Pawniard is a powerful revenge killer thanks to its amazing Attack stat and above average Speed. Knock Off is an incredibly strong STAB move that also weakens most of its defensive checks by removing key items. Iron Head is a consistently strong STAB move that also threatens Rock-types such as Tyrunt. Beat Up allows Pawniard to defeat Abra and non-Eviolite Diglett, breaking their Focus Sash or Substitute, and gives it the option to hit Larvesta without risking a Flame Body burn. Meanwhile, Brick Break hits other Steel-types super effectively and gets rid of screens. Sucker Punch is also a good option, as it allows Pawniard to revenge kill Choice Scarf users like Archen and certain threats at +1 like Ponyta. Psycho Cut is a decent alternative, as it 2HKOes Mienfoo and itemless Mareanie after Stealth Rock. Maximum Speed investment outpaces +1 Tyrunt and most other common Choice Scarf users.

Choice Scarf Pawniard pairs very well with Koffing, as Koffing helps wear Mienfoo down and Pawniard checks Tyrunt. Since Pawniard appreciates Stealth Rock support to provide crucial KOs against targets like Natu and Ponyta, Drilbur and Diglett are valuable partners; Diglett can also trap Mareanie and Larvesta, which can otherwise shrug off Pawniard's attacks with their bulk and recovery. Choice Scarf Pawniard can be overwhelmed by common special attackers such as Natu, Staryu, and Porygon, so a secondary check to these threats is helpful. Ferroseed helps check the aforementioned Pokemon, except Natu, and also provides Stealth Rock. Trace Porygon is able to check said threats, counter trap Trapinch, which is very problematic for Pawniard, and provide great pivoting support with Teleport. Additionally, Frillish synergizes well with Pawniard thanks to its ability to check most special attackers and Fire-types without stacking a Fighting weakness.

Pawniard manages to maintain a niche as a very powerful revenge killer thanks to his its amazing Attack stat and above average Speed. Its excellent type combination allows it to reliably check offensive presences after a little bit of chip damage such as Tyrunt, while having the capability of revenge killing Grookey with ease (I'm getting rid of this sentence because it doesn't add anything; Eviolite/Grassy Seed Grookey aren't even 2HKOed by this set, and the rest is fluff). Knock Off is an incredibly strong STAB move that also weakens most of its defensive checks. Iron Head also deals a lot of damage and threatens Rock-types (Provide examples, e.g Tyrunt). Beat Up allows Pawniard to defeat Abra and non-Eviolite Diglett, breaking their Focus Sash or Substitute, and gives it the option to hit Larvesta without risking a burn. Meanwhile, Brick Break hits other Steel-types super-effectively and gets rid of screens earlier. Psycho Cut is worth mentioning as an alternative, as it is the only move that allows Pawniard to 2HKO itemless Mareanie. (It's also scarf pawns best option against Mienfoo) (Add a sentence on Sucker Punch as well; this lets you revenge kill faster Scarfers and stuff like Agility Pory) Running max Speed allows Pawniard to outspeed +1 Tyrunt, as well as most other common Scarf users, not including Mienfoo and Charmander (Covered in the new sentence on Sucker Punch).

Koffing benefits enormously from Scarf Pawniard, as it makes Tyrunt's presence way less overwhelming for it to handle. (Koffing also helps wear down Mienfoo for pawn) Stealth Rock support is crucial, because it helps Pawn get a lot of KOs it would otherwise barely miss, such as Natu and Ponyta. That makes Drilbur a very valuable partner, thanks to Moldbreaker, it can set up rocks with huge consistency, while also threatening Mareanie with its powerful STAB Earthquake. (You should mention a couple of rockers here, including Ferroseed) Bulky Trappers will usually keep Pawniard in check, and the lack of enough SpDef investment makes Agility Porygon a force to reckon with, that makes Trace Porygon ideal, as it can handle both of these issues by itself and makes for a great pivot thanks to Teleport. (This sentence is pretty clunky; I'd rewrite it to focus more on what Trace Porygon does with scarf Pawn: counter trap Diglett and Trapinch, pivot with Teleport, and check powerful attackers that threaten Pawn like Carvanha and Download Porygon)

Tag me when this is implemented and I will stamp 1/1. There were a number of minor style errors I fixed; please consult the Spelling and Grammar Standards if you're confused about any of these.

Cool, stamping this. The QC team has decided to give this a second check, so you can expect that in the next few days.

Sucker Punch is also worth mentioning as an alternative, as it allows Pawniard to revenge kill faster Scarfers, like Archen and Charmander, Magby, +1 Ponyta and +2 Porygon. ) Because of the move change, put Sucker Punch before Psycho Cut (and remove some examples, I think there are too many here, maybe only keep Magby, Archen, and Ponyta, they seem like the most important ones for Sucker, but keep the general description like faster scarfer, Pokemon after a speed boost) Running max Speed allows Pawniard to outspeed +1 Tyrunt, as well as most other common Scarf users.

Koffing and Scarf Pawniard benefit from each other enormously, as the latter makes Tyrunt's presence way less overwhelming to handle while really appreciating the help to wear Mienfoo down. Stealth Rock support is crucial, because it helps Pawn get a lot of KOs it would otherwise barely miss, such as Natu and Ponyta. That makes Drilbur a very valuable partner, thanks to Moldbreaker, it can set up rocks with huge consistency, while also threatening Mareanie with its powerful STAB Earthquake not very relevant imo. Diglett can also set Stealth Rock, and in addition, can trap Mareanie and Larvesta, which can otherwise shrug off Pawniard's attacks with defensive bulk and recovery. ( Others rockers like Ferroseed, who will help you aliviate the inevitable weakness to strong Special Attackers like Abra and Porygon that comes with not investing any SpDef in Pawniard, can also fulfill that role. Finally, Trace Porygon is an ideal a good partner for several reason, the first one being the ability to counter trap Diglett and Trapinch, who are is a huge threat to Pawniard, but it also provides great pivoting support with Teleport and checks a lot of powerful attackers that threaten Pawn, like Carvanha and Download Pory. ) I would reorganize this part by first saying how running a Choice Scarf gives up a lot of Pawniard's defensive utility against special attackers (include Natu here); then mention Ferro, which can patch that (except for Natu) + set rocks; then defensive Porygon, which also helps with that + the other synergy you mentioned. I would also mention Frillish, which helps with all special attackers as well as Fire types, and unlike the former two, doesn't stack a fighting weakness.
