Shoddy Help question

I know this is on the help page, but for the computer illiterate, like myself, would someone be willing to hold my hand and walk me through the process of putting it on my PC to run. I am using Windows 98, and I am needing step-by-step instructions.

I'm not sure if Shoddy will work on Java 5 (the most recent version still working on Windows 9x) but if it does the procedure will be this:

1. Download Java from here (the download page is here incase they've blocked direct linking to files)

2. Run the setup program and keep clicking Next.

3. Reboot.

4. Go to Start > Run and type

javaws http://shoddybattle.com/client/shoddybattle.php

5. Connect to the Smogon Server

6. Battle etc.

Shoddy Battle 1 requires Java 1.4 (aka Java 4). Java 1.5 (aka Java 5) is not required.

The Shoddy Battle 2 client will require Java 1.5.

Okay...I did verything you said. Java downloaded corectly, abd I cut and pasted exactly what you tyoed for me to put into Start > Run, and it tried to open Shoddy, but said "Unable to open Shoddy Server". What should I do now?
