What seems to be a peaceful, serene day in Viridian City is yours for the taking, after you deliver two small parcels for Professor Oak, a tradition he seems to have many a new trainer go through. You've recently come to Kanto for your own personal reasons, but being a novice Pokemon Trainer doesn't pay the bills on its own. You walk into the PokeMart, and you're greeted by the cashier. "Here for the parcel?" You notice one other person in the PokeMart, who seems to be browsing the stock in a Unovan football uniform. After affirming why you're here with the cashier, you're handed the parcels.
Each is a small brown box, maybe three inches to a side, or seven and a half centimeters, depending on which region you're from. You don't know what it is, and the shipping address seems to be from somewhere in the Fiore region for one and the Kalos region for the other. The path to Pallet Town is an easy trip for a trainer like you with two Pokemon, and then you're free to go with a little more cash in your pocket!
The day has other plans for you.
As soon as you step outside the PokeMart, two bird-like Pokemon attack you! They peck at your hands, forcing you to drop the parcels, but freeing your hands to send out your own Pokemon. You reach through your pack, pushing through the four Potions and two Ethers you're carrying.
What type of Pokemon are attacking you? Easy ones to deal with, or more of a Hard battle?
Cherubi: Ruby - Female - Stage 1
Types: Grass
Abilities: Chlorophyll
Profile:
Ruby is the high-spirited leader of the self-proclaimed Team Friendship, a band of three little Pokémon who (attempt to) rid the world of all the mean, evil axe men that cut down forests! ...At least that's what Ruby said. Feisty by nature, Ruby will fiercely fend off anyone who goes anywhere near her nutrient ball or her teammates.
How They Met:
Originally the sole member of Team Friendship, Ruby recruited the others to join her and took them everywhere on exciting adventures! Doduodrio found Ruby and the rest of Team Friendship camped outside the local Pokémon daycare, planning a siege to "rescue" all of the "poor trapped souls." Luckily, he was able to stop them and recruit them to join his team so that they wouldn't cause any more mischief.
Name Origins:
Ruby came from Cherubi. Also because Cherubi is red like a ruby.

Tyrunt: Davri - Male - Stage 1
Types: Rock / Dragon
Abilities: Strong Jaw /
Profile:
Davri is a cool and confident jack-of-all-trades and a member of the self-proclaimed Team Friendship, a band of three little Pokémon who (attempt to) rid the world of all the mean, evil digger men that steal all of the good, shiny rocks! ...At least that's what Davri said. When faced with even a particularly tough opponent, Davri will stand up to them with no fear. He likes to collect rocks and has amassed quite a large collection of various shiny stones.
How They Met:
Ruby recruited Davri with a promise to attack any mean, evil digger men that they encountered on their journey. Fortunately for the mean, evil digger men, they haven't encountered any so far and hopefully will not encounter any in the future. As for how he met Doduodrio, he found Davri and the rest of Team Friendship camped outside the local Pokémon daycare, planning a siege to "rescue" all of the "poor trapped souls." Luckily, he was able to stop them and recruit them to join his team so that they wouldn't cause any more mischief.
Name Origins:
Davri is the name of a Water Singer from the novel Divided Fire. He is the son of Lord Darius of Crescent Bay. Since he's an upper-class man with a fancy-sounding name, I thought it would fit the royal Tyrunt very well.
