[POISON] Leader Yoshiblaze vs Challenger TMan87

Rules said:
Format: 3v3 Singles (Gym Leader brings 6)
DQ: 72 hours
Substitutions: 3 per Pokemon
Switch: OK
Abilities: All
Items: On
Mega Evolutions: 1
Z-Moves: 1
Recoveries / Chills: Infinite
Arena: Peter's Purple Poison Public Pool for People and Pokemon - Challenge Mode Edition
Turn Order: Gym Leader sends out Pokemon first.
Effects:
- Default weather is Amplified Artificial Acid Rain. AAAR is kinda like normal rain, but with a lot of added effects. All of the effects are: Boosts the BAP of Water moves by 3, Weakens the BAP of Psychic moves by 3, all Pokemon lose 1 HP per action unless they are Poison, Water, or Bug-type, activates rain abilities, and does not weaken the power of weather based healing moves or Solar Beam, can only be replaced by weather rocks (this was meant to be in the rules post since the Normal Mode version has this)
- Normal Poison now deals 3 damage per action, Toxic poison Starts at 2 DPA. Being around so much poison helps strengthen the effects poison, causing more damage.
- When a Pokemon is Poisoned, the Gastro Acid effect is put on the Pokemon for 6 actions. Resets if a poisoned Pokemon is switched out and comes back in still poisoned. The pool helps amplify the effects of poison, causing Pokemon to lose some of their special power for a little while.
- Fissure fails when used. How are you able to cause a Fissure in a pool?

Codifications:
- Camouflage: Poison
- Nature Power: Sludge Bomb
- Secret Power: 30% Chance to Badly Poison

Kévin's the textbook example of a shonen protagonist: a bit slow on the uptake, but extremely loyal. There's not much that can faze him and he remains placid in all circumstances, yet he still has a strong sense of responsibility towards the team, as he knows he has great potential. Everyone likes him, but the reason can vary -for example, Manon can order him around since he doesn't care much. His eternal calmness is probably for the best though, as whoever angers him will quickly learn that he has enormous reserves of fire to throw around...
Now a Camerupt, he has somehow become a very respected orator, as he ponders every word that comes out of his mouth. While his raw power is second to none, he sometimes complains about his lack of tricky strategies. He still likes to fall asleep and serve as a portative heat source though.

Camerupt [Male] [Kévin]

Mega Evolving changes Kévin into the team's Papa Wolf. If you hurt his comrades -his family, even, don't expect mercy as you'll get blown back by his favorite volcano cannon. He's very proud of his firepower!

Interestingly enough, while Mako is as careless as others, she's also much more focused on battling and becoming stronger. Not really for herself, but she believes she'll earn her rightful place if she manages to be strong. That doesn't prevent her from enjoying life as it comes, though, and she's more than happy to make friends -or sparring partners. Her dream is to lead the way for team to reach the highest peak.
Evolution made her deadlier, but she doesn't seem to realize it as she's pretty much the same she always was (or maybe she doesn't care). Her light is stronger now, which means she can actually lead people to their goal should her team fall into a dark place. While she has a limited arsenal to her disposition, she'll always say that "Soak and Volt Switch are the only tools I need anyway". Also she now likes flowers despite being a fish-like Pokémon.

Daraen | Espeon (Male)
Interestingly enough, while this Eevee is your average Eevee in terms of cuteness, he's also extremely acute and perceptive. Aimlessly wandering around isn't his thing: he has everything planned out and carefully tailored towards optimization. That serves him well in battle: he always seems to be three steps ahead of his opponent, which is not only fascinating to watch, but also infuriating for the poor Pokémon trying to fight him. I noticed he's been looking at the sun with glimmering eyes, so I guess I know what to evolve him into...
And now he's an Espeon, the Sun Pokémon. Yup, as expected. His psychic powers are stronger than ever, giving him a serious tactical advantage on the battlefield when he tries to get in his opponent's head. While being an Espeon grants him a kjghpillion tricks and ways to trip the opponent up, his pure offense sadly needs to be brushed up a bit. But he doesn't let that kind of details get to him. he'll still fight his way to the end, and see the sun rise on another day.
