Thanks to Light Ball, Pikachu is a niche Imposter user that can break past less-sturdy Imposter-proofers, although it forgoes defensive utility in exchange. When Pikachu transforms, only the ability, item, HP EVs, and Tera type listed here matter. Tera Fire provides additional power when transformed into Orichalcum Pulse users like Calyrex-I, Tera Fairy is useful against Dragon-types like Miraidon and Palkia-O, and Tera Dragon lets Pikachu transformed into Miraidon 2HKO Ice Scales Dialga-O. The listed moves, non-HP EVs, and nature will very rarely see use: since Pikachu outspeeds all other Imposter users like Chansey, it is extremely rare that Pikachu is not transformed. Nevertheless, Volt Switch provides a reasonably strong pivoting option against opposing transformed Imposter users, which cause Pikachu's Imposter to fail, while Glare can paralyze threats to aid Pikachu later on. Healing Wish and Spikes both provide some utility if Pikachu is no longer needed. Since Pikachu is extremely frail, it can easily fall to any strong move from opposing threats it wants to transform into. Therefore, significant team support is needed to realize its potential. Paralysis spam through Nuzzle and Glare ensures Pikachu always outspeeds opposing threats like Koraidon, and it can also generate free turns. Knock Off invalidates Pikachu, so Knock Off absorbers, such as Arceus with a held Plate and Guts + Flame Orb users like Slaking, are recommended. Bulky special walls like Ice Scales Arceus-Ground and Dialga-O check Miraidon and Arceus-Ghost, which Pikachu cannot safely transform into: the former has paralysis immunity, and the latter Imposter-proofs itself. Substitute + Baton Pass is a niche option to provide free turns to Pikachu, and this has the benefit of scouting potential Terastallization.

Thanks to Light Ball doubling offenses even after transforming dex info, Pikachu is a niche Imposter user that forgoes most all defensive utility in return for breaking past less sturdy Imposter-proofers. Since Pikachu outspeeds all other Imposter-users (rh) like Chansey, it is extremely rare that Pikachu is not transformed. Volt Switch provides a reasonably strong pivoting option against opposing transformed Imposter-users, (rh) while Glare can paralyze threats to aid Pikachu itself later on. Healing Wish and Spikes both provide some utility if Pikachu is no longer needed. Since Pikachu is extremely frail, it can easily fall to any strong move from opposing threats it wants to transform into, so significant team support is needed to enable its potential. Paralysis spam through Nuzzle and Glare ensures Pikachu always outspeeds opposing threats and can also generate free turns, while Tailwind is a less conventional tool that is more consistent but is only active for limited turns. tailwind is not even a consistent solution, you need to be in with the tailwinder and simply hope that they stay in and let you copy the offensive mon. you also only get 2 turns of speed which is ass Substitute + Baton Pass is a niche option to provide free turns to Pikachu, and it has the benefit of scouting potential Terastallization. misspelt Pikachu is also invalidated by Knock Off, so having a good Knock Off absorber such as Arceus Formes holding a Plate or Guts users like Slaking are useful teammates Knock Off absorbers like Arceus with a held Plate and Guts users like Slaking are recommended. Bulky special walls like Ice Scales Arceus-Ground and Dialga-O check Miraidon and Arceus-Ghost, the former is immune to paralysis, and the latter cannot be touched by Pikachu which Pikachu cannot safely copy due to their paralysis immunity and self-Imposter-proofing, respectively. Tera Fire helps against Orichalcum Pulse users funnily enough it doesn't really, caly non-tera fire v-create does 83 min and if you both tera fire then it's just a raw speedtie, if you're in a case where you're relying on tera pika to beat caly then you're losing horribly like Calyrex-Ice, (add comma) while Tera Fairy is useful against Dragon-types like Miraidon and Palkia-O;. (change to period) Tera Dragon provides little defensive utility but can lets Pikachu transformed into Miraidon 2HKO opposing Ice Scales Dialga-O.

Volt Switch provides a reasonably strong removed because ground types are everywhere, still a good option though pivoting option against opposing transformed Imposter users, while Glare can paralyze threats to aid itself later on. Paralysis spam through Nuzzle and Glare ensures Pikachu always outspeeds opposing threats provide an example or 2 that aren't paralysis immune and can also generate free turns. Substitute + Baton Pass is a niche option to provide free turns to Pikachu, and it has the benefit of scouting potential Terastallization misspelled tera. Tera Fire helps against Orichalcum Pulse users like Calyrex-I if anything, you'd want tera fire to make it wisp immune since pikas hp stat is already so low and will most likely get KO'd anyway, while Tera Fairy is useful against Dragon-types like Miraidon and Palkia-O. Tera Dragon lets Pikachu transformed into Miraidon 2HKO opposing Ice Scales Dialga-O.
