Silly Things You've Seen On The OU Ladder!

Random Shit volume 18: Of Age Edition
-Dragon Dance Dragonite with Heat Wave. It made his opponent ragequit.
-Alomomola. Especially bringing it in against an obviously special M-Luke. (It has 45 base SpD, which 160 base HP won't cover all that well.)
-Psychic Volcarona.
-Bastiodon.
-Dragonite using Extreme Speed against said Bastiodon. 8% at +1 is metagame defining damage, folks.
-Crit happens: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/skybattles-83239832
-How do you stop a +6 Greninja (courtesy of QuiverPass) from sweeping your team? How about non-Sturdy Skarmory?
-Okay then: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-83239545
-I know Jirachi sometimes carries Body Slam for its paraflinching shenanigans, but using it on Gengar won't get you anywhere. Even better, it got paralyzed when the opposing Jirachi, running pretty much the exact same set, used Body Slam on it.
-Mixed non-mega Lucario. All I saw out of it was Drain Punch and HP either Fire or Electric. He also had an Electivire.
-Focus Sash Reckless Staraptor.
-Sashed Terrakion.
-A full HP Infernape using Endeavor.
-Gliscor Toxicing a Gardevoir that had traced Poison Heal. Needless to say, Gardy didn't mega evolve for a while.
-Focus Blast/Energy Ball Escavalier.
-Blizzard Starmie. Sometimes, power be damned, you just have to go with accuracy (it was targeting a +6 Gliscor which promptly OHKOed with EQ).

Edit:
-Physical Blissey receiving max Attack and Speed and winning. She had a Life Orb with the punches and Softboiled.
-This was in UU, but it deserves a mention: Bronzong with Calm Mind and Metal Sound, holding a Colbur Berry. The icing on the cake? It used Extrasensory on a Sharpedo. Twice.

Psychic is actually pretty good if you want to hit Tentacruel and Inferape. Although Heatran still walls you hard.

Never underistimate Transform Offensive!
Transform Offensive with Ditto is surprisingly effective against a lot of the crummy teams I fought.

I forgot to mention earlier that I fought a suspicious theme team earlier consisting of Pikachu, Glalie, Corphish, Swellow, Gible, and something else I don't remember. I Google it, and it turns out that it's an ASH team. Why copy someone who orders his Pikachu to keep using Electric attacks against Ground types? Too bad my opponent forfeited early when I led with my Ditto and Draco Meteored the Gible into oblivion (yep, no physical Dragon move on Gible). :)

Here's a good one. Tremble in fear before the NO ATTACK HIPPOWDON. My Ditto found out it had Stealth Rock, Whirlwind, Yawn, and Slack Off. After I sent in Ditto, my opponent put "u r terrible" in the chat. I then beat him with my crummy joke team.

A case of me getting screwed over by stupid sets. Who knew having Night Slash on Aegislash would actually pay off?

This is one of my finest battles. I won't spoil it for you, but Suicune seemed to be ready and willing to get its item knocked off...
Also, that Arceus-Fairy had Roar Of Time in addition to Spacial Rend. After all, you really need two different moves in order to deal with the many Dragons in Ubers, especially if you're a Fairy-type and get absolutely wrecked by them otherwise.

I thought I would lose to this BP team since I didn't have any phazers. Then again, this is the type of fellow who gives his Scolipede Swords Dance/Substitute/Protect/Baton Pass and gets really greedy with the boosts. . .
Wow, look at that rating.
I haven't encountered a BP team yet, but they are pretty much ideal for my team, what with all that switching enabling me to scout everything, as well as being able to either copy or reverse the boosts.

It may not be OU, but...

Focus Punch / Leech Seed / Toxic Mega-Houndoom
Megahorn / Confuse Ray / Sing / Focus Blast (Secret Sword is better in Hackmons, unless you have accuracy boosts.) Mega-Manectric
Seismic Toss / EQ / Gunk Shot / Blizzard Mega-Absol.
Iron Tail / Blizzard Mega-Ampharos
Thunder / Flamethrower (There are plenty of better fire moves.) / Body Slam Mega-Mewtwo-X
Dragon Tail (ONLY VIABLE MOVE ON THIS SET) / Oblivion Wing / Draco Meteor (Not usable except with Contrary, really) / Blizzard Dialga

Also his reaction.
So why did he run these idiotic sets, all of which have Wonder Guard? "and... this is HACKMONS"

Hackmons! Of course! Why limit yourself to only a Pokemon's movepool when you can have any stupid set you could possibly want?

Someone needs to scout around in Hackmons. Heck, it would be much easier, since everything has Imposter.

Someone needs to scout around in Hackmons.
When I did that my IQ dropped a few hundred points, so count me out in!

First battle I decided to watch? A legit Cloyster sweep. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/hackmons-83573706
Rain Dance Pikachu
DITTO
Destiny Bond / False Swipe Aegislash
Blizzard Mega-Mewtwo-X that had to mega-evolve first
Level 61 Alakazam

Second Battle: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/hackmons-83574804
Sheer Cold without No Guard
Power Gem Mega-Mewtwo-Y

Third Battle: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/hackmons-83576505
A Shedinja without Endeavor
Arceus-Electric on a Balloon
Frost Breath Kyurem-W
Bullet Seed Yveltal without Skill Link
Bone Rush Groudon (If it had skill link this would be justifiable in balanced hackmons...)

Third.Fifth Battle: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-83581257
Golem.
Raichu.
Level 5 Mega-Lucario.
Salamence.

There was stupid on both sides. HP on Cloyster? Really?

A team of 6 impoters actually seems viable in Hackmons. PP Stall is a pretty prominent strategy, and such a team cannot get PP Staled without blocking switches.
Actually, 6 Imposters seems like the ultimate PP Stall team.
My first ever battle :
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/hackmons-83580945

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/battle-hackmons-83586957
-Sunny Day Solarbeam Talonflame
-Earthquake / Fire Punch / Outrage / Brick Break Nidoking
-Scope Lens Cloyster

Why doesn't Imposter copy Stance Change?

-Meteronome/Body Slam/Focus Blast/Blizzard Blissey

A short one : http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/battle-hackmons-83597171

Guys… this isn't even Balanced Hackmons. You could just run No Guard Deoxys-S with max Speed and Fissure/Sheer Cold/Guillotine and quite possibly sweep teams. Not here, of course, because of Wonder Guard, but half of his team is Ground-weak, so you could Fissure all of those. And the Air Balloon Mega Ampharos is still Ice-weak, so Sheer Cold hits that.

Albacore: So, why are they using what looks like a completely legal team in Hackmons?

Here's some weird stuff I run a lot, actually using both of these on my way up the ladder for the Luc/Gene/Deo things.

Blissey (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 SDef
Modest Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Dazzling Gleam
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Offensive Blissey is an amazing lead.

Aegislash @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature
- King's Shield
- Substitute
- Shadow Ball
- Flash Cannon

I know the Aegislash set isn't THAT weird, but 99% of the time people are expecting the King's Shield, so instead Sub...
It's pretty handy to have an Aegislash behind a sub. There's so many other incredibly useful stalling / sweeping Aegislash sets I've started using, IMO it belongs on the suspect testing, not Deo-S. Aegislash is so much more versatile than people are giving it credit before, because everyone just basically uses the common Physical and Special Attacking sets, but it has SO many more perfectly viable, effective sets.

Blissey gets Ice Beam

Blissey gets Ice Beam
Copied the wrong set.
I have a few teams with different Blisseys, made this one without even realizing it gets Ice Beam.
