Quagsire is a notable physical wall thanks to its ability Unaware, which allows it to ignore boosts from setup sweepers like Salamence and Scizor. Toxic puts many notable Pokemon in the tier on a timer such as Hippowdon and Gastrodon. Quagsire ideally wants Spikes over Stealth Rock to force more chip damage on potential switch-ins; however, Stealth Rock is fine as an alternative if none of its other teammates can afford to fit it into their moveset. Alternatively, Ice Beam with a Relaxed nature allows Quagsire to 2HKO Hawlucha after Stealth Rock and lets it beat Substitute + Dragon Dance Tera Flying Tyranitars. The passive recovery of Leftovers allows Quagsire to check Choice Band Tyranitar and Mimikyu more easily; however, if the team can not fit entry hazard removal, Heavy-Duty Boots is much more appealing. Quagsire only uses Terastallization defensively to check certain dangerous offensive threats. Tera Poison grants Quagsire a perfectly accurate Toxic and a poison immunity while also allowing it to handle Grass-types and offensive threats that use Grass-type moves such as Tsareena, Trailblaze Scizor, and Seed Bomb Pawmot. Tera Ghost allows Quagsire to beat Maushold by becoming immune to Population Bomb as well as check Slither Wing and Lucario more easily. Tera Ghost also has the added benefit of letting Quagsire serve as a spinblocker against spinners such as Tsareena.

Quagsire primarily fits on balance, stall, and bulky offense teams as a defensive glue that holds these teams together. Common teammates for Quagsire include Stealth Rock setters such as Tinkaton and Tyranitar, which can allow Quagsire to run Spikes. Both can check Gengar, special Salamence, and Iron Jugulis, which pose a threat to Quagsire. Tinkaton can also use Knock Off on Heavy-Duty Boots users such as Sticky Hold Gastrodon, Scream Tail, and Wo-Chien to rack up more damage from Quagsire's Spikes. Scream Tail is another Pokemon that complements Quagsire, as it is able to handle special Salamence as well as Gallade, while Quagsire is able to keep Bisharp and non-Trailblaze Scizor in check. Talonflame is another ideal partner for Quagsire as it can check Tsareena and Giga Drain variants of Wo-Chien. Blissey on stall teams is also a strong partner for Quagsire by virtue of walling almost every special attacker in the tier such as Iron Jugulis, Noivern, and Sandy Shocks.

You don't need the spaces.
Spikes should definitely be the first slash and Rocks second

Have an opening line about Quagsire's role in the tier

Toxic is a staple on standard Quagsire as a means to put many notable Pokemon in the tier on a timer. Like what? Earthquake synergizes with Toxic as it also allows Quagsire to punish common Tera Steel and Tera Poison users that attempt to block the toxic attempt such as Dragon Dance Salamence, Tera Poison Gastrodon, opposing Quagsires, and Dragon Dance Haxorus. Stealth Rocks and Spikes are fairly interchangeable on Quagsire and the hazard of choice depends on what teammates it is paired with. On more offense-oriented teams, Quagsire may want to run Stealth Rocks if none of its other teammates has it. whereas on teams where longevity is emphasized, it should run Spikes. This isn't necessarily true, on offensive teams, you would value Spikes just as much. This should just be about how Quagsire would rather run Spikes but if no other teammate can afford to fit Stealth Rock it can run it.

Ice Beam with a Relaxed Nature allows Quagsire to get a 2HKO on Hawlucha after Stealth Rocks chip while Liquidation lets it and beat Tera Flying Tyranitars that try to use Substitute to gain Dragon Dance boosts, but these two moves are much more niche options that allow Quagsire to not be set up fodder. The item choice of Leftovers or Heavy-Duty Boots should be dependent on whether the team has reliable hazard removal or not. Leftovers are preferred if the team is using a defogger such as Talonflame while Heavy-Duty Boots is more desirable on teams that run a rapid spinner or lack hazard removal. I think you're stretching a bit here, Talon is one of the very few Defog users (a mediocre one at that), if what you said is true then Boots would be the initial slash because spinners are way more common. Just say the passive recovery from Leftovers is greatly appreciated to check foes like CB Tyranitar and CB Lycanroc-D better, but if removal cannot be fit then Boots is a more appealing option.

