Here's the team I used back when Sketchmons was OMOTM. It did decently, placing me in top 25 or so. This team struggles a lot with Azumarill and special attackers that beat Heatran and Chansey (Keldeo) Also I share 4 pokes with xJownage 's team strangely enough.

It's basically a balance team that makes use of Mega Gardevoir to set up Toxic Spikes, since all Magic Bouncers lose 1v1 to it. Encore lets you lock walls into Recover or Defog, letting you switch in something else to set up or just waste their PP while spamming attacks.
U-turn Chansey is nice because it makes it easy to pass Wishes to teammates or switch into Ditto on things like set up Heatran or Thundurus.
Scarf Ditto is my main check to most sweepers, and it's IV'd to have Hidden Power Ice.
Shell Smash Heatran is a great sweeper, and Air Balloon lets you check and set up on things like Excadrill, Landorus or opposing Heatran. I chose Protect over more coverage because I often find myself stalling for Toxic Spikes damage against things like Keldeo, which a boosted Earth Power can KO afterwards.
Terrakion is a pretty simple set up sweeper. I chose it because it forces out many of the things Heatran and Gardevoir have trouble with like Chansey. White Herb is mainly for Intimidate but it also prevents Talonflame from revenging it after a Close Combat.

Thanks for the teams guys. Added them to the OP.

On subject of Clefable, I kind of agree it's not really A+ worthy, but I need more arguments before I actually dropped the rank. Iirc the argument was "It could beat anything with the right set?"

Eh, not really. Clefable should drop for the power creep, everything has a strong, effective stab now and Clefable struggles to escape the 2hko! And it can't really beat what it wants to beat, like, it's going to struggle with a lot of things because stall pokemon can't just "choose to beat what It wants" like offensive mons can.

And on a smaller thought, it lost its niche has a unaware wall by Chansey, since it can copy your opponent with Transform and beat it 9/10 times!

It's should drop to A! Oh hey, I have the VR lol.

I have been playing Sketchmons for a bit now, and I have to say one thing that has been bothering me and possibly the metagame itself is Spore and Dark Void. Mainly Thundurus abusers of these moves can effectively put to sleep any slower target and gain 2-3 turns to either setup, force a switch, or probably KO the mon trying to wake up. I wouldn't want to ban Thundurus (Or prankster users at this point) because its the move that is really pushing them over the edge. Others thoughts on this?

Regarding this, don't worry. Some pokes and moves are on my radar for potential suspect and both of these are definitely included. Wait until Sketchmons become OMotM again and I'll suspect them. Otherwise, I can't really make judgment outside of OMotM because I need to know the impact of these things in the meta and ladder is the best way to see it.

So vote Sketchmons to be OMoTM, okay?

Arent you going to be running the viability rankings? Going back a couple pages shows the myriad arguments against Clefable.

After reading the arguments about Clefable a few pages back, I'm dropping Clefable to A-, because most of the arguments favoring Clefable dropping there. However, about Suicune, I still don't have enough argument to make it drop. It actually has a few advantages than Slowbro/Mega Slowbro, being much faster, not weak to Knock Off, not taking a mega slot and generally better typing.

It's Megaqwer's Time!
I dont know the reason but i would love to know why isnt Mega aggron a bit higher on the viability rankings? With the skecth move :Recover and its ability filler, it can be a good pokemon for a defensvie wall.If i am wrong, just correct me

It's good, but arguably Skarmory is better, between its excellent typing and the fact that it doesn't eat a Mega slot. There are also a lot of other Megas that can do a lot more with a Sketch move, such as Sketching Extreme Speed on your -ate Megas. Mega Aggron is also a bit predictable/inflexible -it pretty much has to Sketch a recovery move, which hurts its ability to Sketch other moves it might like to take, such as Sacred Fire.

I ran it for a while myself on a defensive team, and it was nice and all, but flawed. It wasn't even a reliable check to -ate abusers -Mega Diancie often ran mixed, specifically carrying Earth Power, for instance.

I'll bump with a pokemon that surprisingly people haven't used it much (or I haven't seen it).

With 150 Defense boosted by Eviolite, Steel/Ghost typing, passable Attack and No Guard Ability, you can either be a super-duper-friggin-annoying staller that's bulkier than Skarmory, or be a Physical version of Chatot with perfect coverage and the ability to boost your Attack. I'm surprised this thing hasn't been ranked yet.

