Not ur fault, in ADV crits are 1/12 chance and 2x damage ignoring stat changes that would reduce the damage output. On marowak I was rock slide which OHKOd at +1 and pert was EVd to live 2 band HP flyings (which has the same base power as fly in ADV). Ultimately tho it's just ADV being ADV.