While Quagsire will not use Tera often, the rare times it does (often in emergencies), Don't use brackets it has two options. Don't word it like this, say something along the lines of how Quagsire should only use Tera defensively to check certain dangerous threats when pressed to. Tera Ghost is nice for Toxtricity or Noiverns that use Boomburst, but it is vital to scout out if it is choice-locked or not, it also allows Quagsire to check Maushold as Bite would still fall short of a 3HKO on Tera Ghost Quagsire. So Quagsire should never be your response to Noivern, especially Specs. It could come in clutch at times but it's not a great example. Even Toxtricity is an odd one because there is a likely chance that they Tera Normal, which means you don't KO back and you've now removed the resistance to its STABs. Tera Ghost is mainly for Maushold and gaining the Fighting immunity to better check Lucario and Slither Wing. Tera Poison is strong for 100% accurate Toxics and poison immunity, it also allows Quagsire to handle grass types and offensive threats that use grass moves such as Tsareena, Tauros-Blaze with Trailblaze, and Mimikyu's that run Wood Hammer. Seed Bomb from Pawmot.

Common teammates for Quagsire include Tinkaton and Tyranitar Hippowdon who are Stealth Rock setters that can allow Quagsire to run Spikes. Tinkaton Both can check Gengar, Salamence, and Iron Jugulis which poses a threat to Quagsire, while Tinkaton can also and can use Knock Off on Heavy-Duty Boots users to rack up more damage from Quagsire's Spikes. Hippowdon is able to check special Salamence if it does not run Hydro Pump alongside Iron Jugulis, and it is able to Roar out Substitute Tyranitar which none-Liquidation variants of Quagsire enjoys. You will very rarely pair Hippo and Quag together, regardless Hippo is not a Jugulis check given Specs 2HKOs with Hurricane. Specially Defensive Scream Tails is another Pokemon that complements Quagsire as it is able to counter all variants of Sandy Shocks and can pass wishes to Quagsire to conserve its Recover PP in more prolonged matches, and in return, Quagsire can keep Swords Dance Mimikyus that lack Wood Hammer and Dragon Dance Salamence/Haxorus in check which commonly runs Iron Head. Quagsire doesn't really need a dedicated answer to Sandy Shocks, besides Sandy just volts or sets Spikes for free against Scream. Scream would deserve a mention for handling stuff like special Salamence and Gallade. Also, Wood Hammer Mimikyu isn't common enough to mention, DD Mence doesn't run Iron Head, and Quagsire does not beat Haxorus because Mold Breaker ignores Unaware. Something like Scizor or Bisharp makes more sense here. Talonflame is another ideal partner for Quagsire as it can keep Tsareena and Giga Drain variants of Wo-Chien in check and alongside removing Hazards for Leftover variants of Quagsire through Defog. Blissey on stall teams is also a strong partner for Quagsire by virtue of walling almost every special attacker in the tier.

Hi TyCarter there is quite a bit here so I want you to tag me once this is implemented for another look at. A good amount of the content is fine but some of the examples are off.

When writing an analysis please make sure you write about the moves ideally in the order you format the set (There can be some exceptions depending on writing styles). This also applies to the item and Tera type as well. For example, you opened up about Toxic but it was the last move slashed on your original set and you mentioned Tera Ghost before Poison.

I have not made this change for you in my check so please make sure to do this bit yourself. If there are any questions just ask here and I'll respond when I can.

Twilight, hi I was able to implement the changes you noted. I decided to do some revising and was not sure if Trailblaze Scizor is common enough to be mentioned as a potential threat to Quagsire given Scizor only dropped into the tier recently. Also wrt Tinkaton and Tyranitar, I only said Special Salamence for checks instead of Salamence straight up since Tinkaton and TTar struggle to handle DD Variants of Mence since I assume EQ is common. Feel free to look over it again when possible.