So, Sketchmons is probably going to be the next OMotM, I decided to try to build a team, I'm not good at teambuilding, so some tips would help me.

Sketch Clause: no sketching more than one of the same move, unless it learns naturally.

So you can't have Will-o-wisp on both Quagsire and Chansey. To solve this, either use Cotton Guard Chansey and be a jerk, or have your Chansey Serene Grace Ability + Sacred Fire. It has an advantage over Will-o-wisp for not being Tauntable. Also, make either one of your Diancie or Doublade have Milk Drink or Heal Order, as they're the same thing. This is, again, because of Sketch Clause.

Added Technoblast to List of Recommended Sketch moves in the OP. It may be outclassed by Boomburst, but it has niche for two reasons.

1. Not being blocked by Soundproof pokes.
2. Sketch Clause. If you carried a Boomburst user and you need another one, you can carry Technoblast instead. You have 14% power drop, but if you're used to carry Timid Boomburst user, it can be compensated by changing the Nature to Modest if you carry Technoblast, and it hits almost as hard.

Next, I just wanna say Thank You for everyone who voted Sketchmons to be OMotM. Win or lose, I appreciate the votes, because it's proven that Sketchmons has become a tough competitor for Other Metas, especially since this is JUST after cooldown period ends :)

Void

So I find both these moves to be an unhealthy presence in Sketchmons due to the fact that either fast/Prankster mons can both abuse this move to sleep any of their checks/counters so that they can either sweep on their own or allow the freedom of other mons on your team to sweep since one of their most effective answers is put to sleep. I feel it just adds an extra strain on teambuilding since more bulky offense and balanced teams need to carry a mon that can counter sleep in Magic Bounce or a Grass mon if they use Spore. the restriction it adds and the severity of the necessity of carry an answer to it just pushes both of them over the edge for me (although a case can be made for Spore since Grass types can handle it). I would much rather ban the moves then ban the abusers (Ie:m Thundurus, Whimsicott, Weavile, any fast mon, etc) as they are not individually broken without said move.

2) Diggersby

I have been playing a couple of matches this week, and most of them involved Diggersby and let me tell you that the similarity to STABmons is very apparent in my eyes. Although it cannot use FakeSpeed, Extreme Speed still lets it become a deadly threat when you factor in the potential boosts from Swords Dance as well. The added Ground coverage also does not help this cause as it can basically take care of Rock and Steel types that are below its speed tier (which there is a lot of), while Espeed just cleans up any other fast threats. It can destroy offensive and balance teams alike and capitalizes on misplays and wrong predictions the most imo, which to me is quite undeserving and should not be allowed to this degree in this meta.

Other thoughts?

Bumping with updates.

Hoopa-U is banned in OU, so I removed it from viability rankings.

Since Volcanion is about to be released, I removed Scald and added Steam Eruption to List of Recommended moves.

Scald is still useful on defensive mons who prefer the increased PP and don't care about the damage (an example would be Alomomola prefers Scald cuz it's not doing anything with Steam Eruption anyway--it prefers the 100% accuracy and higher PP for increased stalling capabilities). They're both pretty good so I would just keep them both on there tbh. RIP Hoopa-U we will never forget (even if I never used it in Sketchmons)

1. RIP Hoopa
2. Get rid of scald but only cause stall noobs will use an inferior move ;)
3. I take it Smeargle sucks?
4. Finally a rocks/webs/spinner!

Actually, when you /ds Scald, you will find that most of the water types in OU or UU already get Scald, so actually there's no point to put it in list of recommended sketch moves because almost all viable Water types gets it. The purpose of Sketching move is to give mons that doesn't have a proper STAB or coverage. In this case, most water types in OU or UU don't need Scald because they gets it. So the other possibility of giving Scald is to non-Water type mons that appreciate Scald's PP more than Steam Eruption's raw power. Any particular mons that benefits from sketching Scald this way? I don't think so.

It IS a good move, but I just don't think anyone will benefit from it because they either already get it, or they doesn't need Scald's PP over Steam Eruption's power. I may put it in List of Recommended moves though.

Of the Pokemon that don't get Scald already, literally only Rotom-W would like to Sketch it. Water is generally pretty bad coverage unless you don't have a lot of options or you get STAB on it. For exclusively spreading burns, there are better choices. I agree that on Water types, the choice between Scald and Steam Eruption is a legitimate one, but its the choice on whether to Sketch Steam Eruption or not, not to Sketch Stream Eruption or Scald.
