RegenVest Primal Kyogre is an amazing a useful amazing is overstating it. regenvests aren't really capable of being walls due to needing to switch out to heal, and pogre is still exploitable by a number of spatk mons like mzam, unecro, tcage arc, and the like. special wall, pivot, and utility Pokemon, notably blanking checking Pokemon like Flutter Mane, Kyurem-W Palkia-O, and Eternatus. U-Turn and Flip Turn serve the same purpose, with U-Turn generally being preferred as it cannot be blocked by Desolate Land users like Mega Blaziken and Reshiram, though the added power of Flip Turn makes it a viable option. desolate land does not exist at all, so u-turn is just worse Scald is typically preferred over Origin Pulse Steam Eruption for the ability to burn its increased PP, but some teams may appreciate the extra power of Origin Pulse Steam Eruption. Knock Off cripples item-reliant Pokemon like Chansey, RegenVest Dialga, and RegenVest Celesteela, (rc) along with removing Covert Cloak to let it status Pokemon it otherwise couldn’t, such as Mega Audino. Mortal Spin’s poisoning and hazard clearing effect makes it generally superior for its ability to chip down opposing teams.