Once again please remove the spacing, it impacts uploading the analysis. It should look exactly as I've done above.

Quagsire is a notable physical wall that holds many teams together thanks to its ability Unaware which allows it to ignore boosts from setup sweepers like Salamence and Scizor. Toxic is a staple on standard Quagsire as a means to put many notable Pokemon in the tier on a timer such as Hippowdon, Talonflame, and Gastrodon. Ice Beam with a Relaxed Nature allows Quagsire to get a 2HKO on Hawlucha after Stealth Rocks chip and Liquidation lets it beat Tera Flying Tyranitars that try to use Substitute to gain Dragon Dance boosts. Liquidation is mid and Ice Beam lets you beat post Tera Ttar anyway. The item choice of Leftovers and Heavy-Duty Boots are interchangeable but they both offer unique benefits. The passive recovery of leftovers allows Quagsire to check Choice Band Tyranitar and Choice Band Lycanroc-Dusk better, however, if the team can not fit in hazard removal, Heavy-Duty Boots is much more appealing. Tera Poison is strong for 100% accurate Toxics and poison immunity, it also allows Quagsire to handle grass types and offensive threats that use grass moves such as Tsareena, Trailblaze Scizor, and Seed Bomb Pawmot. Tera Ghost allows Quagsire to wall beat Maushold by being immune to Population Bomb and check Slither Wing and Lucario. , it is also worth noting that Bite does not do enough to put Tera Ghost Quagsire in any danger.

Common teammates for Quagsire include Tinkaton and Tyranitar who are Stealth Rock setters that can allow Quagsire to run Spikes. Both can check Gengar, special Salamence, and Iron Jugulis which poses a threat to Quagsire. Tinkaton can also use Knock Off on Heavy-Duty Boots users to rack up more damage from Quagsire's Spikes. Scream Tails is another Pokemon that complements Quagsire as it is able to handle Special Salamence and Gallade while Quagsire is able to keep Lucario, Bisharp, and standard Scizor in check. Talonflame is another ideal partner for Quagsire as it can keep Tsareena and Giga Drain variants of Wo-Chien in check. Blissey on stall teams is also a strong partner for Quagsire by virtue of walling almost every special attacker in the tier.

Make sure to implement everything, I had to repeat some things from the first check. The green usually means you can just copy and paste it in when it comes to my checks. You can remove the Trailblaze Scizor mention if you want, I did so for you already but the other Scizor mentions in the analysis are fine. Looks a lot better now gj.

Common teammates for Quagsire include Tinkaton and Tyranitar who are Stealth Rock setters that can allow Quagsire to run Spikes. Both can check Gengar, special Salamence, (AC) and Iron Jugulis which poses pose a threat to Quagsire. Tinkaton can also use Knock Off on Heavy-Duty Boots users such as Sticky Hold Gastrodon (should you specify Mold Breaker here?), Scream Tail, (AC) and Wo-Chien to rack up more damage from Quagsire's Spikes. Scream Tail is another Pokemon that complements Quagsire as it is able to handle Special special Salamence and as well as Gallade while Quagsire is able to keep Bisharp and non-Trailblaze Scizor in check. Talonflame is another ideal partner for Quagsire as it can keep check Tsareena and Giga Drain variants of Wo-Chien in check. Blissey on stall teams is also a strong partner for Quagsire by virtue of walling almost every special attacker in the tier such as Iron Jugulis, Noivern, and Sandy Shocks. (add period)

Changes implemented, I didn't specify Mold Breaker for Tinkaton with regards to Knock-off since almost if not every Tinkaton runs Mold Breaker and has no real good reason to run Pickpocket or Own Tempo over Mold Breaker in the current SV UU landscape.

This is uploaded but for future reference im gonna just point out formatting errors in here since the credits one took me a solid 5 minutes to actually spot when upload was failing. In general its easier to just copy paste the skeleton directly from this thread to avoid errors.
