types like Klefki and Kingambit means that Scizor has an easier time sweeping with Bullet Punch. Volcarona and Frosmoth are fierce setup sweepers that make for great partners; Volcarona at +1 deals with Galarian Weezing, Iron Valiant, and Great Tusk with Psychic and Giga Drain, while Frosmoth at +1 deals with Dragonite, Gliscor, and the Landorus formes with Ice Beam. Ribombee, Galvantula, and Araquanid all provide Sticky Web support, which allows Slither Wing to outspeed and eliminate threats like Ogerpon-H, Choice Band Hisuian Arcanine, and Choice Specs Iron Moth. Each Sticky Web setter also provides additional support for Slither Wing: Ribombee is the fastest of the setters and also threatens Dragon-, Dark-, and Fighting-types like Dragonite, Sableye, Iron Valiant, and Great Tusk, Galvantula eases the Flying and Water matchups thanks to its part-Electric typing and the combination of Thunder and Energy Ball, and Araquanid provides bulk while soaking up Fire-type attacks like Overheat from Ninetales under sun thanks to Water Bubble. Forretress removes entry hazards with Rapid Spin and provides slow pivoting for Slither Wing with Volt Switch to ensure safe entry.

Flare Blitz can be run to threaten Amoonguss, Scizor, and Forretress, while Wild Charge takes care of Pelipper and Gyarados. However, stacking Life Orb recoil with recoil from the aforementioned moves is not appreciated.
